Waterfront cottage in beautiful Rice Point, PE.

This two-bedroom family cottage overlooks the beautiful red sand shoreline. With a private staircase to the beach below, guests will have full access to the best of PEI right outside their door. Bring your kayak or paddle board for an unforgettable experience.

Just minutes from Canoe Cove Provincial Park, Argyle Shore Provincial Park, Rice Point wharf beach, and Henneburyā€™s beach. Weā€™re also close to Country View, Clyde River, and Glen Afton golf courses. 20 minutes in one direction to downtown Charlottetown, 20 minutes in the other to beautiful Victoria by the Sea.

The freshly-updated cottage sleeps 7 comfortably, with a queen (bedroom 1), double and twin (bedroom 2), and double pull-out couch. A large dining table, which seats 6 (and has room for more!) is situated beside the spacious kitchen - complete with new cookware, dishes, and child-friendly touches. Microwave, Keurig, drip coffee maker, and other kitchen essentials on site. Fibre-op high speed internet and Google Chromecast for viewing your favourite streaming services. A/C unit and fans will keep you cool on our beautiful island summer days. Baby-friendly items available on request.

On our wrap-around deck, youā€™ll find a bbq and a pergola area, where you can enjoy the gorgeous view while the tree-lined yard provides you privacy. The large yard also has a shaded tree area, plenty of open grass, picnic table, and fire pit.

Beach access is available on a private lane next to the property. Use at your own risk and please mind the cliff.

We had a wonderful stay at Stetson Cottage. The access to the water is exactly what we wanted. Our 6 year old spent lots of time in the tide pools and the sunsets were epic. It was a perfect location to use as a base to see the rest of the island. We loved it.

A beautiful cottage and central to everything ! We were thrilled when we pulled up to this cottage and it was even more than we expected! It was bright and clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit especially and looking over the water at the brilliant moon and stars. 20 minutes in either direction to Charlotttetown and Victoria by the Sea. The cottage offers tons of privacy and beautiful views. I would not hesitate to recommend it and hope to come back.

This is a lovely, comfortable home in a beautiful location. The layout was great for socializing, and it was well appointed. The location is wonderful and was convenient to Charlottetown. The hosts left helpful and detailed information, and a nice welcome gift.

Great Place To Visit P.E.I.

We very much enjoyed our relaxing and peaceful stay at the property. The sunset views were spectacular as were the full moon nights. Walks on the beach at low tide were great. Communication with the host was excellent and appreciated.

2024 Family PEI Road Trip

Property was impeccably clean and well equipped. Waterfront was beautiful and at low tide could walk a good distance to explore. Enjoyed the lovely firepit and seals popping up in the water to say hi!

Rice Point PEI!

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. Engagement with the host could not have been easier. The cottage was well appointed with all the amenities one could ask for during a getaway. The location was magnificent with tremendous views. In addition, you are only a short drive from Charlottetown.

perfect family cottage

I rented this cottage for my son and 2 young children. The cottage and beach were perfect for them and the beach and sunsets were awesome! The owners were so accommodating and helpful with any questions they had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Highly recommend this cottage!

This place was stunning!! Location was absolutely perfect! Quiet and private yet a short drive to town. The pictures do not do it justice! The cottage was nicer than the pictures on the listing! I wish I could add pictures! We saw seals every night in the water right from the property. The property is extremely private and quiet. We highly recommend this cottage if going to PEI! The cottage was completely renovated and the cleanest place Iā€™ve ever stayed!

Calm beaches and close to everything

Great little place on the seaside and off the beaten path. Clean and a full array of kitchen equipment, dishes, towels and linens. Internet works well and i was able to stream from my phone in the evenings and take a few work video calls midday. Very close to long beaches on the Northumberland Strait. Approxmate "middle" of the island: close to Charlottetown, Victoria by the Sea and 45 mins to Summerside and Cavandish. Good for families and active groups.

Peaceful and relaxing

Our stay was great. We wanted to getaway from the city to relax and thatā€™s just what we did.The place is cozy and clean. They have all you need.We werenā€™t able to enjoy the outdoor deck because of bee issues. They come from underneath the deck and kept coming right at us. So no supper outside and no board games either. The bee situation did keep us from enjoying the back /deck like we were looking forward too.The passage/street to go to the house is very bumpy, many big holes. We have a low car and it broke something underneath.In all, we do recommend.We would go back, but would need to know if the bee situation is still there.

Excellent Stay in Rice Point

What can we say other than our stay was amazing! The house is very well appointed and the owner makes sure you have everything you need for your stay. Very considerate and added a level of care that is beyond our expectations. There was not one thing we needed but didn't have. The beds are very comfortable and the sheets and blankets were very nice. We appreciated the air conditioning, but when the weather was cool we turned it off and opened the two large screen doors to enjoy the sound of the waves. The outdoor furniture was comfortable as well and it was lovely to sit out on them on the deck in the morning with a coffee or tea. The mosquitoes were bad in the evening (but where aren't they though in August?!) but nonexistent in the mornings or early afternoons and bug spray helped in the evening! A screened in gazebo would be a lovely addition at the end of the property in order to fully enjoy the water - just a suggestion!! Lastly, the house was extremely clean and it was easy to keep clean (vacuum, mop, all cleaning products available and it is clutter-free). Rice Point is beautiful, quiet, and remote enough if you're looking to get away from a city, but also an easy drive to "civilization" (Cornwall and Charlottetown we went to the most for groceries) and the stores. We would stay again, hands down!
