***Very flexible check-in, check-out times - if the suite is not rented on either side you can check in as early as 10:00 a.m. and check out as late as 2:00 p.m.****

ENTIRE Carriage House
Our carriage/guest house is located on a 1.3-acre private property, full fenced and within walking distance (500 yards) to the Pacific Ocean. The main house faces the ocean, the carriage house is located in the far back of the property amongst trees/below a mountain.
*High Speed Internet – solely your own as we have 2 separate services on site.
*Key-less entry - Lisette completes in-person check-ins and will give a quick suite tour, it is not necessary to meet in person for check out.
*Water filtration for the entire property - you can drink from the tap.

The Master Bedroom
This 360 square foot modern, serene, and private room is self-contained with a large 240 square foot balcony. That is, 600 square feet of indoor/outdoor living space!
*King Size Bed
*55” Smart TV – full cable, music channels – swivels towards the bed, the shower or the soaker tub.
*Translucent electric fireplace
*Full-size bathroom – soaker tub for 2, shower for 2, water closet….for 1
*Heated floors and vaulted ceilings
*Outdoor patio seating - 3 options

Added Bonus - Kitchen, Living Room, Second Bathroom, Office
*650 sq feet
*Fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven (SAVE $$$ by eating in) for longer stays - washer/dryer.
*Fully stocked kitchen - dishes, utensils, bowls, kettle, blender, etc. (food items - salt, pepper & olive oil).
*60" TV in the living room which also swivels so you can watch TV while cooking.
*Outdoor patio with seating that overlooks the property
*Second bathroom for the husband :)
*Privacy between the main suite and the master bedroom - 2 TVs and "space" if needed.
*Electric blinds - chose between totally open, totally closed or semi-open.

Additional amenities: starter kit of coffee, various types of tea, hot chocolate, sugar, coffee cream. Please feel free to inquire if you have any special requests.

***Besides your personal toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, etc.) you may wish to pack your own slippers and/or housecoats. Outdoor shoes can not be worn in the suite.***

The carriage house is on the same property of the owner’s house yet totally private. It is its own separate home and there is ample distance between them.

Interaction from owners only if guests initiate contact as our guest’s privacy is of the utmost importance to us. As owners, we are only a text or phone call away 24 hours a day if anything is needed. We live onsite and will be onsite for guests should they require anything.

We had a wonderful weekend

This was such a nice place to stay and Lisette was great to communicate with and very responsive to our questions. It was stocked with everything that you would need and was very spacious and relaxing.

Amazing stay!

There isn't anything Lisette hasn't thought of for this property. She greeted us with a short tour of the property when we arrived. It was cozy and private and anything and everything you need is there. The best part of the stay has definitely gotta be the soaker tub, especially for those rainy days. The location is great for exploring on the east coast of the central island. Lisette went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of fantastic. We would definitely revisit if in the area again. Thanks again for everything! 😊

Weekend Getaway

We haven’t even reached our home yet and I want to go back. Bright, airy, clean and comfortable; this place is a ten out of ten. Lisette was so welcoming and she made us feel at home, instantly. We really enjoyed our stay and we will certainly be returning next time we head over to the island.

Anfitrião: Lisette Harris

Peter and I (Lisette) are both semi-retired. We had initially decided to just rent the master bedroom for fun as we had a few months of it not being rented to a long term tenant. After having exceptional guests (so blessed!) we are now renting the entire carriage house.
When we are not at home, we are on the water but we are always home when we have guests stay in the event something with the suite goes sideways (unlikely but possible?!).

Peter and I have travelled extensively since we married in 2011. We decided a few years ago to make our forever home into our own resort and travel internationally less often. With the emergence of Covid, this has further solidified our desire. While we don't post landscape pictures for privacy/safety reasons, we do often hear that the property feels like a resort - our vision is coming to life.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The carriage house is really peaceful and private. While it shares the property with the main house it has a totally different feel (the houses are on opposite ends with the pool house in between).
I LOVE this space. Lounging on the back balcony, with a good book and a warm, soft blanket is living my best life. Or, reading in the soaker tub with the fireplace on...it just doesn't get any better.
We love it and we love being able to provide this experience for our guests. We have had great long term tenants but we have another month or so before our next business person moves in.
