Adorable Loft Apartment

This cozy coastal retreat has been recently remodeled with a nod to the mid-century hey-day of the Wildwoods while also including many modern amenities to help make your stay comfortable and worry-free. Located in the attic of one of the Crest’s unique, historical buildings (a twin house reportedly built by brick mason bootlegger brothers in the 1920’s!), this two bedroom apartment accommodates up to five people. Make your own meals in the small but fully equipped eat-in kitchen, though you’re also conveniently located close to great places to eat like Primo’s Hoagies, Lizzie’s Ice Cream, Jellyfish Café, and Britton’s Gourmet Bakery. You’re also within walking distance of nearly everything fun in Wildwood Crest: Centennial Park’s free concerts and Zumba classes, boat cruises, tennis courts, Crest Pier, the library, and even a Laundromat. And of course, it’s just three blocks to the clean, free beaches of the Crest and a 15 minute walk to Wildwood’s famous boardwalk! Bike or drive across the bridge for Cape May’s excellent dining and shopping options, too.
The apartment is cooled by window air conditioner units in the bedroom and living room. (There’s a gas heater for the winter months, too.) For that occasional rainy day, there’s cable TV and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom contains a shower stall but no tub, and access is through one of the bedrooms. An outdoor shower and a clothes line are located in the backyard for your convenience. The backyard is shared with the residents downstairs but is also available to guests for relaxing and grilling. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and beater bicycles are available upon advanced request. Bed spreads, blankets, mattress pads, and pillows are provided; sheets and towels will need to be brought from home (due to issues related to COVID-19). The owners’ parents live at the property and are happy to help if available. The apartment is located up two flights of stairs in case climbing steps is an issue.
Please note that during the summer season, rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.

Summer family break

We are always looking for a quiet and calm place to stay with the kids. We like our busy days at the beach and boardwalk but also appreciate a sereine environment to wind down and sleep well. This place is exactly responding to our needs. After a quick once over since we have hight standards ourselves we felt extremely comfortable for our week holiday. The outside shower is a big plus, as no sand is coming to the flat. We also appreciate that we could borrow the cart chairs and umbrellas which made our packing easier. The location is perfect as only 7mins walk to the beach. Lovely bakery and ice cream just around the corner. The mother who lives downstairs was always a ai le if we needed something. Hope to be back. Thank you! .

Try it, you'll like it!!

Only a few blocks from the beach. Outside shower, clothesline, grill, seating and 2 flights of steps up to rental with small deck. Keyless entry. Bright and well stocked kitchen (my favorite room). Futon/couch was comfy. Queen bed was comfy (room was not very big). Water in kitchen, shower and sink were strong👍. Plenty of storage in bathroom and kitchen. This is our second time renting and we will rent again!

Charming Rental

We loved this rental. From the outdoor shower and patio, to the layout and cleanliness of the interior, this place was perfect. The host was easy to communicate with and her parents (who live on the property) were helpful and friendly. The unit was well stocked and clearly well cared-for. With all the attention to small details, it felt like a home away from home.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Eileen's property. It was even better than the pictures! It had everything we could've possibly needed- from kitchen supplies to games for our kids. Very thoughtful use of space, you can tell a lot of effort went into the planning/ organizing of every part of the apartment. I was especially impressed with the baby proofing of cabinets and low windows. The five of us were very comfortable and slept soundly. Nice, quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Walking distance to cute bakery, ice cream shop, Mexican restaurant which we enjoyed. And of course the beach! Parking was never an issue. Communication with Eileen was always easy and very pleasant. Would absolutely recommend!!

Perfect Vacation Retreat

Fun in wildwood in a lovely quaint fun apartment

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and all needed household items were supplied. The space was just fine for the three of us adults. The neighborhood was very nice, and the beach was about four blocks away, an easy walk. Bringing our many items up the stairs was a bit strenuous, but doable. Eileen and her mother Mary were very nice and friendly. We would definitely rent this cute quaint apartment again.

Perfect Beach Cottage

Charming cottage feel was perfect for my wife & 2 teen daughters. Well equipped property & Eileen, owner, & her Mom were the perfect hosts. Would happily recommend for a family of 4 or group of friends as a place to stay at the beach.

Rental was even nicer than expected!

Well designed and remodeled for maximum space in this 2 bedroom apartment. Bathroom toilet, sink and shower performed well. The bathroom was accessed through a bedroom; a bit awkward sometimes. Kitchen provided everything needed but not at all crowded. 2 window air conditioners weren't always enough for us. We brought a box fan that we used to push the cool air into other rooms like the kitchen. The host provided a beach buggy, beach chairs and bikes!!! Really appreciated!!! Safe entry into apartment; well lit, keyless entry. I highly recommend this rental!!!

Beautiful spacious apartment

We really enjoyed this beautiful apartment. It was well stocked and spacious for our family of 4. Short walk or drive to the beach. Ample street parking. Nice quiet street. Outside shower was perfect for overflow or just to rinse off the sand after a beach day. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful apartment.

This was perfect for us

I am in love with this VRBO. Everything about it was just right for us. The little touches brought the apartment to life, and the property itself is full of personality. We arrived late. The directions on VRBO (how to check in) made it easy, even though it was late (and dark). I loved the option of bringing our own sheets and towels - I didn't have to worry about staining anything that wasn't mine with makeup or lotions. I loved the deck. It was like being in your own little world. I'd lay on the bench cushion and just look at the beautiful blue sky. The property is shared, but I never felt like I didn't have any privacy. All neighbors were respectful - it was almost odd how private it felt. We enjoyed walking to the beach and the boardwalk to get our exercise, and the steps were also excellent exercise. If you are a much larger person, this property might not be for you. You will be climbing stairs, and the rooms are not incredibly spacious - but that is only an issue if you are used to tons of space. We settled into a routine - returning from the beach, we would shower in the outdoor shower (which had everything necessary; a changing room, towel hooks, shampoo, body wash, and the wonderful feeling of not having to worry about getting sand all over the home). I would recommend a shower bucket if you like to use your own shampoos and soaps to carry up and down the stairs with you for such an occasion (that is what I did). After that, we'd wrap ourselves in towels, hang our suits on the clothesline, and dry off while relaxing on the lounge chairs, or back up on the deck. We were there for a dance competition, and the owner has a full length mirror that you can put where you like. We set it against the wall in the (twin bed) room, and my daughter spread a towel and she was able to apply her makeup that way! The rest of us used the bathroom mirror. The window units were perfect for sleeping and keeping us very cool (we were never too hot, even in 95 degrees). The owner was thoughtful in that there were spaces to put everything - a toothbrush tray, a tray for toiletries, a caddy in the stall shower, baskets and hampers for dirty clothes, hangers, etc. This property was a tremendous value. Eileen, thank you for offering your home on VRBO. It has caused me to fall in love with the Jersey Shore. And thank you for all the wonderful decorating ideas!

Perfect destination for groups of young people

This destination was absolutely ideal for myself and 4 other young adult women, at a price extremely reasonable for us. Everything was exactly as advertised, and we all had a lovely time. If you plan to bring your own sheets, I believe the bed in the bedroom was a full size, whereas the sofa bed was closer to a queen (Eileen please correct me if I am wrong!). We only had 1 small maintenance issue which was rapidly fixed by the owner’s parents, who were very involved in our stay (specifically her mother Mary, a very nice woman). The door lock made us feel very safe, the kitchen was completely usable, and the living area was perfect for hanging out. We did not get a chance to explore the area much, but the walk to the beach was extremely reasonable. We were able to find street parking on all days but our last, even though we took the car almost every day. Downtown Wildwood is very close to this property, and attractions like the Cape May Zoo are only a short drive away. What really wrapped up our stay at this wonderful property actually occurred after we left. Some folks in our party had forgotten some small things (a bag, a bikini top, and a towel) and the owner’s mother Mary kept in communication and worked with us to help us retrieve them. Overall, an absolute five-star experience. We wished we could stay there all summer!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Sehr hübsch und gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Nur ca. 5 Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Sonnenschirm und Strandstühle zum Mitnehmen waren auch vorhanden. Die freundliche und hilfsbereite Mutter der Vermieterin wohnt unten im Haus.

Beautiful get away spot

We had a wonderful stay in the attic apartment! It was CLEAN and nicely decorated. Everything was right about it. The place was just as pretty as the pictures. The walk to the beach was a breeze! The lady that we could contact should we need anything, Mary, was lovely! It was affordable and well-appointed! I would highly recommend this attic apartment and would, without hesitation, stay there again.

Charming weekend getaway

My husband and I were beyond pleased with Eileen’s hospitality and charming abode. We were well equipped with everything you could think of- a fully stocked kitchen, roomy living room, and comfy bedroom. The farmhouse style apartment made us feel cozy and at home while being a block or two away from the beach! We will definitely be back!

A great getaway

Wonderful Family Vacation!!

Our family trip was amazing! Such a cute and cozy apartment and we felt right at home. It was perfect for my husband and I and our 3 children. Eileen was very responsive and such a wonderful host! Her parents were so welcoming and they made us feel right at home! It was very clean and close to beaches, restaraunts, activities, and a short drive to the boardwalk! We will definitely be visiting again and I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to visit Wildwood!

Cozy

We made last minute plans to stay at Eileen's place for two nights and felt right at home. Eileen was very accommodating on such short notice. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. We would definitely go back.
