This 2-level home has 5 bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 12. Each level has a master bedroom with queen beds and its own bath.

Main Level:
- 2 bedrooms (1 master, 1 queen)
- Sleep Sofa queen bed in sunroom, with doors that close off the room.


Guests of every age will enjoy the bay beach. It's truly perfect for kids; the bay is calm and provides the perfect place for swimming, collecting seashells, or digging up hermit crabs. Older guests can enjoy water sports, too!

This home is located in premier Cape Shores, the only local waterfront community boasting a community pool, tennis courts, & its own fishing pier - which are available to all renters.

Beach Access:
In order to maintain the integrity of the beach, there is one path for every 2 houses in Cape Shores. The path for this house is shared with the house to the left.

Cape Henlopen State Park Tips:
In addition to its beaches, nature, and recreational trails (which connect to Rehoboth Beach, DE and its boardwalk/dining/shops), key features of Cape Henlopen State Park are the WWI watchtowers. The park showcases their history and will even allow visitors to climb the tower (via interior stairs) and enjoy the expansive views.

Charming, Historic Downtown Lewes:
You can also ride your bike to Historic Lewes (less than 2 miles away) with its quaint, historic Victorian houses; many shops and galleries, and excellent restaurants. Don't miss King's Ice Cream on Second Street!


*Please note that Guests are responsible for supplying all linens (sheets, pillow cases, towels, wash cloths, dish towels, paper products, etc.) and replacing propane tank for the grill if you should run out before check-out. We loved the location of this home! It had gorgeous views and the community was lovely. We also loved the 2 tables for eating and the variety of spaces to hang out in the home.

We loved the location. We particularly enjoyed riding bikes in the park and into Lewes. We really enjoyed the pool - went most afternoons between the kidsā€™ nap time and supper time. The beach was good for the 2 year olds although the water was chilly (expected for this time of year).

Great location and great property

The house was everything we needed. Lots of rooms to spread people around, decks and balconies for access to the outside. We lucked out on good weather (in late March) and ate every meal outside on the screened-in porch. The beds and bathrooms were good too. The house is so close to the park and the beach - we were able to walk on the beach very easily. The kitchen was well-appointed; the coffee maker broke while we were there and a new one showed up just hours after contacting the owner. Great response! We intend to stay here again!

Thanksgiving

This was our third time staying at the Lewes beach home. We love staying at this home. There is 11 of us, all different ages. Easy beach access and walking distance to a park. Plenty of bicycles if you wish to bike. We even biked to town.The kitchen is well equiped and had everything we needed for a Thanksgiving dinner. The home is clean and well kept. Bedding is comfortable. Lee Anne is very responsive and answered our questions within hours, if not within the hour. We would definitely stay again.

Great beach getaway in Lewes

Looks exactly as pictured. The house was extremely well equipped including the kitchen and walk-in pantry. It has beautiful views of the Delaware Bay and amazing sunsets, which you can watch from the outdoor decks. It is right on the beach with a walk path thru fragrant smelling wild flowers and beach grass. We are coming back again next year!!!

Clean house, great location

Our group of three families, six kids in tow, spent a week here to kick off summer vacation and had a great time! Upon arrival, the house was clean and kitchen was well stocked. The house is in a great location, with private beach access and we enjoyed having the fishing pier, swimming pool, and state park all within walking distance. There was plenty to do nearby in addition to the beach and our drives into downtown Lewes and the Rehoboth boardwalk were also very fun.

Cape Shores

Great location on the beach. House was just as advertised. Great view from the family room, where we spent most of our time since the weather was not great. Even though we were not able to see the sunset from the beach or pier due to the clouds, we still took the short walk to both the beach and the pier each night at sunset. We have previously seen the sunset from the beach and pier and it is amazing.

Great spot

We had a wonderful time. The house was in the perfect location-right on the bay with calm water and just down the road from the open ocean. Plenty to do in the area. The pool in the neighborhood was beautiful and never overly crowded. We would definitely come back!

Laid back perfection

The house was perfectly warm and inviting with multiple, different indoor and outdoor seating areas for our large group. Beach and pier access just steps away made this spring weekend not too far from home feel like a special, relaxing, gem of a destination. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for an easy, comfortable weekend on the bay.

Very nice house, great location.

The pictures will say it all, nice house and great location. What sets it apart is the owner's rep, Lee Ann. We had an unexpected beach reclamation project during our stay and Lee Ann went out of her way to make it right. We really appreciated her responsiveness and solution. Had a great visit.

Great Little Get Away!

We had an amazing time in Lewes for a small family gathering this past weekend! The house was perfect for what we intended and loved having direct beach access. We were a bit upset upon arrival when we figured out the next door neighbor was having major work done to their home. There is machinery everywhere so we didn't end up with the nice view we should have had, from any angle of the house. Luckily, the last morning was the only time the machine's woke us up due to their 6am start time. Other than that everything went well and would recommend this home to anyone in the future!

Thanksgiving Family Weekend

Perfect location!

This house was great for our group of 5 for a late season girls weekend! We felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves. Neighborhood & beach were great for walking or riding one of the bikes that were available. The house provided more than we were expecting (beach chairs & umbrellas, paper products, trash bags). The second refrigerator was handy as well. Bedrooms were spacious, living room furniture was very comfortable, and lots of deck/balcony space. We hope to be back next year!

Cape Shores

We have stayed in quite a few Cape Shores homes over the years, but this was the first time in this rental. Great place to stay...on the beach, quick drive into town and walking distance to the park. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Lewes.

The house was exactly as described, except that there are beach chairs and bikes which was a very welcome addition. Lee Ann is the best host I have had at a rental house. She was extremely responsive and helpful .
