VILLA LA SULTANA



Walk to The Marina in flip-flops, eat dinner with the kids in tow, and be back at the villa before anyone gets tired. La Sultana sits in Bahía Chavón on the lagoon's north shore — a Balinese pavilion estate built for two families or a multi-generation group who want a Marina-walkable base. Five bedrooms sleep ten across the main villa and a separate elevated guest bungalow, with a cook handling the meals at home when you're not eating out.



The property is big enough that no one is on top of anyone in the morning. Someone wakes first and walks the stone path through the garden. The lagoon is glassy on the other side of the hedge. The kids run to the play structure that's just theirs. The octagonal guest pavilion next door gives older cousins a place to sleep on their own schedule. By midday everyone converges on the main pool. The wooden deck between it and the smaller plunge collects the towels. Lunch goes long outside under deep eaves. At the end of the day, you rinse off at the outdoor shower under a hand-painted mural.



The Marina is close enough to walk to without thinking about it. Out the front gate, down the road, and you're at the pier in the time it takes to finish a conversation. Minitas Beach is a short cart ride west when you want sand, and Altos de Chavón is a short drive up the river for the evening. La Sultana is the villa to book when two families want a base they can leave on foot and come back to without anyone watching the time.

RESORT FEE & ACCESS

All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:

• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)

• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)

• Complimentary for children under 4 years old



Resort fee provides access to:

• Golf courses, Fitness Center, resort restaurants, sports facilities, and other activities.

• Free use of towels and chaise lounges at the pool in the main hotel area, and at Minitas Beach.

• Health care services at the Central Romana Medical Center.

FOOD BUDGET: If your villa comes staffed, we suggest as a rough guideline to budget $50-$60 per adult per day for grocery costs if eating three meals at the villa (not including alcohol). This, of course, can vary due to your dietary requests. The Marina has a well-stocked supermarket with groceries, alcohol, and a wide selection of other products (sunscreen, hygiene products, etc)

- House parties and illegal or immoral activities are strictly prohibited.

- Guests are responsible for any long-distance telephone charges incurred during their stay.

- Guests are responsible for any damage to appliances, furniture, linens, tableware, or other property items during the rental period.
