Beautiful Modern Award Winning Guest Home- N.Van

Welcome to our beautiful, award winning guest house. 1100 sqft of modern design with a comfortable, bright, living space.
2 bedroom/2 bath, kitchen, living, office & laundry. A main floor patio w/lounge, dining & fire pit area, as well as a second floor master patio (w/ peekaboo view of the ocean & city). EV charger.
The home is private & separate from the main house. Very safe and central neighbourhood in North Van, close to many amenities, mountains, hikes, kids parks, transit & much more!
Our place is a non smoking, full sized guest home with its own parking, entrance and outdoor living space.
It is equipped with a full size kitchen and living room, office space, two full bathrooms, a master and guest bedroom. There are laundry facilities on the upper floor and plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. The main floor has in floor heating as well as in the bathrooms. The house is also equipped with air-conditioning and a fire place depending on the season.

The Kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, cutlery and more. We make sure to have the essentials like oils, salt and pepper etc. Garbage bags, green waste bags, hand and dish soap are also available.

The Living room as a 65' TV and a go0gle home mini speaker, a modern large sectional and arm chair.

The office has a small work desk as well as a lounge couch, and TV.

The main floor bathroom has large glass shower, where the upstairs has a shower/tub combo for those that like their bath time!

The master bedroom has a king sized bed with brand new Endy mattress, and walk in closet. Wake up to large triple pane windows and take in the peekaboo view of the ocean and city, or, step out on to the master patio with a 2 piece conversation set or lounge chair to relax on.

The Guest room has a full sized queen bed and pillow top mattress as well as full closet space for belongings.

Open the large, glass, sliding doors on the main floor and bring the outside in. Here you will find a large outdoor dining table, a beautiful modern sectional, fire-pit, BBQ and water feature.

Clean, light and well appointed laneway house

Lydia was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. Great to be able to park the car. Perfect place for ur to stay while visiting family in Vancouver.

Clean and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay in North Vancouver. The location was great and within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping. It is in a quiet, clean, and safe neighborhood that we made us feel very comfortable. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. One of the bedrooms is very small but the bed was comfortable and it was fine for us after we unpacked our bags into the closet and put the suitcases under the bed. We would definitely stay again!

Incredibly beautiful property in. Great location if you are traveling around Vancouver (up to grouse mountain, over to Lynn valley, to Stanley park, as well as exploring North Vancouver and Vancouver proper). Parking was easy (though our ginormous rental vehicle did not fit in the allotted parking there is 24:7 on street parking, no problem.) Lydia and Chad were a delight. The property is a bit pricey, but the architecture and location warranted it, IMO.NB- For people from the US- Canada has an exceptional recycling program and Berger work life balance that is. So make sure to note the recycling and garbage requirements before you start collecting your trash! Also several restaurants have weekdays closed, though the days are different for each restaurant so check the restaurant before making your plans… don’t assume since it’s a weekday it’s open.

The property was just as described on the site.Well stocked with necessity.Not as easy to check in or out. The communication between us and the owner could improve. Text via email was not prompt when mostly needed.The area is not central to any major places or places to go and see.Best if you have a car- which we didn’t- we were dependent on Uber for our outing.Other than that the place and our stay was pleasant.

I’m sorry that you found the check in difficult, if you had properly read the very detailed check in instructions on how to check in and find the lock box you should have no issues with arrival or check out. We have never had this issue so far with any other guest and have been hosting for years. Oh well! Thanks again for staying with us! All the best on your future adventures!

Lydia & Chad were friendly and very helpful when we had questions before and during our stay. It is exactly like the photos.The property deserves its award-winning status. A clever use of space and a beautiful modern design, inside and out. Love the Fisher & Paykel appliances, although we cooked less than we usually do, that was simply due to meals out that were bigger than we’re used to. We did take advantage of eating outside whenever we could. Both the garden area and the balcony off the main bedroom were lovely places to sit and chill.The location is excellent- residential but easy to get to everything either by car or public transport. We planned to hire a car for some of the holiday but after getting our “Compass” travel cards we found it easy and quite quick (although we weren’t rushing anywhere since it was a holiday). The main bus stops we used were both 3 mins walk away although we also did the 30 min walk to The Shipyards and Lonsdale Quay. The bus also got us directly to Grouse Mountain and a discount off tickets as a bonus. You can get to Capilano and Lynn Valley easily and to the ferry from Lonsdale Quay to get to downtown locations, including Gas Town, Granville Market (went on a whale watching tour that was amazing - we were lucky, I guess) and Stanley Park. We would love to return to Vancouver and will aim to stay here if we do. Definitely recommend it.

I am an experienced, and highly rated rental owner and host, who is committed to providing great stays for my guests. I will make myself as available as I can be during your stay and am usually able to be in touch within an hour or so. We live in the main house out front of the property and work close by so if you need anything we can be in contact pretty quickly.

We are located in a very central family friendly neighbourhood in North Vancouver. Close to Lower and Central Lonsdale, full of great shops, markets and whatever you may be looking for. We have a small shopping area one block away that includes restaurants (BLVD Bistro- Local favourite), Bagel Factory, British Butcher & Goods, S'wich Cafe (best sandwiches in town!!) convenient store and more. We are a 5 minute drive to our local sea bus to take you downtown Vancouver within 13 mins. Or take a walk down which takes about 20 mins at a nice leisurely pace. Bus stops are a 2-5 minute walk from our front door, or call a local taxi company to pick you up. We have a handful of microbreweries in our area, all a short distant walk away.
We are close to the local mountains (10-20 mins) for hiking, biking, skiing and more!! North Van is great for outdoor adventure seekers or for those wanting to walk along the seawall by the ocean, or go shopping at Park Royal or Lynn Valley mall l! We honestly have it all! We genuinely love this location and know you will too.

We are walking distance to public transit (1-2 short blocks). Close to the Sea Bus (5 min drive/20 min walk) to take you over to Downtown Vancouver for an array of activities, restaurants and more. A short car ride (5-30mins) to the local mountains (Cypress, Grouse, Seymour) and an 1 hour 45 to Whistler Mountain. Grab a rental car, Uber, or taxi. There are plenty of options.
