Thankyou for the review. I wish you would have contacted me about being cold as there are space heaters in each of the bedroom closets. As it is summer time we turn the furnace off and ac sometimes on.

Unfortunately the worst first experience with short term rentals I wish I had put one star for all categories like I should have These people don’t seem to know how to follow rules The first 4 people arrived and had already been drinking. One proceeded to pee behind their car in the parking space in our yard. The sister ran and jumped in the pool without any concern as to how deep it was. It was actually quite scary. The pool was NOT advertised on the listing. They then had 2 more people come and stay with them even though there was a 4 adult maximum. There is no smoking on the property but they were vaping and there were cigarette butts. They left all their empties and cardboard piled and dripping on the side of the patio and they left the blown tire rubber in the parking spot for us to dispose of. Someone threw up and they used the brand new towels to clean it up. Not sure if it was chunks of puke or food in the drawer under the stove They somehow left with 3 of our beach towels also. We have had a basement suite in our homes for 38 years without any problems. After this first short term rental we wondered if we even wanted to do this. But our next group have been lovely and we have had no issues. This group would be best renting a cabin with nobody around so that they can be as noisy as they like and have as many people as they like and avoid the rules as much as they like I do not recommend anyone with a nice place rent to them.
