Welcome to this 2-bedroom, 2-bath ocean view condo located at Dunes Village Resort in beautiful Myrtle Beach. This 1,040 sq. ft. coastal retreat offers upscale comfort, beautiful décor, and the perfect blend of relaxation and convenience for your beachfront getaway.

The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, full-size appliances including a stove, microwave, and dishwasher, and includes everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. The open-concept living and dining area provides comfortable seating and access to the large private balcony, where you can enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails while taking in the breathtaking ocean views. For added convenience, the condo includes an in-unit washer and dryer and complimentary high-speed WiFi.

The primary bedroom offers a king bed and private bathroom with a luxurious Jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom features two queen beds with access to the second bathroom. The living room includes a queen sleeper sofa, making this layout ideal for families, couples, or groups traveling together.

First and last with Dunes Village Resort. They only provide 2 rolls of toilet paper….we thought paying 2700 for 4 nights would include toilet paper. All outlets only had one plug in that would work, light fixture missing in bedroom, phone doesn’t work, access panel to plumbing fell off wall, beds are terrible, and No hot water the last evening and night of our stay. The parking garage is up the street from the hotel which is an inconvenience. We made multiple attempts to resolve some of these issues. They finally agreed to bring us 2 extra rolls of toilet paper but were not happy about it. Rude and not accommodating. Do Not Recommend!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m very sorry your stay at Dunes Village Resort 1253 fell short of expectations. The issues you described — limited starter toilet paper, nonworking outlets, a missing bedroom light fixture, a nonworking phone, the plumbing access panel coming loose, uncomfortable beds, and the lack of hot water on your last evening — are unacceptable. As disclosed in our listing, we provide a starter supply of toiletries and paper; additional supplies are the guest’s responsibility. That said, your report about staff reluctance and rudeness is not acceptable. I’ve forwarded your comments to our housekeeping and maintenance teams and to property management for immediate inspection and repair. We will also investigate the hot-water outage with building management and review how parking access is presented in the listing to avoid future surprises. Finally, we will address the communication and service concerns with our team to ensure better responsiveness and professionalism. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. We regret that your experience was disappointing.

Subpar Stay - Major Amenity and Maintenance IssuesWhile the location of this property had potential, our stay was highly disappointing due to several unresolved issues and a lack of basic maintenance.The most concerning issue was a problem with stagnant water on the property, which was highly unpleasant. Additionally, basic guest necessities were neglected; our toiletries were never replenished or refurbished at any point during our stay. To make matters worse, key advertised amenities were out of service, which significantly impacted the convenience of our trip.A hotel or vacation rental should, at the very least, provide functional amenities, basic guest supplies, and a well-maintained environment. Unfortunately, this property fell short. I cannot recommend staying here until management addresses these maintenance and guest service issues.

Multiple things to do in the facility from indoor water park to restaurants. Great view right off the beach. Close to surrounding activities. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Stay!

This was perfect for our family of four! The condo was super clean. Just as pictured. The view was stunning. Beds were comfy. The resort offers a ton of fun activities. The location is awesome. It's not in a very crowded, commercial area, but is a close drive to all of that stuff. We would definitely stay again!

Memories were made.

The room was beautiful. The sunset view was stunning. My kids loved the lazy river in the palmetto tower the most. We cannot wait to come back when its summer!!! I’d recommended!! Property Management was easy to communicate with and friendly. Service at the hotel was also amazing, friendly and very helpful.

Fourth time at Dunes!

We are big fan of this property. It is a great balance of fun and convenience for everyone in the family. Owners were easy to work with and quickly responsive to any question. Unit is clean and view is outstanding. My only critique would be that the beds are quite firm. A little too firm for me.

Mismatch between advertising and reality

After an 11 hour trip to Dunes, the front desk clerk couldn't find my reservation. After 1 hour of searching we were able to check in. The lock on the door is faulty, so is the electric stove. There is a thick layer of dust on the fans, the faucet in the bathroom is broken.

Igor we are sorry you were delayed in getting into your room. You booked through our management company and not through the onsite resort. We had emailed you your check in letter with door code to enter the condo when you arrived. We have not been informed there is any issues with the door or the stove in this condo and have had this condo rented several times after your stay. Please know that if you have any issues during your stay we have staff that can assist you 24/7.

Everything about the condo was very nice, except that we had issues with the control panel for the washer and dryer. It was supported by one piece of black duct tape that kept giving way and exposing the wiring. We thought that was a little dangerous and wanted to bring that up to your attention. Otherwise, we would stay at this condo again! Thanks

Thanksgiving Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at the condo. The view was amazing! I think that was my kids' favorite part. When we got there, it smelled a hint of cigarettes, the master shower didn't come on, and all the batteries were dead in the remotes and but that was taken care of quickly. The water park was just OK. It definitely needed some updating, along with the condo. The bed was also pretty hard. However, it was a decent space for us to spend a few days together without all the hustle and bustle.

Don't rent thru VRBO.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Communication with VRBO and Luxury Beach Rentals was extremely poor. I would not recommend them to anyone. The stocking of supplies was minimal. Staying for a month, you were provided one small bar of soap, one small tube of shampoo, concitioner and lotion and one roll of toilet paper per batheroom. Luxury linen service means you wash and dry your linen and bedsheets. You are provided one package of laundry detergent and one package of dishwasher detergent and one small bottle of dishwasing liquid. The tv and internet systems are terrible. I would rate it as third world. The Dunes personnel are unfriendly since y9ou are not renting directly through them.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We wish you had read your check in information where we let our guests know that we only provide starter kits for the amenities and not for your entire stay. We also do not provide daily housekeeping or linen service unless requested. The condo does have a washer and dryer in the condo for you to use without enduring any added costs for this service or keeping your amenities stocked for the month. We honestly have not had issues or complaints about the internet or TV service, as long as you have the TV on the right HDMI they work just fine. Luxury Beach Rentals is available to communicate with 24/7. We have live people answering phones 24/7, emails 9 hours a day and responding through our texting service 9 or more hours a day. We do not leave calls, emails, or text unattended or unanswered and typically have a response time within minutes. We also have full maintenance and concierge service working 7 days a week to service any needs you have during your stay.

My daughter loved the kid splash pad along with the water slides and lazy river. Room was nice and spacious and very clean. Only thing we did not like about the room was the washer and dryer needs updated. Other than that the staff was awesome and we would definitely stay here again!
