Our stay was extremely convenient for a family of 4. With a close enough walk to the beach with 2 toddlers it made our stay even easier. The kids loved watching for alligators in the river off the screened in porch and walking to the playground and the Nest. You cannot beat the location!

Nice furnishings rugs , pottery barn . Nice updated kitchen . Well equipped. Loved the high ceilings . However, there was some black mold in shower and on the porch big black mold . Also black mold on bottom of some of the cushions on dining chair . The sofa was nice but material was dirty and needs cleaned asap . The comforter on the bed has seen better days and we didn’t want to use . The location was great , short nice walk to board walk and close to night heron .

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback of the home. We are sorry to hear of any cleanliness issues that was experienced during your stay. We did investigate these items, as we take the health and safety of our guests quite seriously. In doing so, we found some mildew buildup in the mentioned areas that has since been thoroughly cleaned. Regrettably, in our environment, it is quite common, but we have advised our housekeeping partners to ensure they are more attentive to those high-moisture areas.

We found the condo to be clean and well appointed. It was close to everything we wanted to do, and we enjoyed it!

Lovely place!

Beautiful place; modern, clean, and nicely decorated. Had all the kitchen gear to cook our own meals when we wanted to stay in. Very quiet spot, just a short walk over the dunes to the beach, and super quick bike ride to the Night Heron market. Would definitely stay here again for our next time to Kiawah!

Outstanding Rental

Beautiful villa, close to beach, in a very quiet community. Screened in back patio was wonderful to enjoy the outdoors from inside. The rental company was very easy to work with. I highly recommend!

Reservation/check-in easy peasy. Unit is bright and clean and generally well stocked. There were only three hangers when we arrived, but the onsite manager delivered 20 hangers within 20 minutes. Bed was a double…we expected a queen. Bathroom faucet is very loose…should be tightened. Bed pillows need to be replaced and upgraded. All issues are first world problems…did not diminish our enjoy of the unit.

Not as nice as other units we’ve stayed in. Check in n instructions were confusing (3 lock boxes). Poor lighting . Rental equipment was delivered to wron unit so we didn’t have bikes or beach chairs for a day . Convenient to the beach and quiet . Still love Kiawah bur will rent somewhere else.

Upon arrival property was not as clean as I would have anticipated. Screened in porch had not been swept free of sand and windows on sliding doors were not clean. Air conditioning vents were dirty with black dust. Floors and bathroom did not have the “just cleaned” feel.

We are again truly sorry to any cleanliness issues experienced during your stay. I see from our correspondence that we did offer to have the villa recleaned as soon as this was brought to our attention, which was declined. We have brought this to the attention of our housekeeping partners so that they may be more diligent for the future. We hope that you enjoyed your time on the island regardless.

The condo was not well maintained. The furnishings are older and the upholstered sofa was very stained. The bath had a towel bar, paper roll holder, and sink faucet that were in need of shoring up. The shower has mildew in the shower door area. The icemaker would not work. The screened porch hasn’t been swept of wiped down in some time. The front door handle was close to coming off, we found a screw driver to fix it. The bedroom closet was stiffed with items, making it a challenge to use for only two of us. Light fixtures under the kitchen cabinet and under the microwave didn’t work (a simple check of all light fixtures on a regular basis would alleviate this). The light inside the oven also didn’t work. The dishwasher and sink disposal have an odor.

Great family beach trip

Spent 4 nights in Kiawah for a work trip/ family vacation. The condo was very conveniently located not too far inland from the entrance which made trips to freshfields market easy as well as relatively close to the beach and close to the park with a playground. My husband had the kids (age5) in the morning and they spent the majority of the time at the nearby park and then afternoons we all went out to the beach. The condo was clean and had a nice layout overall. We really enjoyed the main living room and the screened in porch. There was a small issue with the kitchen sink faucet not being fully attached so it moved a bit but otherwise everything was great. The kids slept on the pullout couch. The washer and dryer on the porch is always appreciated for being able to pack less clothes.
