Location! Style! Elegance! This restored "beach" home is fabulous combination of everything a great vacation property should be. One half block to Duval Street in the historic district, this location can not be beat. The home's history is rich...neighboring the historic Gato Cigar factory which is now restored and used as county offices. Duval Square is directly across the street with three restaurants, shops, and even a salon and convenience store. The best homemade ice cream in Key West is just down the street!

The house is beautifully decorated with warm colors, sophisticated furnishings accented with Cuban and beach themed artwork. There is both a living room and reading area in the front of the house and a indoor/outdoor room to enjoy the tropical lifestyle of Key West. A large farmhouse table sits in the sun room with french windows and doors overlooking the pool directly off the new kitchen with black granite counters and stainless steel appliances.

The master bedroom is beautifully decorated with its black pencil post bed and unique bathroom with spa style vanity. The second bedroom sits to the back of the house and feels like the master suite with french doors to the outdoor sitting area and pool.

The 21-foot long heat optional pool features benches on each side for relaxing (one with jets!) There is an outdoor table and nearby gas grill for outside/open air dining.

Totally great property and management company. Clear communication throughout the process. Ran out of propane when cooking dinner and it was replaced in minutes. Bedss were amazingly comfortable too! No complaints, only positive things. Thanks to all!

Absolutely beautiful and luxurious inside and out! This home is in a perfect location, walkable to all the Old Town sites, but on a very quiet, peaceful street. The private pool and garden is amazing!

Key West family adventure

Our time in Key West was awesome! Snorkeling everyday, great food, lots to see, walking, golf carting, Dry Tortugas, Bahia Honda, great place to stay. We can't wait to come back.

Best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in.

Accommodations exceeded expectations. Extremely clean, charming decor, beautiful pool and surrounding landscaping. Property owner very welcoming and responsive. Plenty of space for our family of 6 too.

Great Location and Awesome Home

Excellent location. House was spotless and very safe/secure. Comfort on all levels; patio and pool were fabulous. Bedrooms were spacious and VERY comfortable. Living room, kitchen and dining were relaxing/functional. Highly recommend this location/home for your adventures in Key West!

Excellent location and great house

Location: 1 mile from Mallory Square House was very clean and well laid out. Good water pressure (it's never great in Key West). Landlord was very responsive. Would definitely stay again

Casa De Cuba

Lovely home, nicely appointed, which looks exactly like the on line listing photos. Extremely convenient location between Duval & Simonton. Some construction work in the area during the day, but it was not particularly noisy. Our family of five really enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion for the owner would be to consider a pool vacuum, as leaves were constantly falling on the deck & in the pool.

The property was perfect for our grandparents, children, and grandchildren group and even exceeded our expectations. Property management was incredibly responsive to our minimal problems and proximity to Duvall was wonderful! Highly recommend!

Very nice

House is well appointed and comfortable. Only complaint, the bathrooms are not ventilated. There are no exhaust fans and the windows are painted shut.

Felt like home!

This property is as exactly as pictured! My family and I stayed here and couldn't have had a better experience. It's only a half of block to Duval Street and close to everything. The house is well maintained and beautifully decorated. The pool area is very private and relaxing. We highly recommend!

Perfect house in the perfect location

My husband and I visited Key West with our 3 year old twins and my in laws and the house was PERFECT for us. Plenty of space and the house was stocked with all the necessities. The backyard although small felt like our own private oasis. The pool was awesome and great for a plunge after a day out. The location was perfect. Right off Duval but the street wasn’t loud or busy at all. Cute shops and restaurants at a stones throw and a Great ice cream place on the corner. Would stay here again for sure!!!

Cute, cozy house walkable to everything!

The house was a perfect size for our family. We had room to stretch out and enjoy ourselves. The pool is a little bit small, but heated and in the shade, which was nice in the afternoons when we come back from the beach. Location was great. Just a few steps from Duval Street. Our teenage daughter and her friend were able to walk and get food and smoothies and we didn’t worry about at all. Being a few steps off of Duval I will say it was a bit noisy but typically that died down by midnight. Owner was wonderful to communicate with and check in process was easy. House was clean and well maintained.

Great house

This is a fantastic property. Very clean, very comfortable furniture, fantastic amenities (including coffee grinders that are not on the amenities list) and a fantastic location. We would definitely stay here again. There is a little bit of noise. The generator of the municipal building next door did do a maintenance run Wednesday morning, the filter for the pool is right outside one of the bedroom windows. But these are essentially white noises that aren’t that loud. You’re also less than a block off Duval, and there are plenty of people walking around, but what do you expect; you’re less than a block from Duval. None of these issues would prevent me from booking here again, and I only mention them because I saw other reviewers mention them and wanted to give my two cents. As I said, overall this is an excellent VRBO property and experience.

The house itself is beautiful and in a great location. The pool and patio were a disaster. There is so much foliage surrounding the area that every day more and more of it was all over the patio and floating in the pool. Am I supposed to go on vacation and clean the pool? No. Just no. We never once used the pool bc the temp wasn’t warm enough and we had no access to turn the heat up and it was full of leaves. Also, starting on day 1, the entire family was bit by little bugs that caused everyone to scratch themselves to death and practically bathe in hydrocortisone cream. We’ve been staying in Key West for many years in the same month and never had these problems. If you have that much foliage around the pool, it needs to be dealt with DAILY and not by your guests paying 10k for the week. The patio was essentially a waste- lovely furniture but realized after day 1 we couldn’t sit out there after being bit to death by the little bugs. Obviously it needs to be sprayed on a regular basis. We own several rental properties ourselves. At this price point the owner needs to be PROACTIVE, not REACTIVE. Not relaxing, couldn’t use the pool nor patio, pool temp cold ( we keep our own pool at 84, this wasn’t even close), pool chairs and pool full of leaves every day.

Perfect, Cozy Home

This house was perfect for our family. We rented a golf cart for the week and we had a spot to park. The house came with some extras like hand soaps, laundry pods, garbage bags and spices. They also had nice bath and pool towels. The pool was a little chilly but our littlest didn’t mind. We would bring extra pillows next time. That was the only thing in the house that needed an upgrade. We would definitely stay here again!

Look No Further

No need to look any further. This property is perfect. From the check in process to the checkout process. No problems. The location is perfect, the house is perfect, and the temperature of the pool is wonderful. Plenty of room, everything is in great shape. We loved it and would love to come back.

Fantasy fun vacation!!

My husband and I stayed with two others couples. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. House was nice, well stocked and exactly what we were looking for. Location couldn't be better! Would definitely book again!

All The Right Stuff

Casa De Cuba hits the mark on everything! The location is perfect; walking distance to Duval, but yet quiet at night. Every amenity needed, is provided! Space/Rooms are more than enough, very comfortable for 5 to 6 adults. And the Pool was perfect for relaxing / spending quality family time together! Would highly recommend!

Charming house with great location

We had a fantastic one-week stay with our 2 teen children at this home. It is located near various good restaurants and a 15 min walk to Mallory Square. The home has a lovely plunge pool area for lazy afternoons and cozy spaces to spend time with each other and also spread out. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The house has lots of charm and we hope to return again soon.
