The homeowner would like to address the following: - We're sorry about the overflowing trash can. Trash pickup was the day you arrived, and since you were granted an early check-in, it appears the pickup had not yet happened. Had we been informed, we would have contacted the company to resolve the issue. - We don’t provide firewood, and this is outlined in our materials. The wood you used was part of our personal supply, which we ask guests not to use. - You're right that the lawn hadn’t been mowed; heavy rain in the days prior prevented our caretaker from being able to do so. - As noted in our welcome materials, we provide a stocked pantry with non-perishable essentials like sugar and salt for guest convenience. We understand storage can feel tight, but most guests see these supplies as a huge benefit. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve the guest experience.
