Unit Needs to Be Updated
This Unit has a lot of potential. The layout is beautiful and efficient. It is well-built. The area is very safe and beautiful. The manager is very friendly and obliging.
Stay here once the description states it has been updated.
However, the Unit is outdated, and the kitchen was not cleaned up to par.
The kitchen should be thoroughly cleaned every time before new guests arrive.
For example, the kitchen had dirty flatware. Soap dispensers were dirty. We got a used sponge for starters. We did not get soap, shampoo, or lotion for showers.
One of us fell on our second day due to an old malfunctioning air conditioning unit that was leaking water and flooded the dining room.
This Unit needs updates to continue to be rented, some major TLC, especially if marketed as a "Luxury" unit.
If this is brought up in a response by the owner (I saw her earlier response for another post), I paid for extra guests I mentioned to the owner (to reach the eight maximum that the Unit allows). Further mentioning my concerns about the kitchen cleaning would have been inconvenient (although I did mention it on day 1). Mentioning my concerns about how outdated the Unit is before leaving would have made no difference. We had a short stay, so it was easier to bear it. We stayed three nights; I paid for everything by the book. We were as polite to staff as possible and tried to leave the place the same or better than we found. I even washed most towels.
