Sand Dollar is located in the lovely town of Duck, featuring 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, private pool, hot tub and cargo elevator! Just minutes to some of the most beautiful beaches on all of the OBX!

This house makes it easy to enjoy yourself as it's fully loaded with all the amenities you need. The kitchen is stocked, the great room gives you plenty of space to gather and the bedrooms allow a peaceful respite as needed. There are extra dining chairs in the closet for additional seating. The private pool is saltwater, which is so much better for your skin and hair. It can be heated for an additional fee. There are plenty of pool floats, toys, and beach chairs in the shed for your convenience, so you don't have to go buy them.

This homeowner has provided beach towels for your use, just wash and return to the cabinet when done. The included hot tub is a great way to relax and a gas grill is on site for your grilling pleasure!

The town of Duck is widely known for its meandering boardwalk along the sound side with access to outstanding shops and restaurants. Many come to enjoy the views and comradery of other visitors and locals in the "Downtown Duck" area. It's a great place to enjoy a bike ride through town.

Don't forget your pup as this house is dog friendly!

My family loved this house. The kitchen was well equipped with any dishes or cooking items you can image. The pool and hot tub was very refreshing. The walk to the ocean was short. There were plenty of things to take to the beach. Chairs, towel, floats, ect. I would stay here again.

The location is great as it is only five houses from the beach. I loved the hot tub. We found everything we needed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a wonderful time. This house was in a perfect location, right outside of town and right near beach . House itself was clean and spacious with a beautiful pool and hot tub. Everything needed was provided in the house so all we had to do was food shop. It was a great first experience in the Outerbanks !

Property met our needs for 4 adults and 2 children.they loved the pool and the proximity to the beach. My kids would love to return to Duck. House is a little dated and could use a freshening. Mattresses close to replacement time. Biggest problem was the lack of cleaning. Other than clean sheets and towels it looked like nothing was touched in weeks. Queen/king quits were not clean but agent picked them up and washed them. House very dusty, sand all over 1 chest, medicine cabinet shelves dirty and lots of kitchen flatware, pots and utensils had to be washed. I will say the kitchen was well stocked with a quantity of things. Some should be replaced. We chose to rent this house because it received so reviews of being clean. We hope our experience was just a small glitch in management’s supervision.

Property was in a good location. Convenient having a cargo elevator for our stuff. House wasn't very clean, we cleaned it. Had a major water leak and it was taken cqre of immediately. Guys that came out to fix the leak were great! Courteous, friendly and fixed it fast. Some people on Seabreeze (neighborhood) questioned us on the beach as to where we were staying. They were rude and were letting us know that unless we were on seabreeze, the boardwalk was not ours to use. We explained, several times, that we were on Seabreeze. They also set their tents and chairs directly in front of our stuff and when thr tide was coming in, some of them just moved their chairs directly on top of our beach blankets. We had to ask them to please get off of our things. We were told that they live there so they can sit wherever they want on the beach. All my years of going to OBX and staying in Duck and other areas, over never encountered people like that. Luckily they weren't there on the beach the rest of the week. I will never stay in that neighbor again.

Home away from home

Short walk to the beach and the pool offers the best of both worlds. Works for the sunbathers of our family and the pool is perfect for the littles to play in all day. Hot tub is great for decompressing from the daily adventures. House is a great location for all activities up and down the banks. The house is on a quiet street offering solitude during your stay and just a short walk from the fun Duck has to offer or short drive to other OBX adventures. The crow's nest offers views of the ocean with great sunrises and of the sound for amazing sunsets. This house never disappoints and is our home away from home.
