“Sandy” is the ideal family beach house. We spent much of our youth on the gulf coast, so we know what families look for in a beach home. We offer a private pool, outdoor hot & cold shower, comfortable beds, and enough sit-down dining and sleeping space for 10 (huge dining table). Our beautiful home has stunning gulf views from the front and beach forest views from the back. Our feet never hit the pavement since we are just a few steps from the gulf. Our three screened-in porches are a bird watcher’s paradise. Sea turtles, the endangered beach mouse, and other diverse wild life thrive here. Bottle Nose Dolphins are almost a daily site, and during certain times of the year, the famous Blue Angels practice their air shows in our view. The adjoining gulf side neighborhoods provide us with a safe place to ride bikes, and we are a short sand trail walk to a restaurant, grocery, and liquor store. Our guests will never want to leave this perfect beach house. The main house upstairs includes a queen bedroom with private bathroom and a screen porch; the sea turtle room with two adult-friendly twins; and a day room that converts to a private bedroom with locking, acoustical accordion doors (the two adult-friendly twins can be joined). Sandy also includes a second component: a separate guest cabin on the ground level. The cabin makes for an ideal suite for a couple or a hangout for those surly teenagers. The cabin includes a private queen bedroom with screened-in porch, a full bathroom, and a day room with two comfy twin beds and kitchenette (French doors make the day room private). Wanting to spoil our guests a little, we also include these other amenities: an ice maker machine, three beach bikes, beach umbrellas, a big beach cart, and well-stocked, quality kitchen utensils. Our kitchen has a gas range and a large quartz counter top with bar stools for fellowship. Our on-demand hot water system keeps those showers hot for all in the group. For our hi-tech generation, Sandy is equipped with five flat screen tvs and hi-speed Internet with free WiFi. Sandy is the best family beach house in Fort Morgan!
