Breathtaking Sunsets, Beautiful Luxury Condo, Oceanfront in Shangrila

Shangri-la condominiums are located in the Marina area and next to the Marriott Hotel. The condo is on the 9th floors, of building 3. It is walking distance to many restaurants, coffee shops, local stores and only 5 minutes to the international airport. It has guarded entry with security 24/7.An amazing swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant and a bar areas for great food, margaritas, or just to have an amazing time. The ocean front gym has state of the art equipment, air conditioned and the best sunset views while you workout. Two tennis courts with lights for night play at no additional cost.

The Elevator will directly take you to your dream vacation, opening to a spacious living and dining area. Three bedroom condo sleeps six and possible seventh. The master suite has a king bed, large walk in closet, balcony, bathroom has double sinks, bathtub with a view to the ocean. The second bedroom has a king bed, full restroom and balcony. Third bedroom is smaller, has two twin beds.. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, juicer, and plenty of pots, pans, dishes and silverware.

Living area views are amazing, you can see the beautiful ocean, the spectacular pool, sailboats and cruise ships as they come and go from the port. Nice view of mountains and the city of Puerto Vallarta. If its the right season, a firework show at night. From the living room you walk to the balcony and enjoy the morning sunrise or the afternoon breeze with magnificent views.

Included: Free WIFI, cable, TV in living area , master bedroom and bedroom two, Iron, ironing board, hair dryers, towels, basic cleaning supplies. washer and dryer, water dispenser. For an additional fee, cleaning service is available upon request.

Required age of adults if not accompanied by parents: 24

IMPORTANT NOTE: We strive for energy conservation and appreciate host that are conscious of not misusing it by keeping doors closed when air conditioning is on and turning lights off when not in the condominium. Thank you

Views were outstanding. Waking up to sunshine everyday was heaven. We loved the pool and the restaurant at the pool. All in all we had a wonderful stay.

We have stayed in this complex several times. The pool and the service are great and so are the views. We had a couple of minor inconveniences that occurred, but the owner was very quick to respond and help us resolve.

Fantastic condo

This location was ideal. It's right across the street from the marina. I have limited mobility and loved the location. The condo is furnished very well and well stocked. Angie is very responsive and a great hostess. Beautiful ocean view!

Great location, nice facilities and the grounds are very well kept. Condo is nice but needs some updates. Our contact in PV was not very responsive to our requests for water and toilet paper.

The four of us had a very nice time, the owners were very accommodating and the condo is wonderful. Also a great community, we used the beach front fitness center every morning, the pool is beautiful and not too crowded, wonderful view from our balcony, pleasant staff, and very secure. Location by the Marina is very convenient to numerous restaurants and shops. We would all highly recommend.

A little bit of paradise in PV

Great location, great accommodations for 6 adults over 60. The small room with 2 twin beds was tight. The view was amazing. The deck was fabulous. We love the area which is walking distance to the marina. If the owner has any the penthouse for rent we would love to discuss that with him too.

Very comfortable condo

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The condo itself was very nicely furnished and outfitted with everything you need. Plenty of towels were provided. The bedroom and bathrooms were very nice. The mattresses were high quality and in great condition. The pool for the development was beautiful and there were enough lounge chairs for everyone that wanted them.

Great location at the Marina!

This is a beautiful condo with a gorgeous view. The furnishing are high quality and the kitchen is well appointed. Security at the gate is friendly and helpful. The pool staff is fun to chat with and the food is good. The marina is walkable with good restaurants and shops. When we wanted to leave the area we always got a tax within a minute. We’ve always stayed at the Marriott but this gave us more space and a nicer pool area.

The pictures of the condo don’t make justice

We traveled with a dyalisis patient and Angie went above and beyond coordinating the delivery of our medical supplies to the condo. Condo looks a lot better in person then the pictures and you get the best views. We are definitely going to be back! Thanks again for being a great host, Angie!

Shangri-La - the perfect choice for our family

This is a beautiful condo with a gorgeous view of the bay, mountains, beach & fantastic pool. The condo is nicely furnished & the kitchen has everything you need. We enjoyed days longing at the pool that is half heated & half not while also having the option to lounge at the beach & play some beach volleyball. We also enjoyed the poolside drinks & cantina. Security at the gate is friendly, helpful & takes their job seriously. The marina is within walking distance should you need anything to eat, drink, or get everything you need for a family of 6. It was also very easy to grab a cab to the other areas of PV that we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay in this particular condo again!

Property not same as what was shown on VRBO

We had a reservation for this property from May 1 to May 10. On April 22 the host communicated the following to us:We left you the guest bedroom ready for you (2nd bedroom). The first bedroom will be locked and unable to use, restroom/bath is under repair. This is the only communication we received about the first bedroom being unavailable during our stay. The host did not offer any compensation or the option to cancel with refund even though we were getting a very different space than what we paid for. Instead of a three bedroom condo with the first bedroom having an ocean view, we received a two bedroom condo with neither bedroom having an ocean view. We believe we should receive some compensation for this.

You just forgot to mention a few details of why the room had been closed, and the fact that we kindly change your reservation without any additional rebooking fees. Also, that the guest that did stay was very happy with the condo, no complaint from him during the 10 day he used or home.

Perfect property for a relaxing family getaway.

I have so much praise for this VRBO rental. The unit and the resort are beautiful, modern and upscale. The unit itself was tastefully decorated, well-furnished, and clean. Best of all, they provide a ton of extras you don’t usually come across in a VRBO. Soap, shampoo, lotion, condiments, pool toys, even a vitamix blender in the kitchen to make smoothies! It felt like home to us. The property is top notch. Primarily owner occupied, the pool isn’t overrun. In fact we had plenty of room in the pools and hot tubs every day. There was no having to reserve the best beach chair. Just show up and take your pic. Even the private beach area was only us most of the time. This was during high season (first week of January). The other guests are very friendly. This was our first non-inclusive Mexico stay, and we won’t be doing AI again. Finally, the location of the property was money. On the water on one side, and across the street was the access to the Marina. Tons of amazing restaurant options for reasonable rates. We had fine dining out at different restaurants all week. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Amazing stay, wonderful host

Angie was responsive, accommodating and easy to communicate with. She gave us all the information we needed and made us feel welcome and assured. Their property was clean and as advertised, and there were no issues at all during the whole stay.

Great location and nice property

We loved the location and that we were within walking distance to the marina, restaurants, shops, etc. The grounds and pool area were clean. Waiter service was a little slow at pool and there was no music allowed except in your earbuds…food was very inexpensive though and was good quality. We would stay again and would definitely recommend!

Great experience again!

We had a couple of minor issues. We could not find any trash bags - no real big deal, we just bought some. We also had trouble with the internet early on. Maintenance personnel got it resolved but continued to have “spotty” problems. Eventually a new modem was installed that fixed the problem. All in all, response from the owners and maintenance was very good. Again, a very pleasant stay!

I can't review the exact property because about a week before our stay the condo sustained water damage and we were unable to stay there. What I can say is that Angie went absolutely above and beyond to find another condo in the same complex that we could rent for the week! I was so thankful that we were able to find another condo in the Mariana Vallarta area. Angie communicated with the condo management to make arrangements for our stay and made everything very easy for us. I chose her condo because of the wonderful reviews and I have to say, I had a great experience with her. We had a lovely week!

Shangrila is a wonderful facility and Angie’s condo is fantastic. Great balcony with view of the pool and ocean. 3 full rooms and 3 full bathrooms. Just right for 2 couples and our 2 teens. Easy access to the Marina shops and restaurants. Cab to the Malecon if you want more adventure! Highly recommend!!

Great location, great property and a great host

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angie’s property at Shangrila. The resort is quiet with amazing views and amenities. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. This unit is in a great location. With a private beach and walking distance to so many wonderful restaurants and shops. I highly recommend staying here.

Fabulous Vacation!

Our family had a wonderful vacation at the Shangri-La Condominiums. Javier and Angie were so easy to work with and Javier greeted us even when our flight was 2 hours late...with PIZZA!!!. We have 4 teens(2 girls and 2 boys) and the condo was perfect. The 3rd bedroom was a little small, but our boys didn't seem to mind it at all. The pool was great, and we loved the staff and especially the pool grill/bar. We also enjoyed the location and proximity to the marina. We will definitely go back to Puerto Vallarta and the Shangri La! Thank you Javier and Angie for opening your lovely home to us.
