Thank you for your feedback of the home in beautiful South Lake Tahoe! We're so sorry to hear that the loft area was uncomfortable during your stay. Loft spaces can be more challenging to cool, especially during the warmest part of the day, but we understand how frustrating that can be. We have inspected the in-wall A/C unit to ensure it’s working properly for future guests. Also for future guests to note, the unit has a wall-mounted air conditioning unit for summer and additional fans for comfort. Loft areas may feel warmer, but cooling solutions are in place. We also appreciate your comments regarding the sofa bed. Our team inspected the sofa bed after your departure and found that all the rear pillows are removable. Thank you for staying with us!

Debbie, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the loft was warm during your stay and that the AC wasn't performing as it should. Your stay dates were over a heat wave in Tahoe and unfortunately many AC units were having a hard time keeping up. For future guests to note, the AC was inspected to make sure no repairs are needed and it is working correctly for future stays. For future guests to note, our listings and photos are accurate and up to date. Also for future guests to note, Lakeland Village was built in 1973, almost 50 years ago. It is a fabulously unique property, as it is right on the lake, with a beautiful beach, pier, boat buoys, 2 swimming pools, hot tub, firepits, and walking to groceries and dining. Many of our guests find the potential ambient road noise a fair tradeoff for the prime location/walkability of the unit to the lake, restaurants, and grocery stores. There are no other properties like this in South Lake Tahoe, and there will never be another, due to building restrictions around the lake. We hope we can host you again soon!
