Luxury 6th Floor La Palapa Los Muertos Beach Condo

This beautiful beachfront condo was completely renovated for the 2017 season! It is located in La Palapa condominiums on the beach in one of the Zona Romantica's most iconic buildings. It is unit #602 with full western facing views of Vallarta Sunsets!

All new amenities including air conditioning and ceiling fans in the bedrooms and main room to guarantee your comfort. You can watch the sunsets and the whales (in season) from your sixth floor, large, beachfront balcony that comfortably seats seven. The panorama of the beach, ocean, pier and mountains are all in your view with plenty of tropical breezes.

The building has a beautiful rooftop pool and gazebo and iconic La Palapa Restaurant on the beach level. Guests of La Palapa receive complimentary beach service while staying with us. Within two blocks of this perfect location are everything you need for your vacation: restaurants, bars, ATMs, currency exchange, rental cars, taxi stands, spas, shops, coffee shops, farmacias, internet, juice bars, grocery stores, and more. No car is needed as you can walk to virtually everything and the taxi stand is about 50 feet from the door. There is maid service six days per week (excluding Sundays and Mexican Holidays) and the front desk is manned 24/7 for your safety and convenience.

The condo has all the extras including local fabrics, new rugs, original art, Bose Wave radio sound system, beach towels for your use, soap, hair dryers, make-up mirror, cable flat screen television and high speed Wi-Fi internet. Everything is new: Sheets, towels, dishes, silverware, pots and pans. The entire kitchen and both master and guest bathrooms are new and completely renovated. There is a purified water system for drinking water and ice from the new refrigerator. We also have a notebook for you to leave with your own recommendations for the future. To maintain this high quality, pets and children under 15 are not allowed, and smoking is only allowed on the terrace. A maximum of four people can rent the unit--no exceptions.

Amazing view excellent location

Best Condo Best location best vacation

Everything you need is within walking distance. The view from the balcony is incredible, and the pool on the roof is a great place to chill. Highly recommended and definitely be back.

Beautiful Views

We stayed at this fantastic location right on the beach with beautiful views for a week in July. The condo had great amenities and was walking distance to many awesome restaurants and shops. Eric was responsive and provided excellent information throughout our booking and stay. Looking forward to returning

Beachfront Apartment in an Ideal Location

My brother, my significant other, and I all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly during our week-long stay here. The roof has a stunning view, nice pool, and also a covered, open-air pavilion that provides shade and cool breezes. Highly recommended!

La Palapa stay to celebrate Day of the Dead

I've been to PV many, many times so I'm very knowledgeable about the area and the amenities. I've stayed in La Palapa just over 15 of my trips and I've never been disappointed. This condo was updated since I last stayed there and I loved the changes. Very comfortable and clean. I wouldn't hesitate to book back into La Palapa for my next trip.

Great location and property

It was our second holiday in that building and the location is just perfect. The unit is beautiful with all amenities. The view is spectacular from the large balcony and the pool on the 8th floor is a must. Great restaurants and bars very close. The owner is very kind. We hope to go back soon

Front and center. This property is awesome. It’s got the beach, the views, the food , it’s central to the best parts of town , it’s clean and orderly, the owner is a cool breeze to work with. I recommend this property.

Great place with an awesome view !

Well appointed condo in the heart of the Zona Romantica. Right on the beach within walking distance of many restaurants and bars. Owners Eric and Mark are great hosts making sure you have everything you need. And can be easily reached if any questions. Very comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend you book this great condo for your visit to PV !

Our stay was awesome. The condo is well stocked and very comfortable. The view from the balcony was our favorite, we had breakfast there every day. The area is very lively at night especially over the weekend so it can get loud after hours. Outside of that, we have no complaints. We will definitely come back and have already recommended to others.

The best condo in downtown PV

It was the a perfect place for us. The huge balcony faces directly to the ocean where you can spend you can spend your entire day or night to people watch. Everything was walkable from the condo. Eric was fantastic to work with. Can't wait to come back !!

Perfection!

This place was incredible. The best place we have ever stayed in PV. In the heart of the Romantic Zone, this place has everything you. Beautiful sunset, plenty of space, and a great roof top area. The building is right on the beach and has its own restaurant. The kitchen has a filtered water system. This was an incredible place to stay. We will definitely be back!

Great Condo in the Best Location

Everything about this unit was perfect. Check In was easy, staff and residents were helpful. Communication with host is top notch. Truly one of my best rental experiences ever! This location is everything!- On the beach and close to restaurants , shopping and bars. The unit itself is nicely updated with beautiful art and decor, I did not want to leave!

A wonderful condo in a great location

A wonderful and updated condo with air conditioning units in each room (a rarity!). Beautiful full view of the beach and ocean. Loved going to sleep with the sound of the waves. Excellent stay, excellent host

This condo has a gorgeous ocean view, beautiful location and everything we needed to enjoy our PV vacation. We especially appreciated Eric's helpful communications that made our travels effortless. In addition to information sent before our stay, there were clear instructions about using the appliances, TV, WiFi and more. The lobby staff are friendly and helpful, too. Couldn't have asked for more, and we look forward to staying again!

Perfect location and apartment!

My husband and I loved being in the center of the action in Zona Romantica. We could walk to the Malecon and got a private boat pick up at Los Muertos pier ! The apartment itself had the cutest Mexican art and decor we were obsessed with! We arrived with no problem and loved the view, kitchen, bed and rooftop pool! Shhhh- don’t tell anyone about this spot! Thanks again!

Lovely Stay Easter Weekend

The check in was great and desk people very friendly. Unit was sufficiently stocked. Really enjoyed the location. Lots of activity on the malecon. one issue was the reoccurring sewer gas smell that kept coming back from Master bathroom. Regularly running the shower for a few minutes got rid of the gas smell. Otherwise, we did enjoy it and the wonderful rooftop pool and met a couple owners. All very nice people. Thank you Eric and Mark

One of the best locations in PV

We've stayed at several of the La Palapa apartments over the years, and this one definitely has a premier location overlooking the beach from a nice height and just 2 flights down from the rooftop swimming pool (the reconditioned lift now goes all the way up there as well). The host was super helpful and the cleaning person was punctual friendly and efficient. Just a caution to visitors to PV, we've always felt very safe there but on this visit I got my bag stolen in broad daylight by a motorbike couple from what seemed to be a relatively safe elevated sidewalk location - so don't assume that PV is any different from other tourist locations in terms of crime!

La Palapa Condo

We love the La Palapa Condos. The building is well run, safe, and in an excellent location. The units all maintain the traditional feel and old world charm with Mexican pavers for the floors etc. Eric’s unit has a premier location including a large patio with outstanding views of the Banderas Bay and Los Muertos Beach below. It is well appointed with all the amenities of being at home… all kitchen/dining needs, TV/streaming (Netflix etc). The beds in both bedrooms are King sized and comfortable. Ceiling fans throughout as well as A/C in all rooms if needed, however, the cross breeze in the unit is wonderful and all that was needed throughout the day. There is a very helpful house manual with everything you need to know (local suggested restaurants as well) The only suggestion for improvement would be the Bluetooth sound system. We had issues staying connected to the small inside speakers/device….it would be great to have Bluetooth speakers outside on the patio where you spend most of your time, but not essential. All jn all, highly recommended and Eric is an excellent host who communicates very well. You will not be disappointed one bit.

Didn’t want to leave…

Officially my new favorite place to stay in PV. The unit is well equipped, a quick walk to everything, and relaxing nightly on the balcony watching the fireworks was lovely. Beds are comfortable as well! Pool on the rooftop is a must too. So warm.

Location is Great 👍

We loved it. The view is dynamite and entertaining. Eric is one of the most on top and efficient hosts we have dealt with using VRBO. Very impressive. Honestly we would have stayed until Christmas but our daughter was coming with her son (6) and this unit is adults only. Hint to renters; bring a pair of beach shoes and leave them at the door. Then switch into apartment shoes so sand stays outside. We never turned on the air because the cross breeze is wonderful. We met many interesting people at the LA Palapa Beach club and service was great. We laughed at ourselves because we never went farther than 2 blocks for dinner. Great place, great location. Thanks guys for opening your home to us.

This unit was just as described and the view is outstanding, they have almost everything that makes the stay just a little bit better from beach umbrella's and chairs to spices and makeup wipes. Great location too

Perfect view

We loved hearing the ocean from our place, the patio is picture perfect for our morning coffee, it was perfectly located with several restaurant and cafe options, and the bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. (We didn’t use the second bedroom so no idea how that one slept). We would stay again.

Mark and I are from Dallas TX and looked for a vacation home not far away. Puerto Vallarta is a two hour flight from DFW or 3 hour trip on Southwest with a stop in Houston. We absolutely love Puerto Vallarta. The people are so friendly (and happy) and not speaking Spanish is not a problem. The locals love having tourists there and it is safe and secure. We've traveled the world but Puerto Vallarta is now one of our favorite places!

La Palapa is right on the beach and guaranteed to never have an unobstructed view. The staff is awesome and already at your service. The location can't be beat - all of PVR is outside your doorstep.

Newly and completed renovated - everything down to the silverware is new! Sheets - towels - furniture - dishes - pots and pans - all first rate. Eric works in the hospitality industry and seems to have thought of everything. There's even a guest information book with all you need to know for your visit. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
