Relaxing space with lots to do

Close to Chattanooga, Rock City, and Ruby Falls! We loved the screened in porch looking out at the backyard. There is a basketball hoop, foose ball, ping pong table, and hot tub that offered so much fun for our family. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The owner was very attentive and quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely recommend this space to anyone!

Great communication & place

The place was very spacious and had so many activities that we were able to enjoy. Greatly appreciated the frequent communication from the homeowner as we could really tell they wanted us to have a smooth check-in and check-out and the best time we could.

Great place to stay!

A small group of us stayed here for a volleyball tournament in town - 5 adults and 3 teenagers. Property was perfect for us - the kids loved the hot tub, very large and clean. Adults enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and grilling out on the nice Blackstone grill. Owner was nice and very responsive, house is in a nice quiet wooded area. Lots of rooms, lots of beds, well stocked kitchen. We would definitely stay again - thanks!

A Magical Property Close to Everything

This was the perfect place for our multi generational family reunion. The house was clean, comfortable, and expansive. The yard was enchanting with the forest, moss, and nearby stream. I hope to return someday!

Excellent House

We took our Girl Scout troop to stay at the house and we had a blast. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. The house was perfect for the girls who enjoyed walking in the creek, playing volleyball, swinging on the swing, and hanging out on the large deck.

Wonderful property

We greatly enjoyed our girls weekend at this property. The inside offers plenty of space and is well supplied. Outside offers wonderful space with deck, hot tub(and enough towels!), and yard games. Marcie is a very attentive hostess who checked in before our arrival and during our stay. The location is excellent with easy drives for hiking and to Chattanooga. If future travels take us back to the area, I would definitely stay here again.

Family getaway

Liked the outside area. Lots of space for kids to run and play. Little disappointed because the creek was dry when we visited. House is very roomy and very well equipped. Plenty of towels without having to wash to accommodate our family of 17.

Large, spacious, clean, comfortable, sunlit house!

Very comfortable home with nice bedding, sheets, towels, dishes, etc, It is a nice property, with a beautiful yard and creek ! We were close to Rock City and downtown Chattannooga . Easy to communicate with the owner. We'll be back again.

TN-GA trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was big enough to nicely accommodate our big family of 12. Everyone had their own space and there was plenty to do with the ping pong, foosball, basketball and volleyball. We used the nice hot tub at night or in the early am. Deck and blackstone grill were great. We enjoyed the small town of St. Elmo close by with restaurants, ice cream and an escape room. We also enjoyed Ruby Falls and a few things ga in Chattanooga. Great place to stay for all that not too far away.

Wedding weekend

The place is large and roomy enough to accomodate many. We were there for my sons wedding. There was plenty of space and bathrooms for 8 adults and 3 children to get ready for the wedding. There were plenty of activities to keep us from gettting bored during our down time. The kids especially loved the ping pong. The house was well furnished with everything we could need. I highly recommend this home.

Too many rules, no pets at all! she said but neighbors dog was over every day till my daughter took her home. No music or anyone being loud but the neighbors children screamed, as children will do. owner is on site wayyy too much.Weber grill was falling apart, rusted outdishwasher was filthy & moldy. ceramic tile on island moldy but we cleaned that & the dishwasher. House was spacious and accommodated many. I also thought there was a discount involved but did not receive it

Great stay

We had a family of 17 including adults and small children . There were plenty of beds with wonderful mattresses . The outside was. Wet user friendly ….it had things for adults and children . Loved the hot tub in the very large deck , loved the screened in porch for playing games at night as well as eating with no bugs . The porch sits on a beautiful wooded lot…feels like you’re out in nature. The house is great, if I am honest I would say some Things in the house needed some TLC but overall the house was great. It was clean and safe which was important to us. Chattanooga is such a beautiful city and our stay on Lookout Mountain was awesome !!

High school friends of over 50 years gather together for fun and fellowship

This home is in a beautiful setting....moss covered back yard, with birds singing and a creek running. There is a fire pit for roasting marshmallows although a little rain prevented our using it. The house was comfortable for the 14 of us, lots of places to congregate. Marcie was available in case we had any questions or needs and gave us suggestions of things to do in the area. When we went to see the sunset, we ran into a hip hop artist, Mad Salvy, who was excited to have these 75 year olds join in the dance. A memorable and happy stay at this home!

Spacious, quiet, and great amenities!

We used this venue for a family reunion. The house is spacious and well-arranged, and very clean. There are rooms where you can all be together in a sizeable group, but also places where people can get away for quiet reading, etc. The location lends itself to a very peaceful vacation. It's very quiet... virtually no road noise or noise from neighbors (can't actually see any neighbors from the house!) which makes for a very relaxing time. There is a really large hot tub and it works perfectly. Large deck, outdoor grill, etc. We had a really great time and would definitely come back. The owners are kind and take great care to make sure that your stay is a good one. Everyone in our party had a wonderful time! Highly recommended!

Christmas 2023

The accommodations worked very well for the whole family with 19 of us there. The house and property very clean. Found rules, warnings and directions posted just about everywhere which seems a little overkill. It would be helpful to have a notebook or something with these items, plus a checkoff list for checking out. If you go bring garbage bags they only supply one in each basket. The hot tub was very nice and the game room in the garage got lots of use.

Fantastic family and friends get away, fully stocked!

The house was impressively stocked with games, grilling tools, and kitchen everything. There was not anything we did not have, that we needed. The house is located in a very nice, quiet community and has a pretty well stocked dollar general just down the street for quick pick up items. There are tons of options for entertainment nearby and Chatt is 20-30 mins away. Host was quick to respond and very helpful. The creek down the hill was calm and relaxing. The porch, fire, hot tub and patio were all great, especially for the range of kids we had (9 total, ages from 1 - 13). Also, we enjoyed worshipping at 1st pres in downtown Chatt. We are already talking about coming back next year. Thank you!

Perfect for social distancing

We had an absolutely wonderful time, despite all the COVID-19 craziness. Very clean!!! This is the perfect property for family bonding, time in nature, bonfire with S’mores. There is also a hot tub, ping pong table and volleyball net (and balls, etc.) We hiked trails and waded through creeks - completely and totally alone. So peaceful! The owner was beyond accommodating - checking in with us via text, but not too much - just enough to let us know she was available for any needs or questions. I cannot imagine a better place to get away and spend time alone. This was very good for the mental health of our family. We will definitely be back!

Majestic mountain vacation

My wife and I, along with our three children their spouses and our 11 grandkids had an amazing four day trip to Lookout mountain and the surrounding area. Our home, easily held our crew of 19 and the amenities at the property were impressive to say the least. From the natural beauty of the outdoors, the moss lawn, the incredible jacuzzi, a sprawling deck with outdoor and screened porch seating we were enthralled with the beauty of nature and thrill of comfort. The inside of the property was no less appealing with comfortable seating, large dining space and a kitchen filled with all of the conveniences of our own home. A babbling brook on the property and both a gas and wood fire pit all provided comfort and rest during our stay. We had the comforts of multiple TV's, internet and endless hot water, but spent most of our time enjoying the Cloudland Canyon, Ruby Falls and forested properties that we were immersed in. A fantastic vacation trip and incredible hosts who sought to meet our every need. I highly recommend this getaway retreat.

check out process not very pleasant

Owner was very strict about cleaning. With large groups it becomes difficult to reorganize everything as is specially when we are charged for cleaning separately. Check out time should be at least 11 am as the property is meant to serve large groups mostly and with limited bathrooms it becomes difficult to pack everything , clean up everything and leave by 10 am. If we do the cleaning previous night then we can’t enjoy our time off the previous night.
