Wonderful fall vacay with friends

This property was fabulous! The den and kitchen were spacious and great for hanging out. There were three couples and we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The location was ideal--very close to plenty of nice restaurants and the sights we wanted to see. We loved our stay at Mountain Modern!

Sisters Get Together

My sisters and I had a wonderful and relaxing get together at this lovely house! It was spacious and had everything we needed and more. The view of the mountains and close proximity to Garden of the gods was icing on the cake. We would definitely like to plan another stay during the winter to enjoy the view of the snow capped mountains. I highly recommend this house. You will not be disappointed!

Great house for families

Property and house were perfect for our family reunion. Great location, very convenient to everything. House was stocked with the necessities and then some. Wonderful art work is tastefully displayed. Estee is prompt and very responsive with her communication. Would highly recommend.

Great Location for Families with Kids

-Well equipped kitchen (including good quality pots/pans, gas grill outside, and variety of herbal teas) -Excellent location for groups with tweens/teens thanks to the park and baseball field across the street; peaceful and charming neighborhood perfect for after dinner walks. -Proximity to Garden of the Gods as well Manitou Springs shopping area -Doors, floors, and some of the beds were rather creaky so it was obvious when people moved around, but this could be seen as a benefit for groups supervising kids across three floors of living spaces—wasn’t a big deal for our group. -Fascinating selection of books on the shelves in the den, ranging from Steinbeck novels and fly fishing guides to various bibles and children’s picture books on Creationism. -Host Estee was sunny and responsive, thoughtfully sending us a heads up when various Amazon packages arrived bc a guest has sent them ahead of their stay.

Perfect family house

Stayed on the house with extended family. The house was in a great location that allowed the kids plenty of space to run around. The house was also fairly close to restaurants and grocery stores. I would definitely stay at this property again!

From upon check-in to this home, Estee and Rob ensured that we were well taken care of. Being located across from a huge park with kiddos was such a great thing for our family. We highly recommend you come check our Colorado Springs in this home!

Super great location with a wonderful park across the street. The house had plenty of space and amenities. The owners are wonderful communicators. We rent alot of houses on VRBO and this one from owner to property is one of the best. Thanks for a wonderful cap to our Colorado vacation!!!!

Very pleased with this rental! We were met by the owner of the property when we arrived, she had made sure everything was in place and up to her standards for our stay. She was extremely thorough, organized and made lots of recommendations for activities, restaurants and other helpful local information for us. The property was in an excellent location. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful park across the road, overlooking the mountains. Also located within walking distance of Garden of the Gods! The backyard was set up for kids to play along with a raised garden with fresh herbs available to the renter! Inside of the home was beautifully decorated with a gourmet chef's kitchen with 2 dishwashers and a double wall oven. We had plenty of room for eating and sleeping for our party of 10. Excellent renter, excellent property, excellent location. Would DEFINITELY rent from her again!

Absolutely wonderful!!

We will be all time and time again in the future. This was an absolutely perfect family getaway in large part due to having such a great VRBO. Estee is a very hospitable and has made the property fully equipped with everything a guest could need. I noticed there were plenty of serving wear for larger groups too. I can’t say enough positive things about this property and the owners :)

Great location, everything you need and outstanding owner accessibility

We loved our stay. Estee was available quickly when we had questions and the location was great. The views on the front porch were amazing and the access to Garden of the Gods trails was super easy. We loved the layout and the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. If we want to come back to this area, we will rent here again.

Beautiful and Family friendly

We loved staying here! The house is comfortable, the beautiful windows have a great view and the location was ideal for getting out to outdoor activities. We had an age range of baby to grandma and everyone loved it and slept well! We would definitely love to come back during the summer to enjoy open windows!

AMAZING!

I can’t write enough about the house!! It’s so beautiful with amazing views!! We stayed at Christmas time and walked into the house to Christmas music playing and beautiful decorations all around!! It felt like home the minute we stepped in!! My family of five had plenty of room and we all look forward to staying again in the near future!!

Beautiful House, Wonderful Stay

Wonderful home in a great location. Kitchen spacious and well stocked. Beds comfortable, too. Owners put much care and time into their property, and they make guests feel welcome and at home. Truly a beautiful place!

Fantastic

This house was amazing inside and out. Our group of 11 including 6 kids (4-7) had a fantastic time at this house. There was plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen is so well stocked. There are games and kid toys along with a great park/green space literally steps away. The outside fire pit was neat, and the S’mores supplies they left were a sweet added bonus. The location is great to get to so many of the attractions you are there to see. I highly recommend this property and would love to return.

Spacious and Bright

This house is the ideal open concept house - it has great space both indoor and out and our party of 8 was comfortable in every area of it from the bedrooms to the living space and kitchen to the back yard and across the street at the beautiful park. The house provided an excellent location to visit the sites we wanted to see. Owners were friendly and responsive.

Pleasant Valley was once the summer campsite of Ute Indians. It later became a place prospectors gathered and bought supplies before heading up Ute Pass to the gold mining claims at higher altitudes. The Pleasant Valley neighborhood as we know it was established in the late 1950's and was built in a valley that was once part of the Rock Ledge Ranch. It is a wonderful slice of Americana, at the base of Pike's Peak.
Other things to note:
We can provide a grocery run if you contact us early enough! Arrive with a fridge full of goodness already stocked! Additional pack and play and baby gates are available.
