Boka vårt hus för examen och njut av en semester i historiska Gamla Colorado stad medan du är här! Bra utomhusliv. Några lokala attraktioner: Broadmoor Hotel, Red Rock Canyon, Patty Jewett golfbana, Gamla Colorado City och centrala Colorado Springs.

Det ligger inom gångavstånd till affärer, barer, restauranger, vandring, mountainbike och många turistattraktioner belägen på västra sidan av Vackra Colorado Springs. Vi har en superren och renoverad hem med spektakulär utsikt över foten, Pikes Peak och the Garden of the gudarna.

Det finns en solig och ljus uteplats för att besöka och njuta av vårt fantastiska väder och 320 solskinsdagar. Det finns en skuggad täckt uteplats på baksidan av hemmet, precis utanför köket där du kan grilla en biff, starta en brusande eld i utomhuspeisen eller bara sitta, koppla av och besöka. Vi har ett bordtennisbord och några hästskor.

Det finns 3 sovrum belägna på huvudnivån, master-sviten har sitt eget privata badkar och en queen size-säng. Ett annat sovrum har en dubbelsäng och det andra har 2 enkelsängar. Det finns ett komplett badrum tvärs över hallen. Det finns en retro modern "vibe" från mitten av århundradet i det ljusa och öppna vardagsrummet och köket med en öppen spis.

Källaren har en våt bar, en storskärms-TV, ett bordtennisbord, ett kortbord och ett 4: e sovrum med en queen size-säng och två enkelsängar, perfekt för en familj med ett par barn att "ställa upp" tillsammans. Det finns ett trevligt stort ombyggt badrum med stor dusch.

Det finns också en tvättmaskin och torktumlare i full storlek, och det finns gott om parkering också!

Huset ligger högt upp och en kulle och ligger på en av de trevligaste gatorna i Gamla Colorado stad.

Det är en 45 minuters vacker bilresa till Cripple Creek, resa 50 mil längre västerut över några av de vackraste Colorado Mountain passerna och du är, så kommer du till Summit County. Skidstäderna Brekcenridge, Keystone, Frisco, Dillon och Copper Mountain är fantastiska platser att åka skidor på vintern och njuta av bergens gästfrihet och lugn som finns i överflöd.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre och Fiddlers Green-konsert finns i Denver i närheten och är värd för några av världens bästa musiker.

Retro Room for Everyone!

The property was exactly as described. My family thought the retro decor and furnishings were super fun. 4 bedrooms with SEVEN beds!! Loved the backyard fireplace, hot tub, and hang out space. Wonderful location just blocks from Old Colorado City and minutes from Garden of the Gods and Old Manitou Springs. We frequently had deer in the yard and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Fantastic communication from Miss Nancy. Overall a great stay!

Great Get-Away Spot

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for our planned activities…we went to Garden of the Gods several times since it was so close. The hot tub was relaxing after a day on the go. The view of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods from the front yard was amazing. The bedrooms were perfect for our group’s size. We fixed most of our meals at the house. The weather in July was perfect for the outside table, as there was not a good indoor eating arrangement for our group of 6 adults and one teen. Another note, the best bathroom is in the basement….the Master bath is convenient, but pretty tiny. Our host, Nancy was still at the house when we arrived and gave us a tour. She also called and checked in halfway through our stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Views & Location!!

We wanted to stay another week!Space for family to hang but also space to spread out and look at the mountains, finished each night in the hot tub star gazing, location was amazing to all attractions, can’t say enough good things.

Family Vacation

Great Colorado Spring location

Good property in Colorado Springs with plenty of room for our family. Plenty of room for our group, and good set-up. Enjoyed the spa. Retro theme for certain. Kitchen missing some basics (limited silverware), and no dining room table in doors for a larger group (8 of us). Great views from the front yard.

Wonderful Family Time and Amazing View

I don't know which was the best part: view from the front window, hot tub, location or plenty of room for everyone. All of the above!My husband and I celebrated the holidays with our three adult children at this wonderful home. We used all the amenities - streaming, ping pong, grill, outdoor fireplace for s'mores, outdoor tv and of course the hot tub. Plenty of room to spread out and lots of spaces to come together. We cooked in for several meals and ate out at local restaurants - easy walking distance. So close to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak and more. The view from the front picture window is just amazing. The daily visiting deer were a treat. And the host is perfect! Very friendly, not intrusive at all, and quick responses to the couple of questions we had. Highly recommend this property for families and group get-togethers.

Perfect house in perfect location!

My family of adult children and I stayed here for a weekend visit. It was like walking back in time, in a good way! The decor was very retro 70/80’s and very cool! Accommodations were comfortable and there was a TON of space! We enjoyed games in the downstairs, and watching football and using the hot tub in the backyard. The location was perfect for visiting Garden of the Gods, the Cheyanne Zoo, and walking around the wonderful town on Manitou Springs. Wish we had more time! Nancy was a great host, communicating throughout the checkin and checkout process. Will definitely be back next time we are in town!

Great Girls Trip!

I stayed here with 6 of my friends from high school. Since we are all 62, it was so fun to reminisce about the past and compare furnishings to those we grew up with. Having so many beds was great as no one had to share one. And many enjoyed the hot tub and we closed out our last night with a fire and s'mores, and were able to watch football outside also. Could not get any better than that!

The best place to stay

This location was the very best! Central to USAFA, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, and most of Colorado Springs. The house had plenty of space with lots of things to do when you were not out doing things. Especially enjoyed drinking coffee out on front patio looking at the peak! Would 100% stay here again

Best family vacation ever

Our only regret with this stay is that we couldn’t extend trip because our boys were leaving for collage. This house is the ultimate vacation house ! We went out everyday day to our excursions all so close and came back cooked out in backyard and watched Netflix’s as as a family in the outstanding backyard. Only one rainy night where I best my husband in ping pong and poker!! This is your vacation house! We enjoyed every morning having coffee and breakfast in front yards admiring Mountain View’s . Again my last regret I could stay there longer or buy property. Nancy checked in but we were so taken care of my only regret didn’t get to meet her in person!

Family Trip 2024

We had a wonderful week at this house. It was in the perfect location to visit Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and Cañon City. We walked to the Old Colorado City strip from the house a few times to walk the shops and eat dinner. Nancy was an excellent host and the property was exactly as described. Would stay here again and will recommend this place to friends.

Fantastic house in great location

We had a wonderful stay at the Retro Retreat. It reminded me of when I used to stay at my grandma's house; I felt immediately comfortable. The house is clean and cozy (my grandma also had a rotary phone!). The kids loved ping pong, the hot tub and were impressed by the large outdoor TV. We ate dinner outdoors on the patio and took in the amazing views. The location is perfect. It was so close to all the things we had planned: Garden of the Gods, Manitou springs, Pikes Peak and the Flying W Ranch (I highly recommend the chuck wagon meal there). It's also within walking distance of restaurants and shops in Old Colorado City. Nancy was amazing and allowed us to check in early, which was so helpful after a long morning of travel from the East Coast. We were able to get settled, then walked to lunch. The only downside was we didn't book enough days! It was the perfect place to start our CO vacation visiting family.

Had a fantastic time! 3 Grills to choose from, hot tub, and ping pong, glasses of wine, and comfortable beds....what else do you want. Very well stocked...had everything we needed and wonderful communication. Highly recommend!

Amazing location

The location is perfect. Walkable to shops, restaurants and bars. Short drive to Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak Cog Railway. The amazing retro home included a Rotary Phone. :). Very clean, great views from the front. Visits from mule deer while sitting on the front patio.

Great place to stay and enjoy Colorado City and the area!

We had a great time and really enjoyed the property. The location was perfect for our adventures and the house had wonderful spaces to gather as a group of 8 or in smaller groupings (including "seniors," and a 5 and 7 yr old). The inside and outside living spaces gave us lots of options, including hot tub, fireplace, dinner on the patio, and even views of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. We had plenty of parking in a quiet and nice area with a cul de sac street. The accommodations are pictured accurately and Nancy was easy to work with. We'd plan to stay here again if we return for another family gathering to Colorado Springs and area. I highly recommend this VRBO!

Fun Vibe

We spent one night in this cute home as we traveled between national parks with our 4 young adult kids. Everyone in our group had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the entertainment it offered from ping pong to the outdoor space with the hot tub and corn hole. It was a great break from our strenuous hiking and skiing. The host was gracious and communication was excellent!

Great Mid Century Modern in good location

My son was married at Garden of the Gods and it worked out great. The Garden was less than 10 minutes from this house. The house is unique and we had a great time staying there!

Spring fling 24

This place is charming, spacious and well equipped. We made use of the hot tub daily and enjoyed the patio fireplace. The large tv downstairs made for great family viewing. The ping pong table was a big hit on the daily schedule as was bananagram! Something you don’t see much of was the live plants…so big points there too. Can’t beat the view of Pike’s Peak every morning with coffee either. We had a fantastic time 👍

We have a huge family with 8 adult children and their spouses and 18 grandchildren and one great grandson. Our family is a blast! Al is a former Airforce Academy Boxing Coach and Airforce retiree. Nancy is veteran real estate licensee and investor. We live very nearby and love engaging with visitors from all over the world. We'll be happy to come over and visit while you're here!
