Once a working Wind Bell Factory, this unique property blends modern comfort with touches of its creative past â from the original metal gate and decorative yard pieces to warm, inviting spaces designed for connection and relaxation. Perfect for family gatherings, business retreats, or group getaways, the home offers plenty of space to spread out, unwind, and make lasting memories.

Originally used as a wind bell factory, this large home has many one-of-a-kind features that will make your stay both relaxing and memorable. Step inside to be inspired by the history and majesty of Colorado Springs and enjoy making memories with your family that will last a lifetime.
HOUSE:
Designed for Your Comfort - Keep warm and cozy in the winter with central forced-air heat on the main floor and individually controlled electric baseboard heat on the second floor. We install window AC units in all bedrooms and living areas to help maintain a comfortable stay during the warmer months.
â¶ Bedrooms & Bathrooms â¶
Each of the five bedrooms features a king bed, plush linens, and thoughtful details to ensure a comfortable stay. The main floor primary suite includes an ensuite bathroom with a rainfall shower, while the second floor offers four additional king bedrooms. One upstairs bedroom features its own ensuite bath, and another opens onto a private balcony â the perfect spot for morning coffee or quiet evening relaxation. Two additional shared bathrooms provide ample space for everyone, including one with a European soaking tub and rainfall shower for a touch of spa-inspired comfort.

The main living room offers a bright, open gathering space with a large sectional and full-size sofa, perfect for movie nights or game-day viewing on the 75â Smart TV. The homeâs fast Wi-Fi supports streaming, remote work, or casual browsing from anywhere. Upstairs, guests can enjoy a second lounge area that doubles as a game space, complete with a foosball table, board games, bar-top seating, and a small Smart TV with Hulu Live. With multiple areas to relax and socialize, thereâs always room for everyone to find their spot.

The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped to make cooking at home enjoyable and convenient. It features a gas range with double ovens, a full-size refrigerator and freezer, microwave, toaster, blender, and Crock-Pot. Coffee lovers can choose between a drip coffee maker, Keurig, or French press. Cabinets are stocked with cookware, bakeware, mixing bowls, and utensils, along with dinnerware and glassware for groups of twelve or more. Two large dining spaces make mealtime easy â the indoor dining room sits beneath a unique ceiling mural of Pikes Peak, while the outdoor patio dining area offers shaded seating for twelve surrounded by fresh mountain air.

Step outside to enjoy Coloradoâs sunshine in the private fenced backyard and patio. The space includes a propane firepit with lounge seating, a gas grill for outdoor cooking, and a large picnic-style dining table that seats twelve. String lighting and shaded areas create a relaxed, inviting atmosphere for meals, gatherings, or quiet evenings under the stars.
â¶ Laundry & Essentials â¶
The laundry room includes two washers and two dryers, making it easy to keep up with laundry during longer stays or family visits. Starter detergents and cleaning supplies are provided for guest use.

Guests have access to two private off-street parking spaces in the alley behind the home, as well as free street parking directly in front.

Five Kings Haus is comfortable year-round, with central heating on the main floor and individually controlled baseboard heat upstairs. Each bedroom and living area also includes a window A/C unit during warmer months to keep the home cool and comfortable.
â¶ Nearby Attractions â¶
The homeâs central location makes it easy to explore everything Colorado Springs has to offer. Guests can walk to the Olympic Training Center, Memorial Hospital, or Shooks Run Trail and park, which features a playground and the 50/50 coffee shop. Downtown restaurants and shops are just a few minutes away, while Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and Pikes Peak are all within a short drive. Whether youâre here to explore, relax, or reconnect, Five Kings Haus offers the perfect balance of comfort, character, and convenience.
â¶ Guest Access â¶
Guests have full access to all rooms and spaces inside the home, including the kitchen, dining areas, living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, and laundry room. Outside, youâre welcome to enjoy the front yard, back patio, firepit, BBQ grill, and outdoor dining areaâperfect for relaxing or gathering with family and friends.
For parking, there are two off-street spaces available in the alley behind the home, along with free street parking directly in front.
Several locked storage areas are not accessible to guests, including a small closet near the front door, the side shed near the firepit seating, and two workshop/garage buildings located at the east end of the property near the alley.
The southeast workshop building is used for storage and maintenance access and may be visited occasionally during daytime hours by a cleaner or technician. These visits are brief and limited to the exterior area only; the team will not need to access the main home during your stay.
Other things to note
â¶ Respect for neighbors & quiet hours â¶
Five Kings Haus is located in an established residential neighborhood with long-time neighbors nearby. We welcome guests who are looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay rather than a party house. Please keep outdoor noise to a reasonable level at all times and especially after 10pm, and ensure children respect neighboring properties and boundaries. If youâre planning loud gatherings or late-night outdoor activity, this may not be the right home for your stay.
â¶ Noise monitoring device â¶
To help maintain a peaceful environment, we use a privacy-safe noise monitoring device that is endorsed by VRBO. It does not record audio or conversations; it only measures overall noise levels (in decibels) so we can ensure the home is being used for residential purposes and not large parties or events.
â¶ Smoking â¶
Smoking is allowed outdoors only and never inside the home. Please use designated outdoor areas and proper receptacles for cigarette butts, and keep doors and windows closed while smoking outside to keep the home fresh. Absolutely no smoking, vaping, or open flames (candles, incense) are allowed indoors. A $250 deep-cleaning fee will apply if evidence of indoor smoking is found.
â¶ Firepit & grill â¶
The home features an outdoor propane firepit and gas grill for guest use. Check any posted local fire restrictions before using them. Please follow all posted instructions, use these appliances only as designed, and never add wood, charcoal, lighter fluid, or any other fuel to the firepit or grill. Always ensure the burner controls are turned completely off and flames are fully out before leaving the area or going inside.
â¶ Pets â¶
This is a pet-free home, and weâre not able to host pets during reservations. Please select one of our pet-friendly properties if you plan to travel with animals. (VRBOâs policies regarding service animals still apply.)
â¶ Additional fees â¶
If youâd like to request a guaranteed early check-in or late checkout, please message us in advance for pricing and availability. Any additional fees help cover the extra cleaning time or scheduling adjustments needed to accommodate special requests.
â¶ Who you may see on the property â¶
Two detached workshop/garage buildings are located at the east end of the property near the alley and are reserved for owner and operations storage. These, along with a small locked storage closet near the front door and the locked side shed by the firepit seating, are not accessible to guests. In rare cases, a cleaner or maintenance team member may access the southeast workshop during daytime hours for property upkeep. These visits are brief, and we aim to provide notice when possible.
â¶ Rental agreement â¶
After your reservation is confirmed, youâll receive a short rental agreement to review and sign. This document mirrors the terms already agreed to through VRBO but is required as part of the propertyâs local permit and compliance. Completing it promptly helps ensure your booking remains in good standing with the city.
