Tucked away i en lugn bostadsgata, men mindre än en kilometer från sjön, vandring, marknader och mer, är Timber Wolf Lodge en semesteruthyrning som verkligen erbjuder något för alla i familjen.

Med en delad nivå, omvänd planlösning, är den huvudsakliga vardagsrummet i denna fyra sovrum hemma på övervåningen. Det ljuvliga, ombyggda köket är utrustat med ett termador gasområde, vinkylare, och slingrar runt baren och står öppen för det stora rummet för att göra socialt medan du lagar en vind. Vardagsrummet är mysigt och ett fönsterdäte erbjuder extra sittplatser, eller gör en perfekt plats att curl upp med en bok. Master sviten är också på denna våning, utrustad med en liten TV och privat däck.

Nedervåningen hittar du ett andra vardagsrum med en liten tv, gasspis och hylla fylld med spel och böcker. De tre rummen är också på denna våning.

OM OMRÅDET

Ligger halvvägs mellan Homewood och Meek's Bay längs Lake Tahoe West Shore, hittar du Tahoma, en lugn och quintessential Tahoe stad. En sann flykt från det hektiska tempot i stadslivet, erbjuder Tahoma tillgång till pittoreska stränder, närliggande vandrings- och cykelvägar och den äldsta baren och restaurangen i Tahoe.

Under sommarmånaden, besök den offentliga stranden på Chamber's Landing, mindre än en 10 minuters cykeltur eller bara en tre minuters bilresa från ditt hem. Sandstranden ligger bredvid Chambers Landing Bar and Grill, eller slutar på Tahoma PDQ-marknaden och plockar upp en picknick lunch på väg till sjön. Venture söderut till Sugar Pine Point State Park, igen mindre än tio minuter med bil eller cykel, för att njuta av sandstränder, vandringsleder, fiske och ett picknickområde.

Under skidsäsongen, bara några minuter från Homewood Mountain Resort. Eller reser bara tjugofem till Squaw Valley och Alpine Meadows, två av de främsta Tahoe skidområdena. En enda hissbiljett ger tillgång till båda orterna, och Squaw / Alpine Express erbjuder mellan bergstransporter var 20-30 minuter.

Good but not great

Nice house, but not above and beyond. House supply’s were very basic. No extra amenities. Seating was lacking. House supply’s were very basic. Would be a good house at a lower price point. Houses at this price range normally offer a higher quality experience.

Large modern home

This is our second Christmas trip with family to this home. We love it and will likely be back. Large open upstairs w modern kitchen. Good downstairs den. Washer/dryer, large garage, 2 gas fireplaces (useful when power went out during a big snow dump). Highly recommend. Only complaint, and this is minor - for the price, the management company could provide some extra towels, soap, TP, garbage bags, a broom, and perhaps a few spices. We had to purchase all those during our 2 week stay.

Beautiful Home

This home is beautiful, very spacious, great kitchen with updated appliance's. Unfortunately, the pots and pans and cooking utensils leave something to be desired. Not one cookie sheet. The non stick pans all have scratches. Very unsafe. Everything seems a bit sparse. Only one couch in the family room, yes it's comfortable, but we had 6 people in there and people had to sit on dining room chairs. Bathrooms were nice and had great water pressure. Although the giant shower head in the master uses all the hot water. This house needs something fun. Corn hole to play in the back yard, a hot tub. Something for the very expensive price. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Good not great

Big house that comfortably slept 8 people. Nice kitchen for cooking and entertaining. Seems like this place could easily be 5 stars with a little bit of effort, but can’t give it that rating at the moment. A few issues: - Broken blinds leading to back patio - Heat stuck at a certain temp and would not rise above (had to use the space heaters in every room) - Upstairs fireplace did not work - Not enough towels for 8 people (everyone should at least get a towel!) - No hand soap in bathrooms Management did offer us a late check out when we asked due to our troubles, so have to credit them there. These fixes all seem straightforward - assuming they get addressed, I’d recommend staying here.

Great place! Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is in great shape, very clean, located in a quiet neighborhood, and was spacious for our party of 6. The kitchen has very high-end appliances so we enjoyed cooking most of our meals at the house. My only suggestion would be to include instructions on how to work the anti-bear mat and wires surrounding the house. Perhaps we missed receiving the instructions, but it would great if they were included with all the other info located on the countertop upon arrival. Overall, highly recommend this property and would rent again.

Timber Wolf Lodge

This is a fabulous Air B&B. It's a little more costly but so worth it. It is new, spacious and beautiful which makes your stay at the Lake even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this location and have enjoyed working with the Tahoe Getaways staff.

The house was not provided items per the contract- there was NO dish soap, NO laundry soap, and a half used roll of toilet paper in each bathroom- in violation of the contract. In addition the minimal amount of towels should have included a bath mat. As the contract mentions having a tub and possibly slipperiness, bath maya should have been provided. Finally, there was a call about an altercation with a neighbor(s) down the street. The call did not acknowledge at all what the neighbor did and it was very clear to me that the “witness” was the rude person who was verbally abuso e to my sons. I'm pretty sure he didn't mention that after my son slowed his car down- as requested by this person- he yelled go back to the Fuc#%^* Bay his wife then screamed something similar. This in front of their child. My older son responded and they walked into the house- the man yelled “you're all just rich fuc%^*€ pricks.” I didn't appreciate the tone of the call. I've rented homes at Chamberlands and Tahoma for more than30 years and have owned homes in Incline and Dollar Point and Capitola. I would never leave a call like that implying that the adult renter is ignorant and is disrespectful- without having any background information. It's very clear this year any bad blood and anger toward renters is way worse than it ever has been. Tahoma is more known for having residents unhappy about having ANY renters- whether well behaved or not. I'm sure you're aware of this. We won't be renting though this entity again

We loved our stay here, we stayed here once before in the winter, and were happy to come back. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed, beds were comfortable, and the kids loved the spacious backyard.

Greatly nested in the woods in a super quiet area, perfect for kids. Still close enough to the lake, hikes and biking lanes. Modern and clean home with plenty of natural light and a large cozy living room. Great communication and responsiveness from owner/agency before, during and after the stay. The only minus: not enough amenities given the price: missing towels, actual vacuum cleaner and basic cooking supplies.

Amazing stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
