Dollar Point Familj Retreat är i ett fantastiskt läge bara en kort promenad (0,2 miles) från Dollar Point privata sandstrand på norra stranden av Lake Tahoe. Det filtreras sjöutsikt och är perfekt för familjen semester med fyra sovrum och två badrum. Dollarn Point Området är mycket populärt på grund av det vackra privat strand, stor pool, och 2 uppsättningar av tennisbanor alla ligger bara två miles från Tahoe City. Inom en 5-20 minuters bilresa från semester boende du hittar fantastiska restauranger, shopping, skidområden i världsklass som Squaw Valley och Alpine Meadows och golfbanor i världsklass på The Resort at Squaw Creek. Vardagsrummet har en vedeldad gaspanna, designmöbler och en 46 "Sony LCD och Play Station 3 / Blue Ray DVD-spelare. I vardagsrummet öppnar sig en stor altan som har inrättats för uteservering och grillning på gasen Weber grill.

Köket är mycket välutrustat, för dem som gillar att laga mat, komplett med espressomaskin och Calphalon köksredskap. Det finns också en bardisk med plats för 3 och är ett bra ställe att hålla kocken företaget och njuta av ett glas vin. Den bifogade Matsalen rymmer upp till 10 och är den perfekta platsen att koppla av med familj och vänner.

Det finns en badtunna på bakgården, och huset har en ovanlig mängd sekretess på grund av grönt bälte på ena sidan. Huset ligger på en mycket lugn gata, ett kvarter från den privata stranden, tennisbanor och brygga. Utvecklingen pool och klubbhus är ungefär en halv mil bort.

Bara några minuter från hemmet finns enastående cykling på miles av asfalterade cykelvägar som är separerade från vägarna och gå ner västra stranden samt Squaw Valley och Alpine Meadows. Om du föredrar något mer äventyrliga finns miles av stigar mountainbike i närheten.

Skidområdena Squaw Valley och Alpine Meadows är 12-15 minuter bort. Northstar är ca 20 minuter bort.

Great location, great Tahoe home!

We enjoyed our stay for a ski trip in Lake Tahoe! Debbie was a great host and super helpful. The home also well stocked with amenities. We’ll be back!

Spring break family ski trip

Skied nine days @Palisades and this was an excellent place to come back to! Hot tub was wonderful, kitchen fully appointed, plenty of TP, tissues, paper towels. Debbie was extremely attentive and helpful with instant replies. Views from all windows were beautiful as was the neighborhood. Great location for Tahoe City and Palisades.

Great location in a beautiful area

I was traveling with a group of friends on an annual ski trip to the area. We loved the location and the spacious accommodations of the property. The host was very attentive to our needs and we appreciated the plentiful supplies provided (kitchen, bath, etc.). This is a great property for a large group looking for a nice place to stay at a good price point.

Magical family holiday weekend in the snow

We again stayed in this comfortable, well-appointed and perfectly sited mountain cabin home to play in the snow for President's Day weekend. My three grandchildren delighted in staying in the bunk bed room together, while their parents and I were very comfortable in our respective bedrooms (mine en suite). Great views, great kitchen, large living room for games, movies, reading and hanging out. Woke to fresh snow for outdoor fun: sledding, snowball fights, snowman building. Welcome hot tub. Short walk to the lake for shoreline walks and stunning views. A perfect, relaxing, and fun time in a lovely home!

Wonderful Tahoe Getaway

Our stay was amazing, as was our host. This cozy property sleeps ten and comes prepared with all the amenities of home. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishwear/glasswear, pots, pans, linens, etc. There’s even a drawer full of spices and seasonings. We had everything we needed to set a beautiful Thanksgiving table and cook dinner for 7. Additionally, the hot tub is great and the area is calm and serene, but with restaurants and snow activities nearby. We had a great stay!

Amazing property close to the beach!

Our group of friends had an excellent stay at this property. It was very clean and well equipped for cooking and relaxing. The house is very close to the lake and has views of the lake and mountains through the trees. We would stay here again!

Beautiful Tahoe Home

Had a great ski weekend here! The house was well stocked with all we needed. The hot tub was in great shape. Our kids had a great time playing in the backyard sledding. Debbie (the owner) was super responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous fun in the snow

3 generations enjoyed our winter getaway in this comfortable home with all the amenities and plenty of room for all. Fun in the snow, short walk to the shoreline, hot tub, games, cozy evenings with a fire. Fully equipped kitchen, 4 spacious and well-furnished bedrooms. We’ll be back!

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. I’m total we had five guests and there was enough room and felt comfortable. The living room is nice and we enjoyed watching movies at night to relax.The bedrooms are nice and beds are comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub! A lot of great restaurants and shops are located within a few minutes drive.

June week in Tahoe

Beautiful setting and great location! Quiet neighborhood with partial view of the lake and mountains. Short drive to Tahoe City. Hot tub is great and seats a bunch. We had 2 families of 4 stay comfortably for a week. Nice deck and grill. Short walk to bakery for breakfast items and coffee, also a 7-11 within a mile.

Great place for our group to stay

House was very cute. Great place for a group stay, neighborhood is beautiful. Location is perfect. The hosts where super easy to communicate with. Love the fireplace at night for all of us to gather and relax. Hot tub was a great plus after a long skiing, kitchen was well stocked and upgraded. Nice to have a washer and dryer as well. Access to the garage helped with storing our ski equipment and snow boards. Great place to stay!

Family Labor Day getaway

Debbi was amazing excellent communication and prompt response time. I would give this place 10 stars. Our family couldn’t of had a better time. This place is absolutely lovely, cozy and very inviting with lots of room. Close to the lake with lovely views. The fire place is beautiful kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Can not wait to go back and stay again. Hard to leave and return to real life.

Beautiful house!

It was without a doubt a great experience, the house is very nice, cozy, we felt at home. It has everything you need, the kitchen is very complete, the bathrooms are the same as the jacuzzi, the children loved it to relax. And best of all, we walked to the lake, we went for a walk and the neighbors were very friendly and the area was very quiet. We were able to relax and feel nature. Everything is close and the owner of the house was very friendly and quickly responded to any questions she had. We really loved the house and hope to rent it again in the future.

Amazing property on the lake!

We stayed here with two families and one friend. We descended from various parts of the country, with folks flying in to two different airports! So it was tough to pack for winter weather and small children, but the accommodations were perfect for all of us and had everything we needed! The location is fantastic! We walked to the lake, did some sledding, and had a ski day, all in one weekend. The house is near everything you need, with stores, pharmacies and restaurants all with a few mins drive. And, if you need to plug in to work while there the internet is reliable too. We look forward to returning!

Amazing property!

I stayed here with my partner, our five children (ages 5-10), and my parents while skiing at Homewood. The house is spacious with a lay out that gives everyone their space. The kitchen has great amenities, the "great room" is cozy and spacious, and the beds were cozy. Also, the wifi never failed, so it was wonderful to come home after a long day of skiing and watch a movie on Netflix or Hulu on their large TV in the great room. The host is extremely responsive, and truly cared about us having a great stay and made sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to staying here again!

Cold Weather Vacation

This was our second time to stay in Lake Tahoe and our first time to bring friends. We chose this rental due to size and location - so close to the lake, you can see it off the patio. Super cool. It exceeded expectations! The hot tub was great, although incredibly cold upon exit at about 12°F outside. Debbie was great with texting back right away and helping us with any issues we had (it seemed like someone who stayed before us had messed with the PS3 for streaming Netflix/Hulu/Amazon). Overall, a great experience and when we come back to the area, we will be checking availability for this house again.

Great Location!!!

We visited Lake Forest home for 6 days for a family vacation. The location was pretty much IDEAL. The private beach in Dollar Point is perfect. The Dollar Point private pool/tennis courts are so great (a short drive). The grandkids were so excited about the diving board and overall "cool yibe" while using the facility. We had a bit of a problem finding it but once we did the kids visited it everyday. Debbie (owner) always answered questions very promptly. The only reason I didn't give this location a five star is that the house could use some upgrading/deep cleaning. The carpet had spots (a good carpet cleaning would be helpful). We didn't use the dishwasher as it did not work. The refrigerator was not very cold and may need to be replaced as well. The house was very well stocked and the BBQ/balcony was perfect. Our family would stay here again with a few improvements. We had the BEST time with our family. Thank you very much for a grand time in Lake Tahoe Debbie!

Excellent location - but the house itself is not in good shape.

Debbie was really good at communicating with us, but that didn't really help the state of the house, which needs some major work. Many things are old, stained, broken or not in good condition. For example, the bar in the kitchen is TAPED together in numerous places to hold broken tiles together, window screens were either missing or torn (and there is no AC or fans), the dishes were not clean (we ended up buying paper plates and plastic utensils) - everywhere you looked, something needed repairing. It was disappointing. We did communicate with Debbie several times (and she answered quickly), but she always had an excuse for why something was broken. We have stayed at VRBO's before and this one was not up to par with other ones we've been to in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. Also, be aware that the house creaks VERY LOUDLY - if you sleep downstairs where most of the bedrooms are, it is noisy and hard to sleep. We thought we were having an earthquake the first night, but it was just our group in the upstairs kitchen area. Definitely sleep in the one upstairs bedroom if you can! Also be aware that there are a lot of stairs in this house - a set to get to the front door and another steep set to get to the main living area - add in the higher altitude and you are huffing and puffing a lot. On the positive side, the location is excellent. The private beach area is fairly close by and wonderful - our kids spent hours catching crawdads from the docks. There are chairs there with umbrellas for shade which was awesome. We also loved the pool area (it's not within walking distance but it's worth driving to) it has a lovely grassy area, bocce ball, ping pong, a small playground and a nice, heated pool. The house is also very close to a Safeway and restaurants - even the Truckee River Float was just 10 minutes away (which is very fun - I highly recommend it!). All in all, we enjoyed our time in Tahoe City, but unfortunately, I don't think we would stay at this house again.

We are Larry and Debbie (but that's not Larry in the photo!) We've owned this home for 22 years and still love it and the neighborhood. We joined VRBO in June 2010. We have been "home exchangers" since 2005, and have donated the house to many charity auctions. We are striving to make it the house you want to come back to over and over again.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We love this property because of the location (tranquil street, away from the highway yet only a block from the beach). Having a greenbelt on one side of the property is a rare feature too. We also enjoy the floor plan with the livingroom slightly separated from the kitchen and dining-room giving a little separation from those watching movies or playing games from those cooking and chatting.
