Wonderful spacious and clean place to stay!!

We arrived here and were pleasantly surprised how spacious this two bedroom was. The place was extremely clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend this for a place to stay in San Jose!! Great experience!!

Didn’t feel safe in the area and didn’t stay. Communicated this to the host. Host said that they had nobody say this before and wasn’t open to any negotiations regarding the paid fee

Hidden Jewel

This property is most definitely a hidden jewel. It is located in a prime area, minutes from the airport and hip local shops. Additionally, communication with the owners was exceptional. The check in and checkout process was convenient, and the property is exactly has it is shown. It is beautifully renovated and had everything needed in the rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Furthermore, there is a grocery store right across the street just in case you may need to run to the store last minute. Don’t let the surrounding area discourage you, this property is worth staying at!

Everything was excellent

There have been some poor reviews for this listing so I didn't have super high expectations going in. Everything was great! The place was clean, wifi worked, check-in was totally smooth, I had zero complaints and was very happy with the accommodations. I couldn't recommend this place enough, good location as well.

Wouldn’t recommend

The house was spacious, but it was not clean and had no cleaning supplies. We had to buy items to clean when we arrived. The neighborhood is not the safest and there’s no parking. Overall, it got the job done, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

Terrific host, charming unit, and great location

We had a wonderful five day stay here. Leon and Irina were super responsive before and during our visit. The unit is clean, and the rooms are spacious and well decorated. The pottery in the kitchen is amazing! The beds are very comfortable. There’s also a patio and table for eating outside. Conveniently located to downtown. The large grocery store directly across the street has everything you might need. We will stay here again when back in San Jose.

Great location for access to highways and airport.

The remodeling was well done; however, the hot water situation needs to be improved. We had to run the water a long time in the kitchen and bathroom to get hot water. Additionally, the hot water capacity needs to be increased. On our first night when we tried to take a shower at 9:30 pm, there was no hot water. The A/C and heat were great. In the kitchen, there was a stove top, microwave and toaster oven which were sufficient for our meal needs. There is no dishwasher so the hot water issue made washing dishes more difficult. Recommend the owner install a tankless water heater just for this apartment which would also definitely reduce the water bill. The location was in a quiet neighbor and the apartment is off the street so traffic noise was minimal. The location allowed very easy access to Highway 101 to go south or north and it is only 10 minutes from the San Jose Airport. Parking was on the street and we never had an issue parking. Across the street is a local neighbor grocery store where we enjoyed the Hispanic baked goods.

Out of town family wedding

We were in town for 4 days for a family wedding. Our family of 4 found this rental very comfortable. I'm sure it is mentioned in the description of the kitchen, but plan ahead in the meal planning. There is a stove top, toaster oven, and microwave but no oven. There is only street parking. Only one day was difficult to find parking on the block right in front of the property. There is a grocery store directly across the street.

Great location

We really enjoyed the house - it was perfect for our stay. The location was very convenient to many great places to eat. A 10 min walk got us to Japan Town for great food and also there was great Mexican and Vietnamese food near by also. The supermarket across the street was also very convenient. All in all, a great place.

Nice reprieve in the city!

This unit is nicely furnished with everything you will need during your stay. The kitchen is stocked with all the utensils and there are even condiments for your use during your stay, these are important to me as I travel for my job and cook for myself and appreciate a well stocked kitchen. The unit is tucked back off the street and is quiet. The unit is large, big living room, the bedrooms are very comfortable. My only challenge was the water pressure in the shower was not very good. I would gladly recommend this unit if you are going to San Jose. It is conveniently located and there is a grocery store right across the street so if you need anything is is right there.

Great hosts and place!!

Clean, comfy, lots of space for 4 with a kitchen and coffee maker with provided coffee. Hosts were very responsive to all our needs including allowing us to check out a little later due to our plans changing. Would definitely stay here again!!!
