En av en typ anpassad tre våningar ranch hem som har en öppen planlösning, katedral tak i hela huset, utsatta träbjälkar, privat master svit med egen ingång och däck, ytterligare två sovrum, tre badrum, ett unikt loft rum med utsikt över bukten genom sina takmonterade takfönster. Loftet är ett lugnt reflekterande område under dagen och utnyttjar dess vyer. På natten konverteras det till ett rum som lätt tillgodoser sovbehov för upp till fyra personer. Huvudvåningen är upplyst i naturligt ljus från de stora fönstren och dörrväggen som vetter mot ett däck med utsikt över 154 fot privata stranden i Suttons Bay. Walkout-källaren fungerar som en separat svit med eget badrum och egen ingång på viksidan. Känn dig fri att ha en lägereld i eldstaden på stranden med lövträ tillhandahållen av oss. Great vacation

Great location with private beach access and close to town. We made good use of the beach, kayaks and paddle boards. Only regret is not staying longer.

Nice lakefront swim spot with beautiful garden area

The owner is very prompt w communication. Private fire pit and dock right across the street, which isn't very busy. Beach area is good for swimming and is mostly Sandy. We also did paddle boarding. Plenty of space from neighbors w natural lake shore on one side. House is spacious and clean. Beautiful back yard patio and garden, perfect for a relaxing breakfast w a lake view deck. Nice to have two zones to spread out. House is being updated. Owner did have lawn irrigation system installed while we were staying which was a frustration. Otherwise a nice stay from a host proud of his property with clear water swim area 5/7 days ( wind direction dependent).would stay again. Easy access to TC, mawby wines, and Sutton's bay. Loved the garden area. Nice privacy.

Beautiful view and perfect location

There is so much great about this property I hope I don't forget to mention anything. We had 2 families stay - 2 sets of parents and 4 adult "children" :) Upon arrival we were shown around the property and welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine custom labeled for the property. It was from Mawby Winery and was so good we went and bought more to take home. The area is fantastic. We've vacationed in the Leelanau Peninsula for the past several summers and have always wanted to stay closer to Sutton's Bay and this is within a 5 min drive to downtown. You could walk leisurely in 30 min or bike ride as well. Also close to many wineries, breweries, Fishtown, Leeland, etc. The house is up on a hill and has a fantastic view of Sutton's Bay. The sunsets are amazing- I wish I could attach a photo of some of the pictures I took! The private beach provides plenty of both sun or shade, and the dock is brand new. The first few feet out into the water are a bit rocky (not sharp rocks) so little ones may want water shoes. There is also a nice fire pit for evenings. The property has many beautiful outdoor flowers and also has bird feeders. We saw cardinals, hummingbirds, yellow finch- absolutely beautiful. The squirrels provide a lot of morning entertainment on the back deck! The front deck is perfect to relax and read or enjoy the view of the bay. The house in a sense has 2 "master suites". There is the one on the main floor with an en suite full bath and the basement with it's own full bath as well. Both have walk out patios. The upstairs is a loft that is not enclosed, so put the heavy sleepers up there. And the other bedroom has 2 twin beds. Having 3 full bathrooms was helpful. The host is extremely friendly and helpful- and we hope to be able to return some day. We definitely recommend this property!

Ideal Michigan Vacation Spot

The house and location are perfect! Wonderful private beach great for swimming and water sports. Easy access to town on bikes and TART trail. Close to Leland and Traverse City. Would definitely come again!

The best of Michigan

Wonderful property on Sutton’s Bay! We loved the deck and the beach. The sunsets and the bonfires. Terrific location for a family get together.

Perfect Water Getaway

My family spent every single day on the water. From kayaking the bay, to fishing from the canoe, to trying paddle boarding for the first time, to swimming and fires on the beach stargazing, this vacation was just what my busy family needed. We had 1 morning of storms, but spent the day brewery and winery hopping then back out on the water in the evening. The house is very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed. I would recommend water shoes for the rocky shore but it quickly turns into sand as you wade out into the bay. Gorgeous sunsets every night!

Just what we needed

This property was wonderful. Our favorite part was our own private beach at the end of the driveway. You do have to cross the road but it wasn't horrible even with a 2 year old. Having a fire pit on the beach was great, we spent every sunset there. It was nice to have the kayaks and paddle board, they definitely got their use. Frank quickly responded to any questions or concerns. It was a truly relaxing week! My suggestion for anyone with small children is to go in and childproof everything. They have nice decor and some sharp things we put away when we arrived.

Fantastic Memory Hideaway

This property is the perfect get away for making wonderful memories. It is so peaceful and property was extremely clean. Frank was perfect to supply us with details for an easy check in and check out. The use of the canoe and kayaks was a splendid surprise with great appreciation. We truly LOVED all the plants and flowers. I highly recommend this rental.

Great location. Close to traverse city and 4minute drive from Sutton’s bay

Great communication with owner (frank). Frank is doing a great job renovating the property. Good for families with teenagers. We would strongly consider renting the property again if we visit Sutton’s bay in the future.
