Whether you seek relaxation on the lake or adventure in the stunning Leelanau County and Grand Traverse region, this cottage offers the best of both worlds.
Family-Friendly Resort
Step outside to enjoy over 400 feet of private lakefront, a sandy beach, a marina with a boat slip, and plenty of space for water activities like kayaking, jet skiing, or swimming. Spend your days lounging by the water, building sandcastles, or playing lawn games. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire and make memories around one of three shared fire pits with breathtaking sunset views.
In addition to the private beach and marina, West Wind Resort offers a playground, basketball court, and expansive green space. The shallow shoreline is ideal for young children, and beach toys and lawn games are provided for added fun.
Inviting Interior for Relaxation & Entertainment
Inside, the 1,200+ sq. ft. cottage offers a cozy living room with a gas fireplace and a futon for extra sleeping space. The newly renovated kitchen is fully stocked, perfect for preparing meals or gathering around the dining table (seating for 8) for game nights. With three bedrooms (1 king, 2 queen beds), high-speed WiFi, and a smart TV for streaming, you’ll have everything you need for both comfort and fun.

Located just minutes from Leland, Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor, and Northport packed with quaint shops, art galleries, and delicious restaurants, you’ll be close to endless activities. Access to a 17-mile paved bike trail (TART trail) connecting Traverse City and Suttons Bay, many wineries, breweries, and restaurants, including Farm Club, Paradise Cove, Jacob's Farm, Hop Lot Brewing Company, and many more.

Ben’s grandparents started vacationing on Lake Leelanau more than 60 years ago, passing down the tradition from generation to generation. This cottage has become the landscape for many family gatherings, baby showers, and birthday parties, and we love all that the Leelanau peninsula and Traverse City area has to offer!
