Här är en vacker 4 sovrum familjens hus i ett lugnt område i byn Leland. River Bend erbjuder enkel promenader till stan, bra cykling på lugna gator, bada från bryggan i kristallklart vatten med hård sandbotten, och snabb tillgång till både Lake Michigan eller Lake Leelanau stränder 5 minuter bort. Den tvättmaskin och torktumlare finns i källaren. Huset har ett vattenfiltreringssystem. Trägolv i hela första våningen, mattor på övervåningen. Stora platta HD Smart TV i vardagsrummet som har kabel och DVD-skivor. Wifi ingår. Spel och böcker till hands också. Leland är idealiskt beläget på Leelanau halvön, med vackra Sleeping Bear Dunes, Northport, Suttons Bay, vingårdar, vandringar, cykelleder, historiska platser och stränder alla stänger av. Cykel och båtuthyrning finns i närheten. Huset och platsen är perfekt för alla åldrar och intressen. Vi är säker på att du kommer att njuta av det lika mycket som vi gör!

Utomhus är helt enkelt vacker! Lugn slappa på floden och bakgård kul kan vara hade här. Rymlig gård för kid spela eller vilsam avkoppling för mamma och pappa. Det finns en docka tillhandahålls. Lätt att hyra kanoter, kajaker och pontoner. Sjösättning ligger på gångavstånd från huset. Kanal nedför floden till Lake Leelanau för alla vattensporter roligt. Floden är sandig och grunt vid stranden så gör för en perfekt spel plats för barnen. Utemöbler och en grill tillhandahålls.

Byn Leland erbjuder massor av shopping och restauranger. Sällsynta bokhandeln, söt butiker och gåvor i överflöd. Lake Michigan ligger på den västra sidan av staden och erbjuder en vacker småbåtshamn och "Fishtown" inte att missa för mer shopping och äter. Detta område ligger mellan Northport och Glen Arbor. Res M-22 korridoren och besöka lokala stränder, sanddyner, vägkanten står gården och så mycket mer. Besök dussintals vingårdar i området också. Du kommer inte bli besviken när du bor på Rivers Bend.

Great Family Location

Great place for a family to stay in Leland. Grandkids loved swimming in the river every day, and being able to walk into town for shopping and food. Highly recommend. We have stay here twice. loved it each time.

Wonderful!

One of our favorite areas- beautiful water everywhere! The house was clean, comfortable, welcoming, and well equipped. Would love it even more if it offered kayaks! Absolutely wonderful place though. So glad it was shared with us for our short stay.

Great location and very relaxing.

The location on the river couldn't have been better! The yard is surrounded by trees, giving you lots of privacy and making it feel like you're in the woods while just minutes from town. Sitting in the house or in the yard watching the river was super relaxing. There is WiFi at the house, but if you want to be disconnected from the world, don't use it and you can pretend to be off grid, as there is very little cell service in Leland. This was the perfect weekend getaway for relaxing and recharging!

Tranquil and comfortable riverfront home

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Leland River House, it is spotless and comfortable. We rented kayaks and had them delivered to the property to enjoy the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

Getaway

Cute place on the channel. Kids can swim, not to deep. We rented a paddle board and kayak from a local shop. You can walk to town (10-15 min walk). The place was clean and the check out process is easy. Also good communication from the owner. Thanks

Leland River Cottage

Relaxing stay on the Leland River. Great location to beaches, wineries, and Fishtown. Everything you need for a great vacation in Northern Michigan. This was our third time staying here and each time has been very enjoyable. Always look forward to returning.

Great location.

Very comfortable house within easy walking distance of the center of Leland. But especially wonderful to sit on the back lawn along the river and watch the boats travel up and down. Kids can play in the water off the dock. Absolutely wonderful place to spend a summer vacation.

Relaxing Long Weekend

The property is exactly as described in the listing - a 4-bedroom house on the short river that joins Lake Leelanau with Lake Michigan. It is in good shape, with a cozy, cottage vibe; the grounds were in excellent shape, with a mowed lawn, freshly planted flowers (in mid-June), and no weeds to be seen. The town of Leland is a ten-minute walk away, as is Van's Beach on Lake Michigan. (Unfortunately, there were a lot of dead alewives stinking up the Lake Michigan beach while we were there - unpleasant, but just something that occasionally happens.) We were up there for four nights - five adults and a two-year old - and we had a very relaxing time, which is just what we were lookng for.

Cute cottage!!

We stayed at this cute cottage for a long weekend with friends and had a great stay! The house was what we expected. We were all very comfortable and loved the view! It’s very simple with no frills. We didn’t need much because we were exploring the area. We would recommend this place for the view and location alone!

Leland River Cottage

Second time staying at the river cottage. Just as good as the first! Everything we needed for an enjoyable week in Northern Michigan. We rented a SUP from Harbor House and enjoyed relaxing paddles up and down the river. Also toured the wineries and enjoyed the beach and shopping in town. Great location and relaxing setting on the river.

Lovely peaceful getaway

Great place right on the river

We can't go often because of work schedules, so we like to think of other families enjoying the house. Our many repeat guests comment about the cleanliness and suitability for families of River's Bend.

We purchased the Leland River Cottage because of its quiet family-friendly location in the center of Leland and the quiet serene beauty of the Leelanau Peninsula (Michigan's little finger), its sand bottom river and lakes, and proximity to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and many, many recreational, art galleries and cultural activities. Just walking or biking around the village of Leland is a genuine pleasure with its great restaurants, wine tasting, gift shops, historic Fishtown, access to Manitou ferry, and historic houses.

We like to bike, walk, climb the dunes, swim, fish, bird watch and kayak outside. Inside we love watching the river drift by, cooking while enjoying the waterview, playing cards and games. We just enjoy being right on the river in the heart of Leland!
