Ett vackert Plum Island Beach House som just har slutfört en fullständig renovering både inifrån och ut. Denna historiska holländska koloniala rymmer lätt 6-8 gäster med tre (3) sovrum, ett och ett halvt badrum (1. 5). Huset kallas Sand Dollar och ligger inom en kort 2 minuters promenad till havet. Ligger också cirka 30 minuter söder om Portsmouth NH och 45 minuter norr om Boston.

Strandhuset ligger på den södra änden av ön Plum, en kort promenad till havet utan att behöva köra till stranden. Vi är fem hus ner från den största parkeringsplatsen tillgång till Plum Island stranden. Hemmet har 3 sovrum / 1. 5 bad, flera platt-TV, kabel och trådlöst internet. Fullt utrustat kök med stor kyl, spis, bortskaffande av avfall, diskmaskin och mikrovågsugn. Tvättmaskin och torktumlare i källaren. Stort däck, gasgrill och utemöbler. Luftkonditionering på bottenvåningen. Vackert inredda och fullt möblerade. Obefläckad.

Vacation special

What we look for in a rental is cleanliness, comfort and goof communication. This property filled the bill and exceeded expectations. It was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed. There were multiple seating areas inside and out for relaxing. We enjoyed the use of the grill, the wine chiller and the coffee/tea station. There were thoughtful touches like a basket of spare sunglasses and umbrellas to borrow, even “to go” coffee cups. We’ve stayed in Newburyport and Plum Island many time but this was the best property by far to proximity to Parker River NWR. We enjoyed birding, biking, and access to the ocean. The only downside for us as seniors was the lack ofan upstairs bathroom where two of the bedrooms were. My bad - I should have looked at the property description more closely. It felt unsafe for me to navigate the steep narrow steps from the 2nd floor to the first. Otherwise it was overall outstanding.

WOW!!!

Our visit was absolutely incredible. Diane and Chris are amazing hosts, they emailed a few days ahead of time to let us know we could check in early + extended the check out time and left some amazing local treats for us to enjoy. The property is even better in person and we super appreciated all the amenities, fire pit, games and beach items. We stayed here during our wedding weekend and will forever cherish the memories and remember this beautiful home. Thank you so much Diane and Chris for sharing your home and hospitality with us!!

Wonderful Plum Island Retreat

Our stay at the Sand Dollar on Plum Island was delightful. The owner made check in a breeze was was very helpful and attentive. This traditional cottage was tastefully and smartly updated and is only a few minutes walk from the beach. While the weather during our stay was less than desirable, this cozy cottage made for a relaxing retreat. Highly recommend.

Fall family trip

We absolutely adored this cute and cozy cottage style house for our family of 5 vacation. The people who own it really thought of everything! Close enough that we were able to visit Salem, and Boston on different days after we had explored Plum Island and the town of Newbury. We enjoyed the outside area when the weather allowed and the house was peaceful and quiet. This place was a perfect little getaway for this KY family!

Beautiful property and meticulously maintained.

Lovely house by the sea

We had a lovely time relaxing in this comfortable house and fabulous deck as well as adventuring in Parker River wildlife reserve, Sandy Point state park, and the beach just a few houses away. The hosts thought of everything we would need and more, from a welcome gift to a well-stocked kitchen and a fantastic fire pit. We would definitely recommend this house and hope to go back ourselves!

Spectacular house in great location. Owners have thought of absolutely everything you could possibly need. Short walk to beautiful beach. Lots of outdoor space with patio furniture and fire pit.
