En minuts promenad från stranden, Placid stuga ligger på 'Plumtucket' -är en charmig 1½ story året stuga smakfullt utformad och utses. Placid Cottage erbjuder en ö atmosfär och dramatiska inredning!

Detta ett sovrum som sover fyra är fantastisk! 17' tak, central luft, 2-parkering! Denna stuga har ett öppet blåsigt livsrum, en modern (gasspis, mikrovågsugn, rostfritt stål apparater, granit) fullt utses och applianced (allt från en crockpot till en dränkbar mixer) kök, en mysig gas spis, en top of the line comfy drottning säng, ett minne skum utdragbar och en avslappnad bekväm utanför matplats komplett med en gasgrill. Även om du är borta, hålla kontakten med wi-fi och strömmande musik och video via platt skärm. Ön har allt du behöver. Men om du måste gå utanför ön, staden bekvämligheter finns i överflöd i Newburyport, som omfattar shopping, jord till bord restauranger, barer med levande musik, scenkonst centers, gratis konserter och mycket mer.

Blissful Stay!

We had a wonderful weekend! The cottage was perfect! Clean and well equipped! We absolutely love the area. So many great restaurants and things to do! The host is very organized and has thought of everything you could possible need! We will definitely return!

Great cottage and location for two

It’s rare to find a vacation property for two people that has all the amenities, is in a great location, and is actually affordable. Plumtucket checks all the boxes, and Ed is a great host.

Short walk to uncrowded beach

The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Just a short walk to the beach that was only busy on the 4th of July. We enjoyed the cottage very much.

Our Stay on Plum Island

Our stay on Plum Island was wonderful. The home was beautiful. It had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean. It was easy to reach out to Edward and he was very responsive. I would stay here again.

Magical Plum Island Vacation

We had the most amazing week in Edward's Cottage.The house was super cozy, cute and very well appointed.The location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere, including to the beach. We had a magical week and we're already looking forward to our stay next summer.

Magical Paradise

Plumtucket is a very special place. The cottage is a little gem of perfection. The grounds are magical, especially at night when bunnies dart about the white shell pathways in the shadow of a magical tree.

Perfect Week Stay in cozy Plumtucket!

Thank you Edward! You made the rental process easy and offered a wealth of knowledge for the surrounding area. We loved the cozy cottage which had everything 2 people needed for a week away. Glorious Stay

I enjoyed another stay at this beautiful property. It is nicely furnished and so comfortable. The beach is a block away. I spent lots of time exploring at the wildlife refuge. Neighbors are great. Landlord is very responsive and caring. You will never find a better property to relax and enjoy nature.

Sweet cottage full of light

This cute cottage is Incredibly peaceful and quiet and in a wonderful location steps from the beach. It is clean and uncluttered with vaulted ceilings, many windows and a cozy fireplace. One thing that few people have mentioned…this cottage is on plum island and access to one of the world’s premiere birding beaches and salt marshes is phenomenal - bring your binoculars and expect to be wowed! We saw many many rare birds, including the piping plover - a highly protected indicator species - only 4000 or less left in the world!

A true sanctuary

The cabin is charming. I love the high ceilings it makes the small size seem larger, light and airy. The skylights are very effective in bringing in light as well. I like the little yard and would spend time there if it weren't winter. The Parker River Wildlife reserve is open daily, and I would go out to the different trails often. Newburyport is the town where my grandfather spent his youth so exploring was fun. It is easy to get to New Hampshire and Maine to experience the scenery, parks and towns in the surrounding areas. I would recommend staying here to discerning families but especially to solo travelers like myself. AAAPlus

A great experience! Highly recommend

My husband and I came for a short stay and Edward was a great host. The cottage itself was well kept and impeccably clean. Edward was also very responsive and offered to help if we needed suggestions on things to do. Due to a family emergency, we had to cut short our stay and had to leave on a very short notice and Ed was very considerate and understanding. We are frequent guests to Newbury and Newburyport and I must say this was another memorable cottage and experience. I also had a chance to meet the neighbors and they were welcoming warm and friendly. We plan to come back to this cottage and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone wanting a great host and quaint cottage. Perfects beach cottage for a couple.

The cottage is a lovely and very well appointed/equipped retreat for a couple. It's close to the beach and convenient to the Parker River refuge. For us (a retired couple with family in the area) it was an ideal spot for a relaxing two weeks filled with Plum Island exploring and visiting family. We hope to return for future visits. Check out nearby Mad Martha's for breakfast and the Beachcoma and Plum Island Grill for dinners.....and sunsets from the Grill. We appreciated Edward's help with any questions we had prior to and during our stay. His emailed brochure fully described the cottage and its contents, and was helpful too. We couldn't have been more pleased with this "Placid Plumtucket" cottage. It is also convenient to Newburyport and an easy drive to all the sights of the North Shore from Cape Ann in Massachusetts to Portsmouth, Maine.

Plumtucket Never Disappoints!

This was my 4th year in a row at the delightful Plumtucket Cottage. I think I'm in a rut, and I like it! The walk to the beach is approximately 2 minutes, so if the weather suddenly turns beachy, you can pounce. The cottage is quiet, spectacularly clean, and well-appointed. The cottage neighbors are very nice, and I feel so safe and relaxed there. Each night, the trees are lit from below, like a magical soft green mist. Have yourself a clambake at Bob Lobster to really get "in the zone". Buy Avon Skin So Soft to keep green flies away (there weren't that many).
