Upon arrival the toilet was making an awful sound, I contacted the manager and told them, the handyman came out and "fixed" it...well at 3;30am the noise started again!!! It happened 3 more times during our stay.

Nice place for long stay

rented for 4 weeks to help my son rehabilitate an injury to his knee - rented because of the swimming pool - I had to submerge a stepladder to assist him in getting in and out of the pool - it worked and he was able to swim daily. The house is modest and well equipped kitchen and the A/C was nice and cold. The house is a little worn and the neighborhood is a quiet older community not close to many amenities. The house could use dressers to put clothes away and hangers for the closet. Also beware of the bathtub - it's slippery when entering for a shower. Overall it served our purposes well.

A little worn, but okay.

The toilet ran the entire time. Kitchen flooring is coming apart and the dishwasher almost fell out. Neighborhood is quiet, unless you like dogs on both sides of you barking. If you stay here during school hours, don’t try to sleep, the bells and horns and announcements throughout the day will keep you awake. The shower is so slippery. Need something in there before someone hurts themselves. Nowhere to put my clothing. No dressers, hangers or anything for clothing storage but closets. Stayed here for 8 days. Worked nights and slept days and couldn’t even get 5hrs before something woke us up. There is only one TV in the home. Shower heads need to be replaced. Kitchen faucet needs to be de-calcified because when you switch it to other option, it sprays all different directions. This place should be cheaper. I do not feel that it was worth the money we spent for 8 days. A hotel would have been more accommodating and less of a bother with sleeping. Not a bad place, but there are better options.

Nice home. Decent neighborhood. A little far from downtown. Comfy beds. Very clean and smelled nice. Updated. The host was a good communicator.

Had a hard time contacting the owner before to ask about the pool. House and pool were nice. Probably wouldn't go back but for a one night stay it was okay.

TERRIBLE HOST

Overall worst experience renting a house ever, I have used VRBO before and had a lovely experience with my family. Most importantly the host was the person that made this experience even worse, if I could give him minus starts I would. First I did not get an e-mail with confirmation of property check in or anything only a request to pay my second half of the property rental. I had to call him to get the access code to check in and was told that the AC man would be in the next day from 10-12 to replace a part, never letting me know that the AC did not work at all. After this it was all down hill. Upon arrival trash bins we're full from prior occupants, bathrooms we're not clean, had throw up on one of the toilets, AC was not working, no detergent left to wash, refrigerator was not cooling and one of the burners on the stove was not working as well. We tried to salvage the mini getaway as best as we could, we had to purchase fans and coolers for our food since our food went bad with the refrigerator not cooling and the fans because the weather was 107. I sent a message to our host the next day regarding all our issues, he then reassured us that he would send out the handy man and AC guy to fix the problem. Both guys came in after 1 pm just to be told nothing could be done until maybe the next two days. One of the guys even told us that we should get our money back, that's how bad it was. Contacted our host again on what we we're told said we would have a full refund but we had to leave that day but never giving us a specific time to check out, that we would be more comfortable getting a hotel. We left later that night to at least enjoy the poll a little, then left the place clean and sent pictures to him. He then got offensive accusing me of lying saying that bins were empty the day before we got there using any excuse not to refund our money. Said he would let me know about my full refund the next day. Two days have passed I've contacted him via text and no reply. DO NOT STAY HERE! it was the worst experience ever, instead of relaxing I ended up upset and stressed and a lot of money out for one night stay with no AC at 107 weather. I do not wish this upon anyone. Worst part is there is no supervisor I could speak with to advise them on his terrible way of handling this.
