The Muse is a new and tranquil updated home featuring 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, as well as ample space for indoor/outdoor living. The Muse brings to life the creative themes inspired by the arts scene and coastal living here in Charleston! The convenient Shem Creek/Mt. Pleasant location offers short driving distance to downtown Charleston's wonderful restaurants, shops, and historic sites, the waterfront excitement of Shem Creek, and the area beaches of Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms. Combined with the neighborhood's fantastic location and our comfortable and stylish furnishings, The Muse is sure to be your home away from home!

This home features an open floor plan that accommodates both dining and lounge space, making it great for groups looking to spend time together or enjoy a meal. You are first greeted by the front screened-in patio space. Complete with chic boho swing chairs to lounge in (drink in hand of course!), you will be enjoying the Lowcountry's beautiful weather in no time! After entering the home you'll find the open living room which we've nicknamed 'The Studio' marked by its vintage recording studio vibe. Relax in this spacious area with a large comfy sofa, a cozy plush papasan chair to sink into, and some classic tunes spun on the vintage record player. Here you can also enjoy the 50” HD TV equipped with streaming services such as Netflix, Sling Live TV, and more. We provide basic login credentials for live SlingTV, but feel free to use your own logins for other streaming apps during your stay. Open to the living room you'll find the fully equipped eat-in kitchen with all the cooking/kitchen essentials, and a dining table with seating for up to six. Also found off the kitchen is a spacious laundry room with a washer and dryer and access to the large backyard. The private and fully fenced yard is complete with a gas grill and patio/fire pit for those evenings under the stars!

The bedrooms, each with luxurious soft linens and either a king or queen bed, are off the hall. The queen bedroom, we call 'The Palette' may inspire you to paint your next masterpiece. This room is light and bright featuring colorful cheery decor, ample closet space, and a dresser with a large mirror. The king bedroom, dubbed 'The Library,' showcases a literary motif that may lead you to picking up (and finishing ;) ) your next vacation read. This room features not only a large comfy king bed, but also a dedicated workspace at a spacious desk for all your work from home needs, as well as ample closet space. A queen size self-inflating air mattress along with all required linens is provided as well for an additional guest or two.

Shared by both bedrooms, the bright and airy remodeled hall bathroom features a granite countertop, and a white subway tile shower/tub combo.

*In addition to all linens and towels, we also provide a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board, along with a starter pack of the basic amenities to start your stay. That starter pack includes: one set of hotel quality bath amenities (body wash, shampoo, conditioner and handsoap), three rolls of toilet paper, three rolls of paper towels, a 2-3 pods of dish detergent and laundry detergent, and a small amount of kitchen trash bags.*
*One dog is permitted with prior consent and a non-refundable $100 pet deposit.*
*While we want our guests to enjoy their stay as freely as possible, this is a family friendly neighborhood full of locals, so please be respectful of our neighbors and abide by the local noise ordinances from 9pm-8am. This is not a party house!*
*Free parking for up to three vehicles is provided in the home's private driveway.*
