The rooms were clean. But when we turned on the bathroom light twice we saw a roach in there. (Not the same one because I killed both of them.) There is no dishwasher so dishes are definitely not sanitized from previous users. And not bad but very odd glasses/cups and mugs. There was only three coffee cups. So we didnât all have one. The beds were clean and were made up super cozy, but the bed was far from it. It squeaked every turn and very uncomfortable. The side my husband slept on sagged. There must be foundation issues with the home. Lots of cracks in the ceiling and near doors. The bedroom doors donât close right. So when you get up in the middle of the night you have to tug hard on the door to open and it so loud it sounds like a gun shot.The house is right beside a very main road and you hear loud traffic all night long.I was informed by the owner a new shower was just installed but something yellow was smeared/stained all over the tub. The shower head sprays out of the top of the shower and gets water on the floor and toilet paper (the shower curtain was completely closed with every shower, but this still happens with every use.)It is right across from Publix and only a five minute drive to the beach. So that part of location is great.I was surprised to find itâs a duplex, I had thought it was a single home. But there was no issues with parking, or with the neighbor.We were there for a wedding and only used the house to crash and shower, not a vacation.
