Quick spring break Yosemite trip

Short and sweet break was just what our family needed! The house was clean and comfortable and well appointed-our girls loved the pool table and hot tub- the drive to Yosemite was beautiful and easy, and we highly recommend this place for families looking for a bit of a break from busy city life

Extremely comfortable

An amazing home for the price. The appliances were a bit dated but operational. But the house is spacious, clean and designed perfectly for an enjoyable stay. Lots of games for the family to play. We had a wonderful time, If I had a suggestion it would be to cover the outside furniture for protection from the dust. 40 minutes to Yosemite and 2.5 hrs to sequoia national park. After the parks the hot tube was heaven.

Why is there a deep freezer in the living room!

Nice roomy 3 bedroom house in quiet neighborhood. Very disappointed when we arrived to find out that the refrigerator and freezer did not work. The owner recommended we use the deep freezer, which is great if we wanted all of our food and wine to be frozen the entire stay. We had to keep all of our food in the ice chest that we happened to bring, and could not chill our wine because the ice chest was full of food and ice packs. We had to buy ice and rotate our ice packs to keep our food cold. There was coffee and Keurig pods, but no Keurig maker. There was a coffee maker but no carafe. There was no carbon monoxide detector and no outside fireplace. All of these items were listed on the VRBO site. I requested compensation for the inconvenience of having no refrigerator, yet received no response. I would not recommend this house because I was not informed ahead of time that the refrigerator was not operational. The least Jazzy and David could have done was reimburse us for the 2 bags of ice.

Bad Property Mgt. broken refrigerator and unkept.

We arrived to discover a broken refrigerator. Wasn’t told in advance. When I called about it they said they put in a freezer. No ice or coolers. Just a freezer? What good is that when you plan on cooking for a family. Can’t freeze your food and drinks. They didn’t respond to any of my texts or emails. And, didn’t compensate us in any way. On top of that the patio was dirty and I had to clean the tables, chairs and sweep up, the grass was knee high around the house and the hot tub was over chlorinated so we could only stay in for a half hour. All in all nice place but terrible hosts!!!

Overall a good place to stay.

It was a cute house, very spacious! They are great at communication. It is a drive however to Yosemite valley. About an hour and a half. They stock really well on dishes. And they do provide coffee and filters but you will need sugar and creamer if you use those. There’s no broom to clean up with during your stay. That is something I wish they offered to leave out, even a vacuum for any messes that could happen during the stay. There was one bottle of multi purpose cleaner and one roll of paper towels. They do provide laundry soap and the stuff for your laundry, so that was nice. Overall we had a great stay!

Amazing- Hot Tub was the best

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The house was gigantic, comfortable beds, the hot tub was the absolute best, this would be a great place to stay for a multi-family vacation with children included. One note to future guests, this home is a full hour drive away from Yosemite National Park. And a full hour and a half drive to Yosemite Valley. The drive was beautiful, but after a full day of hiking and adventuring, the hour and a half drive was very long. The town of Mariposa is adorable and definitely worth looking into.

Yosemite Vacation

The place was cozy and clean. Loved the hot tub after our hikes. Pool table was fun to have. It got used quite a bit. Neighborhood is quiet and active with lots of birds including wild turkeys that came to visit daily. Host was quick to respond if we had a question or concern. One thing I’ll mention which is not a reflection on the host or the house but there doesn’t seem to be a leash law or it’s not enforced in the neighborhood. We had our small dog with us and came across a couple of loose dogs on our walk as well as the same dogs came into our yard. There is no fence around the property so we kept our dog on a leash at all times. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were soft. Tap water was drinkable and tasted better than our city water! One thing I’d say is the kitchen amenities could be updated or expanded. Limited pots and pans. We made do but I also made our meals ahead of time so it was mostly warming up already cooked food or boiling water for pasta. Also the backyard is a steep slope and neighbors are close so the description of private 3+ acres was a stretch only because the space you have to use is limited. I would for sure recommend this place and stay again. Side note trip to Yosemite entrance from the 140 is 1.5 hours and to the 41 entrance is about 1 hour.

Would definitely stay again!

Our family had a great time with everything we could need at this beautiful home! Jazzy and Dave were the perfect hosts and made sure we were well taken care of. We saw deer, wild turkeys and other local critters from the front and back yard! Truly an amazing home, beautifully decorated, well stocked and the hot tub is ready to soak in the gorgeous views. Highly recommend!

Spacious, functional

Great space for a group of friends. Open floor plan. Having the games and hot tub available were so nice. Kitchen is stocked well. The decor was cute and chic. I would stay here again!

Yosemite Launch Pad . . .

Used this perfect house for our Yosemite home base and launch pad. Drove to Yosemite NP for a very long day of hiking grandeurs, came back and prepared a great dinner in the nicely appointed kitchen. Ended the day in the very well maintained hot tub under a million stars. The beds here are a thing of beauty; very nice firm but not-too-firm mattresses. A fantastic restful way to end a hot day in the Park. Can’t wait to stay here again!!

Hom Away From Home

Great stay at this home. It was spacious, clean and beautiful. Saw deers and willd turkeys in the backyard, enjoyed the jacuzzi and had fun with the pool table. My family looked forward to coming back to this house after a long day of hike at Yosemite. Kitchen has everything you need, all you have to do is just get groceries from Mariposa. Overall, will recommend this place.
