Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed our location near Yosemite's South Entrance, the hot tub, and found our guest information helpful. The day you checked in an unexpected summer snowstorm brought unusually cold temperatures to the mountains. Because we had not received an estimated arrival time, the cabin was set to our normal energy-saving temperature between guests. As soon as you contacted us, we remotely adjusted the thermostat and made sure the cabin warmed to a comfortable temperature. The temperature of the home remained approx 76 degrees through your stay. For future guests, our listing and rental agreement both clearly describe the upstairs loft and spiral staircase so everyone can determine if the layout is the right fit. We also take great pride in maintaining a clean, well-stocked kitchen. The home is professionally deep cleaned and inspected after every stay. We didn't receive any concerns during your visit, but we still inspected the oven and cookware afterward and found everything to be clean and in good condition. We’d like to provide a bit of seasonal context for future guests regarding your comments about the yard. Your stay took place during early spring, while our mountain property was in the middle of a massive snow melt after a very snowy winter, with snow still on the ground during your visit. During that time of year, the natural landscape can look a bit rough as everything thaws out and is waking up from winter, which is typical for our area. We also take cleanliness very seriously. The cabin was professionally cleaned and inspected immediately before your arrival, and I personally checked in as well. Had any issues been brought to our attention during your stay, we would have gladly addressed them right away, they were not. We’re always happy to receive constructive feedback, but we do want future guests to know that our home is a cozy mountain cabin in a natural setting, and seasonal outdoor conditions can vary depending on the time of year. We’re glad you were comfortable overall and enjoyed many of the special features of the property.
