This beautifully appointed lakefront home is located minutes from Historic Downtown Hartwell. The space is a stylish and thoughtfully decorated luxury home filled with natural light. The house resides in a peaceful neighborhood setting that offers a combination of convenience and character. Close to major highways (I-85) Upscale amenities

The space: Here are our bedding and bathroom arrangements:
Master - Main level - King Bed. stand up shower and large tub
Master - Basement level - King bed. Tub shower combo
Guest Room 1 - upstairs -Two queen beds Guest bathroom in between the two upstairs bedrooms with stand up shower and tub
Guest Room 2 - upstairs- Two bunk beds twin over full plus two trundles.

Here are our property amenities: -Boat dock with cover -2 Single Person Kayaks -various floats and life jackets -Gas fire pit -Gas grill -Smart TV's with Disney+, ESPN, Netflix, Amazon Prime TV, Youtube TV & Hulu capability (personal log in needed) -15 minutes to downtown Hartwell with shopping and dining, Ingles and Walmart -Short distance from a public boat ramp to put your boat in the water -Please note that the paddle boards in the listing photos are no longer at the property.
Guest access: You will have access to the entire house. You're welcome to bring your own boat and tie it to the dock. No boat, no problem! Rent a boat at Big Water Marina, Portman Marina, or any of the other local marinas. The boat ramp is just a couple of minutes away and makes it easy to drop in your boat.
Other things to note: -We have a few neighbors, and while they are spaced out privately, we want to avoid any loud parties or chaos that would impact their daily lives at their private residences. If you're having a college reunion or a wild shindig, this isn't the right place to rent. Additionally, this property is located in a partially wooded area near a body of water. While we do have routine pest management, If you are extremely phobic of critters and insects, this also may not be the place for you.

Our family of 10, my daughters & her families stayed for the weekend to visit our granddaughter at Clemson University & attend the football game. Loved the house and wished we had more time to spend there

Couple friends retreat at the lake

We had a great time for a 4 day stay at this property. Everything with the house and lake was perfect. The pictures are accurate and the house was well stocked, and everything was just perfect for our 5 couple retreat

Beautiful home

The house was very beautiful. Check in was super easy and check out was a breeze. No over the top expectations like some other house rentals. The dock was a great hangout spot for the family and the water was so clean and refreshing. We rented the room over the garage as well, which was great for extra room for us. The skylights put sun directly onto the beds so future renters should bring eye masks. Luckily we had them. The lighting between the house and garage could be a little better though. Late night retiring to bed in an unfamiliar wooded area was a little scary sometimes. Communication with the managing company was very easy as well however, there was a leak in the air conditioner pan that caused the floor in the basement bedroom to be soaked all week. There was someone who came in to attempt to fix the leak but it wasn’t successful. Though there was some attempt at fixing the situation, it was bothersome that more wasn’t done while we were there. Additionally the dishwasher broke before we arrived so with a group of 14 it was a little inconvenient. Overall the property was amazing and we would probably stay there again if we are on that lake. On a side note, the Lavonia Speedway is nearby and we checked out the races which were amazing if you want some local fun things to do.

Nice big family home

We stayed with our kids and grandkids - 13 in all. I’ve rented a lot of homes over the years and this is among the better ones. I would definitely rent again. Reasons this one stands out: Easy access to water, especially with little ones (gentle slope stairs + dock ladder), use of kayaks & SUPs with excellent life jackets in all sizes, downstairs bar and pool table once we get the littles down for the night, garage bunk house for whoever craves privacy, roomy kitchen and dining table to feed a crowd, plenty of dishes, lots of beds with good mattresses, 2 refrigerators, garbage pickup, convenience to Harbor Light marina for boat rental. What I will bring next time: regular drip coffee maker (needed 8 boxes of Keurig capsules for a crowd of big coffee drinkers), cleaning and paper products (we ran out of most, not all, of the starter supplies in our 4 night stay) a brownie/cake pan (made do with a casserole dish), propane (because who wants to run out mid grill). The house and kitchen is well stocked - I’m just sharing what I’ll bring next time if it’s helpful for a future renter.

Nice house, in very good repair. Mostly in great shape, beautiful backyard. Beds were comfortable. Biggest complaint was lack of toilet paper, but that being the biggest issue, and it's easily fixed... One 'bedroom' has no closure (no curtain or wall on one side).

The LakeHouse!

Nice Lakehouse! Plenty of room!! The pool table was great to have to entertain! The bunkhouse was a great addition also. Short walk down to the lake was great!

Great weekend getaway!

This lake house was fantastic, well appointed on inside and outside with all the amenities you could ask. We had 3 families staying together and it still felt spacious in the house. Kids had a blast on the kayaks and paddle boards during the day and then playing pool in the evening. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great family getaway.
