SplitSeas LakeView Cottage is a spacious family home looking over Clear Lake. Relax and unwind with family/friends, and enjoy the view from our relaxing lakeview patio! A 2nd patio with picnic seating and BBQ grill is perfect for creating memories around the table. North Shore provides a scenic drive (or bike or walk!) along the lake. We're just 6 minutes from the historic downtown Surf District. Our 1-story cottage has 5 stairs leading to the door. 3 cozy
bedrooms, 2 baths, and an open living space await! This entire property is newly remodeled with beautiful decor and all new appliances!

Our Clear Lake Adventure

Very nice home and spacious. Great vew of the lake and nice front patio. Didn't have our passwords so couldn't use the TV at all. That was only drawback for us. Good location and we enjoyed our stay.

4th annual girls weekend

Had a great stay, we loved the house set up. The beds were comfortable, location was almost perfect for us. Loved the fire pit and front patio. Side deck not the best, not very clean and lots of bugs and webs.

A great Clear Lake Rental

We had a wonderful time at this home. It was in a good location, it was clean, well-maintained, well-appointed and the hosts were wonderful. We will definitely book this property again.

Thanksgiving Family Stay

The home was perfect size. We had 6 adults and 4 kids the last night because of the weather turning bad. I’m sure a summer trip would be even more enjoyable with the view and front deck.

Beautiful House across from the Lake

Beautiful little house across from the lake .. We enjoyed the sunrise each morning, our grandkids saw a nice 4 x4 buck in the front yard eating from the apple tree.

Great location, very clean

This property was perfect for our girls weekend. The location was convenient to town and the property itself was very clean and had plenty of room for us all. We loved the open floor plan and plan to stay again!

Quiet Little Haven

This little cabin was perfect for a quick mother-daughter getaway. We just wanted to have a little pause from the everyday for a couple days and this was perfect! The neighborhood was quiet, the cabin felt cozy, and there were little downtown shops and eateries to explore not far from the property. Had we needed more than the small town could offer, Mason City was just down the road. Overall, it was just what we needed to decompress and take a break! Thank you, Shannon, for the excellent communication and warm hospitality!

Girls weekend at the cottage

This is such a cute and well-done remodel with lots of open space in the kitchen and living room. We spent lots of time gathered around the huge island, playing puzzles, talking, eating, and just enjoying the ambiance and friendship. The house is well-stocked and has great towels and sheets. And we loved the shampoo and conditioner provided and ordered some for ourselves:) It’s in a quiet, lovely neighborhood overlooking the lake. Great place! There were some spiders in the corners all over, but I think they will address that and be good to go. Awesome communication and hosts!

Girls Trip

We had a very nice stay in this quiet neighborhood. The house had been recently remodeled and was fresh and clean. Also it's conveniently located near local attractions. The mattresses on the twin beds were quite noisy...we'd recommend that be taken care of as soon as possible.

Family Vacation

We had a great time on our vacation to Clear Lake. The owners were amazing on their quick responses when questions were sent by email. The place was very nice to stay and the location was perfect for a non-shore lake house. We had fun visiting the beaches, going out on a boat, they have a delicious ice cream shop, fun entertainment on Thursday nights, and the location to the grocery store was convenient. Would stay here again.

Family Get Together

We enjoyed our 2-night stay at SplitSeas very much! Location perfect and setting very quiet and peaceful. Home was very clean, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Shannon responded with any questions very promptly and check-in process was easy. It was great to have a garage plus long enough driveway for fishing boat and tow vehicle. We would definitely recommend to others and rent again. Thank you for your hospitality!

Great Place To stay!

We stayed here for week. The north shore location was very convenient to the main highway for quick access to Mason City and Hwy 35. It was also a very pleasant drive into the downtown area and the beach. The house was very spacious for our family group. The twin beds perfect for the kiddo's. Nice bedroom & closet sizes. Kitchen was well stocked with everything for cooking. Freezer overflowed with plenty of ice. The large kitchen island with gas stove was perfect for serving a crowd and provided extra seating for television watching in the living room. The front patio had comfortable seating with a view to the lake. Although not lake front, the lake view was enough to feel like we were at the lake. Loved the early morning breeze and view from the front porch. The hosts were incredibly hospitable. I can't say enough nice things about their attentiveness and engagement. We had no issues during our stay at all. The place is newly renovated, so its up to date, spacious and well stocked. Loved the bath towels. Felt like home. It was what we needed after the house fire. Thank you for your hospitality and the little extra's you did to make us feel welcome. I will definitely stay here again. Thanks again.
