Great Stay

This was our 2nd year staying at the property--can't beat the location and the house is big enough for 4 adults to each have their own room. Will be back next year!

Lovely Property blocks from lake & downtown

We had an excellent experience with the host, and the property was perfect for our extended family group. We visit family in Lake Mills, IA and will definitely choose to stay here over the hotels in Worth. Would highly recommend.

Cozy Cottage

The house was nice and cozy with hotel style amenities. Within a short walking distance of the lake, beach, park, shops, restaurants. Our host Bryan was was great. He sent us a welcome message and later checked to make sure we were enjoying our stay.

Our family loved this property. We walked to the lake, park, and downtown and enjoyed time on the front porch. The communication with the host was exceptional and we appreciated all of their extra touches in the home. We will highly recommend this property to our family and friends.

Clean, well appointed, great location

The property was very well appointed, beds were comfy with quality bedding, and the bathrooms were a good size and had everything we needed. The location was great for walking downtown and it was very close to the lake. The only problem we had was when we put the heat on high enough for the upstairs rooms, it made the downstairs bedroom too warm. It all worked out OK though. I would definitely stay here again! The hosts were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had.

Porch was a beautiful place to relax, chat, and play games

Communication with host was very good. Location of lovely home was really just minutes from anything we wanted to do. Downtown is actually walkable distance, too. Kitchen area well stocked with attractive dishware also. (We utilized restaurants but everything was provided if you wanted to cook your meals.) Bathroom and bedroom spaces beautifully decorated and functional. Parking in front, on a quiet street- or on the lot next to side entrance, was very convenient (especially for unloading and loading cars after stay) Would highly recommend

Perfect Spot!

The house is beautiful. Comfortable, thoughtful...that relaxing vibe. It is in the middle of town. Walkable to all the shops, the beach, the restaurants. It was perfect for our purposes (old) college pals and our teen kids. They had the freedom they needed to go about town and we were able to just chill in adorable Clear Lake. Clear Lake was not on my radar screen at all--the pandemic had us scrambling to find a spot and we thankfully ended up here. We will be back.

Family Thanksgiving

The home was welcoming and easily accommodated all of our family of seven's Thanksgiving activities. The close proximity to downtown and the park was a great plus. We were very pleased with the facilities, hosts, and our stay.

Recently renovated. this home still has all of the character from 1900. Original hardwoods in living room and bedroom, hand carved banister, lathe and plaster walls upstairs, farm house sink in kitchen and main floor bathroom. All of this character with modern electric, plumbing, heating and a/c.

There is also space to park a boat and trailer if you need it. (Up to 25 feet)
