Family vacation from NC

Spacious home, with everything you need from beach towels to a fully stocked kitchen, but why eat in when you are in walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants in Carlsbad Village!! Had a wonderful time, thank you very much!

Convenient Location

Great location! The house is well equipped (somehow we didn’t find the hair dryer). The owner/manager is responsive and accommodating. The two-car garage is very convenient.

Great Location and Floorplan

We had three couples plus one additional person for a five night family reunion. The location allows great access to the beach as well as Carlsbad Village. Very walkable for seven retirees. The floorplan worked great for gathering on the main floor while allowing for good privacy in the bedroom areas. Had some initial problems contacting the manager, but got them worked out and things went well after that.

A great stay!

We had a wonderful time here. It was a great location to the beach and the shops/food. The parking was awesome. The garage was large enough for our Yukon and Tacoma. The house provided everything we needed, including beach supplies, toiletries, seasoning, coffee, and linens. I agree with others that the train is pretty close by so if you’re very sensitive to noise all night that might deter you. We didn’t find it to be an issue. We would definitely go back in a heartbeat!

Good location, good space

We loved the location and the spaciousness of the property. Our primary complaint was the cleanliness - carpets and outside furniture in particular. Also, we relied on the photo of the beach canopy and did not bring our own. Turns out the canopy was broken and unusable. A bit disappointing.

Home away from home

Great location and property. My 2 married children and 2 grandchildren and myself loved the stay. With 4 bedrooms and baths, we each had our own space. Having a porta-crib on site and toys made the stay convenient for the little ones. Well equipped and maintained and so close to beach and attractions. Would recommend!

What a fabulous vacation home location! Close to the village and to the beach. Plenty of wonderful restaurants to visit and plenty of outdoor activities available. The house had everything we needed. Thank you - we will be back!

Wonderful Carlsbad Condo

We love this location and the condo is great for 8 of us. Large and a great kitchen. Elizabeth was very responsive to questions and responded in a timely manner. The condo had everything we needed and more. The paddle and surf boards, bikes and wagon were a great bonus. The back yard could use some attention snd I suspect it is time to recapped and paint! I would highly recommend this place for your family vacation.

Fabulous Location

Loved the property. Fabulous location. Lots of room so everyone could have their privacy. Wonderful open concept dining, kitchen, living area for everyone to be together. So close to shops and the beach. Great private parking. Only negatives were the carpet was a bit dirty and furniture worn out. Overall it was a wonderful vacation rental.

Convenient, large townhome in Carlsbad Village

This property is well located and was a convenient base for our family to gather for the holidays. The underground parking, as well as convenient street parking was very helpful because at times we had three cars at the property. We found the kitchen to be poorly equipped especially since during this pandemic it is not possible to go out to restaurants to eat, so most people are cooking at home. We ended up buying kitchen utensils and some other items including a casserole dish to leave at the property. I discussed this with the property manager and she is going to make sure that the necessary equipment is present for the next guest. In addition, there were a number of ceiling and wall lights in the main family room of the house that were not working. Again, we reported this, and the property manager told me an electrician will be coming by to fix those. Finally, and this is the most significant point, there is a train track and train crossing within a couple of blocks of the townhouse. Trains run 24-7 on that track and I there must be a local ordinance requiring them to blow their horn when entering the crossing, even at night. As a result, you will hear train horns regularly all night long. If that is not something you can deal with then this is not the right property for you. Property manager (Zibby) was very responsive and great to work with.

Our favorite place to stay in Carlsbad

This home is great for our family. I have four boys and there was plenty of space for everyone. We also hosted Thanksgiving dinner and the large dining table was great to feast around. We can't wait to return.

Perfect for family’s

The the photos don’t do the house justice. It’s much roomier than you think. The master bedroom upstairs was a perfect size for our 2 & 4 year old to sleep on an air mattress In the same room since they were too scared to sleep in their own room. The walk to the beach is very short and doable for children or to take a wagon. Their is A little bit of construction noise next door but they don’t start till 8am and our kids were up way before that and they stop around 5pm. Having access to a garage is extremely convenient and the kitchen was great a good size for a large family. We would definitely stay their again.

Perfect beach get away.

Our first time in this rental. It was great. Easy walk to the beach and the downtown area. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The sup boards were fun for the whole family. (One needs a way to transport them though. Luckily, we had a truck.) We would come back to this spot again and again.

Summer break

This is a great vacation rental in a fantastic location. We have previously stayed in this location two times previously and have always had a wonderful time. The property manager responded quickly to any question and ensured we were able to check in early. Highly recommend.

Wonderful, comfortable, modern town home with all the amenities.

The property is beautiful and walking distance to the beach. It was too cold for me but my son went in and swam for a while. We had a 3 and 4 year old along in the trip. The home was great with large open living and dining areas. My 90 year old mother was very comfortable in the downstairs bedroom with full bath. I would recommend this property to everyone and plan to make another trip to Carlsbad next year.

Great Location - Roomy Townhouse!

This was a great location, and comfortable townhouse with plenty of room for 8 people. The accessories for beach were a big hit! The only suggestion would be some new bath towels and bedding in two double rooms upstairs. Overall very pleased and will return!!!!
