Great place for the family and the beach

This house helped our vacation tremendously on a stormy day we were able to stay and swim in the pool instead of the beach. Great place.

This was a very well appointed home. Super clean and everything needed for cooking, cleaning etc. Pool and spa, outdoor kitchen all worked perfectly. We loved it!

Beautiful Beachy Home Perfect For Families

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the large kitchen/ family room, which was perfect for our family meals. The outdoor fire pit was so nice for the cool evenings. The pool was great & the hot tub grotto was so cool!.

We booked this house for my parents 50th anniversary. They wanted to spend time with their children and grandchildren to celebrate. This was the perfect house. It is close to the lagoon and beach, the walk is gorgeous. When we weren’t at the beach the pool kept everyone entertained. So many memories were made and we can’t wait to return.

Perfect getaway spot

The property is amazing and well stocked. The location is ideal. You have privacy but are just minutes from the beach and downtown. We throughly enjoy our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Cozy and fun loved the pool!

Very clean, beautiful pool and barbeque area. My kids loved playing with the Wii and my husband and I enjoyed watching the sunset on the patio. We could walk to the beach which was fun, we found a few good places to eat within walking distance too.

Wonderful Carlsbad Stay

We loved our stay in this lovely home in walking distance to the beach and a short drive to Carlsbad village. Perfect location in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. House was great and we all loved the pool and spa. Couldn’t be better for a family vacation!! Thank you Janet and Dave.

Great House!

Great location! Plenty of space for 8 of us to spread out. Fully stocked kitchen was wonderful! Everyone loved the pool and hot tub. We enjoyed walking to the beach daily. We would love to come back sometime.

Beautiful house in Carlsbad

The house and pool are gorgeous, the only issue we had was the hot tub temperature never got hot. Other than that it was a great stay, the house is very close to everything.

Great 5 day sta stay!

Best part of vacay was the backyard pool. Lots of room for family & friends. Master bedroom very comfy & sooooo quiet, even though it was right off kitchen/ great room. The back bedrooms were fine, although they didn’t have access to closets to hang items. Lights in backyard went on & off at random times. Thanks for wonderful stay.

this house was beautiful the kitchen was well stocked and the backyard was paradise. it was a short walk to the beach and made for a great sunset viewing area. Dave the Owner was so nice and accommodating. there was a small problem with the hot tub and Dave was there in minuets to get it back up and working. we spent most of out stay out in the backyard oasis. Thanks for the great place we will be booking it again in the future

Fantastic Beach Location

Great house for a beach vacation! The pool and spa are exceptional and were in proper working order for our stay. We took advantage of beach walks and near by lagoon for water activities. The home is clean and comfortable. Good layout with multiple sleeping options. Kitchen is large and well equipped for cooking which we did each night. Nice, quiet neighborhood too. Great communication with Janet. She greeted us at the door upon our arrival and answered all our questions. Highly recommend this home.

The location was excellent. Plenty of space to spread out in this rental. I did not get fives all the way across because the two single beds need new mattresses. They are really horrible. The queen bed barely passes too. Sleeping is a very important part of our life. If they would take care of this, they would get fives all the way across

This is a dream property!! We feel so lucky that Janet hosts so generously. We had a smooth check in, the kitchen was well stocked with appliances we wish we had at our own home. Minutes walk to the lagoon and beach, even walked into town multiple times along the beach. But the backyard!! The pool, tub, couches, grill, twinkly lights, we felt we were at our own private resort. Thank you for helping make our family getaway so magical! We hope to return and make it an annual reunion.

Celebrating 4th of July 2025

I couldn’t have asked for a perfect place to enjoy with family. We were walking distance to the beach. And only 5 mins to stores etc.. absolutely loved the pool spent a lot of time relaxing and barbecuing. Definitely coming back! Local Carlsbad residents call our street the best spot it Carlsbad. Off the beaten path, our home is located on a quiet culdesac street located on a low lying bluff overlooking the beautiful Agua Hedionda Lagoon. A peaceful walk along the spacious lagoon trail gets you to the beach in 5 minutes. Surf, boogie board, or swim at Famous Tamarck Beach. It really is the best spot in Carlsbad!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Enjoy the perfect combination of privacy and easy beach access. Our home is located in a quiet culdesac just 2 MINUTES walking from the Agua Hedionda lagoon and beach. Enjoy some early morning fishing for Sea Bass and Halibut. Your Coffee will still be hot when you get there because its 300 feet away. Or walk another 4 minutes along the lagoon trail and surf or Boogie board two of the funnest breaks in all of San Diego at Famous Tamarack Beach. Of course if your in the mood to just relax at home you'll enjoy sitting on the front porch reading a good book. Or sit by your own private heated tropical pool with 8' waterfall. Or truly relax in your private jetted spa nestled within in a wonderful rock feature grotto. When your ready for lunch or dinner walk to Carlsbad's Vigilucci's Italian Resteraunt or drive along the coast one mile to the Village for everything from Sushi to Great Mexican Food. And I mean REAL Mexican Food. Or pick up some Steaks and Burgers and BBQ out back for Dinner by the Pool or fire pit.
