B1707 is great!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had booked the condo we normally stay in, but got a call two weeks prior to our stay that the owners of the condo were going to be using it. That we would need to look at the other avaliable units. We ended up picking b1707 witch was a much nicer condo! We had an issue with the new style locks that take a pin number, but the office staff took care of that for us.

Just what we needed

While the overall property is not new, the unit is recently updated and our experience was very enjoyable. It was freshly cleaned before we arrived and a minor issue was remedied quickly by the staff. We would be happy to stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I spent a few nights at the facility for a short get away. We have stayed with Pinnacle Port multiple times in the past with each experience being a very good one. This trip it was just us and we had a great experience as expected. We rented a single bedroom condo that was emaculate. The food was great, everything was very well kept and the view was great also. We will definately look at staying in this room again when we come again.

Ocean Calm

The condo was beautiful, but not as clean as it should have been. The shower still had sand on the walls and you can sign your name in the dust on the furniture. Our main problem was late checkout due to plane delays. The place is huge and hard to navigate in the dark. It took us 45 minutes to find B tower and our room. The buildings aren't marked well enough. However, we enjoyed our stay. The beach was lovely and the people of Panama City were so welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Very disappointed and stressful!

We love the location of Pinnacle Port but the units are so old that putting a bandaide on the inside does not help when the unit has a bad smell. A coat of paint can’t hide what is going on in the walls and HVAC vents. Don’t let the pretty pictures fool you! The information needs to be modified. The high end comment needs to be removed especially the bedding! The sheets on the bed were sour, king size pillows with queen size pillow cases. The sheets and towels were paper thin. Our stay was 6 days and we had 4 towels, 2 bath clothes and 1 kitchen towel. We asked for more towels, bath cloths and sheets and finally got some a couple days later. We used the queen sheets off the sofa sleeper. (fYI the sleeper sofa is no different from others!) After calling again we gave up and bought hand and bath clothes.We got locked out several times so maybe the lock pad needs to be changed?? The door seal is gone! A blowing rain came through! All of our clothes absorbed the smell of the place and I had to wash everything including rain coats as soon as we got home. The oven door would not open all the way so it is safety hazard when getting something out. We had to turn off the unit air and open the balcony door and turn the ceiling fans on to get some fresh air. The best thing was the view and being close to the beach. Being Senior citizens this trip was very stressful as it was supposed to be a relaxing trip following my husbands back surgery 8 weeks ago. We feel like we wasted our money!

Great Place to Stay

They had been swept but not mopped or well-vacuumed. Other than those two issues, everything was great for my family. The pull-out couch worked great for my 2 daughters. We had a great stay.

Disappointed

Reviewer Comments: While I’d love to boast about the great location, impecable rooms and friendly staff, it has all been over shadowed by the unfortunate mechanical breakdown of their elevator on day 4 and 5 of our trip. As a 3 person family with an infant and with a room on the 7th floor you can imagine the struggle of accomplishing even the simplest tasks. Simply going to our car was a struggle, let alone dragging out beach gear and not to mention checking out. While they did send some help to alleviate some of the burden of check out, it was one single person to assist in emptying a condo full of luggage, beach gear, pack and plays and strollers. Check out was a heavy burden on my husband as I was unable to assist due to our infant. This has left a sour taste as I’m sure it has to the many people we ran into trekking up and down those same stairs.

Vaca time

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This room had a terrible smell. We bought 8 air freshners and stuck them in all rooms. The dryer vent was disgusting. No light in the frig. Bathroom vent disgusting. Behind dressers and under bed filthy. Terrible lighting in bathroom 3 bulbs out. Tons of sand on patio when we arrived. I have bad allergies so with all the dust the place was a nightmare for me. Do disappointing for a weeks stay

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT

Refrigerator had food crumbs in it from the last renters. Top of air conditioner temperature monitor was caked with dust on top as I touched it. Underneath one of the shelving units was caked with very visible dust. Balcony didn't look clean or inviting so I didn't even go out there. Started to clean it all, but I chose not to - it all should've been done before I got there! Disappointed in so many ways.

A homey place

The condo appeared very clean, but when we turned on ceiling fans, a lot of dust a debris flew out from under furniture. We could tell that the furniture had not been cleaned under in awhile. Have rented multiple condos, usually in the Towers”A”. Have rented the same one twice in B1 , bottom floor. I have to say 707 condo is probably my most favorite 1 bedroom now. The view! Wonderful! Nicely updated. Loved the walk in shower.Their was absolutely nothing as of coffee filters, salt pepper. But I can accept. I go thru a bottle of winded at each one I stay in due to do much glass and mirrors, and kids! But I know to bring one., perfectly acceptable.Housecleaning!!! Maybe they were in a hurry....Overall!! Love this condo and hope to rent it again

Great location and easy access to the beach. Unit was clean and several recent updates have been made to the space. Would have liked to have a few more kitchen amenities, but these were small preferences.

Perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything we needed. Alabama tornados / weather kept us from coming down Thurs eve, but we were able to travel Friday. We made the most of it! Beach was beautiful and quiet. Condo is lovely and updated. We’ll be back!
