Great September Getaway

This location is a great place for a September getaway. No crowds, great location! A plus for my husband to be able to fish on the beach and the lake! Definitely will be staying again!

Wonderful Location

The location is great! The views are amazing! The condo was fine, a little dated but nice. I missed the fact that the condo is two story so adding it for others to know. We would stay again.

Reasonably priced home- wouldn't recommend for more than two people.

The views from the kitchen and the living area were amazing. There are a huge selection on pools and a very short walk to the beach. The snack bar on site was handy. The king room, bed/bedding, and roomy shower downstairs were really nice.

Family Vacation

We very much enjoyed our stay! We had easy access to the pool and the beach. There was even a place where my sons could fish. The condo itself was very nice and had a fantastic view of the beach! We would love to stay again in the future! 10/10 recommend!

Great area

The private community is nice. The condo itself is a little outdated. The couch is almost unusable so we didn’t even sit on it. I liked that the condo was a split level but there’s a major temperature difference between the living area and the rest of the condo. I would give a cleanliness of 5 stars had I not had to change the sheets before we went to bed due to a bandaid being stuck to them.

Pictures are deceiving as far as the condo itself. The kitchen is the only area that lived up to the pictures. The couch in the living room that has the hide-a-way bed is absolutely awful. There is literally no padding left in the cushions. The paint is peeling in areas and mismatched (like you’d expect to see in a poorly maintained rental property). There are black spots on the ceiling above the shower in the full bath. The elevators at this specific building (A) are not well maintained and will rattle everything out of you.

Satisfied

The condo was fine for what we needed. It is outdated and a split level (which I would not have preferred but was okay for us 2 adults). It had kitchen utensils and a few pots and pans. I enjoyed the view, and it is on a gated road which is nice because it was quieter than many beach front condos.

Great pcb stay

The condo was amazing with spectacular views of the Panama city beaches and sunsets . It was very clean upon arrival with plenty of space for 4 people . The bed was comfortable and my 2 kids loved the pull out couch ! Out door pool and accommodations was great too !!! The only complaint I have is that the bathroom downstairs was very small was hard to shut the door and get into the shower it was so little and upstairs bathroom was large but no shower or bath was upstairs . The bathrooms really could have bee built differently to accommodate more space for shower and toilet etc. Other than that would recommend the condo!!

Nice Neighborhood but Outdated, Poorly Maintained Condo

Pinnacle Port and the surrounding neighborhood is a nice area with great amenities like a restaurant by the pool, which was very convenient for lunch, and the balcony view of the ocean was beautiful. The downsides to this condo were that only 1 out of 3 of the elevators were working the whole weekend, the condo itself was outdated and where they did do some updates/maintenance it was very poorly done, and also there was mold all around the ceiling in the tiny downstairs bathroom which made me uncomfortable. If we would’ve been staying for longer than a quick weekend I don’t know if we would have stayed. The airflow downstairs was also not good. We wouldn’t stay here again.

It’s ok. Nothing special.

Property needs some updating and looks like it was painted by a rookie. Bed doesn’t we have headboard. Door is off the rail in the laundry area. Also you can easily get I there anyway. The closet rail has fallen. The couch is so uncomfortable.

1 bedroom

The bathroom by the bedroom is very small. It is slippery and needs a grab bar and fold up shower stool. The bedroom needs more and better lighting. The window in the bedroom needs curtains like the upstairs has. The upstairs was great. Large half bath. Vacuum cleaner did not work. Loved the balcony overlooking the beach. The building itself is old. Only 2 elevators were in service. They were small, hot and in high demand. Service on the 3rd one could have waited till the peak season was over. A ramp us desperately needed to get to the beach with beach items, wagon and small kids. I wish there were single story story units available as the steep stairs were a liability.

Functional Unit w/o Bells and Whistles

Solid 3 stars- C+. The Good: This unit is in an excellent building and location. It had the towels and kitchen gadgets I needed. It has amazing views and nice pool area. The Bad: For years, I've stayed in various Carillon rentals and this one is sub-par in terms of decor. It is extremely outdated and the layout is odd. The bathroom with the shower is tiny tiny, with shoddy tile work. Nothing feels beachy in the living area except for the lobster pillow. I was satisfied because I needed a last minute unit. If given the choice again, I would choose one with more aesthetic appeal for the same price.

Disappointed

I’ve stayed At pinnacle port for almost 30 years in several places. This was the worst room I’ve ever had. The walls were two different shades of brown. No beach decor. Fell like I was in a cheap apartment. The only thing updated was the kitchen that matched nothing. I feel like the owner just threw some furniture together to try and make it work. The bed had no headboard and was pushed up against the windows. This is the first bad review in all these I have ever written.

Pinnacle Port

Pinnacle Port is a gated community. We have been coming here for 40 years. Located right on the beach. It is our home away from home. Our kids grew up here, now the grandkids are coming. This unit needs serious updates. The only thing updated was the shower in the downstairs bed/bath. One small lamp was in the bedroom, a closet that had a lot of junk in it. Not really any place to put your clothes. The king-sized bed was not comfortable. This condo is very tired. We ended up leaving the same night and going to a hotel. The rental company is absolutely wonderful. We have used them several times. If there is anything you need, they will make sure you get it.

ZERO LOCAL HELP

The condo was super clean and appliances all new. It is evident owners are in the process of upgrading. That being said, couches are sagging , uncomfortable and smell...we put sheets over couches to mask smell. My MAIN issue was there was ZERO local assistance. An alarm went off one day...I called to try to find out what was going on and NEVER got a local agent. Was it a fire ? Was it a false alarm ? We were on the 9th floor...did we need to evacuate ?? A mass text from facility/VRBO/VACASA was absolutely in order. The frustration of not being able to reach anyone local was truly disturbing. All in all the condo was comfortable and close to the beach ... we would not rent this property again, however. Just too small and zero drawer space. One small 3 drawer dresser is just insufficient.

Great view of the ocean but questionable customer support

The view is awesome from the 9th floor. The unit is clean. What's missing was trash bags and there were no pots or pans. I informed the local management office the following morning when i first notice there were no trash bags in the kitchen. I was told that the person who would deliver the items were in the field and no specific time of delivery was given. Two hours later I noticed there were no pots or pans. Called management again and the same answer about being in the field was given. At the end of it all, it took about two hours to get trash bags and pots and pans after the phone call. There was no sense of urgency or responsiveness. Requested the manager call me but they never did. In addition, the bed is hard as a rock and the TV is set up for wifi TV so there are no local or cable channels. This puts a damper on watching college or NFL football. I ended up leaving a day early instead of sleeping on the bed again.
