Great Location and Stay!

We loved staying here and it was our first time staying in South Mission Beach (we’ve typically stayed a bit more north). The property was close enough to the action at Belmont Park, but far enough that the neighborhood was quiet and less busy. Being able to sit out on the patio was fantastic and walking to the sand was amazing. The 2 bedrooms and bathrooms were a plus, as well as having a spacious parking spot. Lily was easy to work with too. A great stay overall!

Great spot!

We had a great time staying here this July! Unit was very clean, great location and well stocked with beach amenities. The private patio is large and the manager is great to work with. We have stayed in this unit a couple times now and would highly recommend it.

Great place close to the beach!

Quaint house very close to the beach. It was perfect for our family of four. Would definitely stay here again!

very nice south mission beach rental

This is a very nice rental in South Mission Beach. The location is great and extremely close to the beach. The manager was very helpful and handled everything quickly. There were a few little problems and she immediately stepped in to help fix them. There are boogie boards and very nice sand chairs and some sand toys. The patio is large and lovely. The barbecue worked great and we used it many nights. There was construction when we stayed the first two weeks of August. It was awful, but not the fault of the owners of this beach house. We were allowed to stay an extra day as compensation and that was very nice. Some other nearby renters were given discounts after they complained. It really did disrupt the quiet that we have come to enjoy after staying for over 20 years in this area every summer, but again not the fault of the owner of this unit. There is also a hose for rinsing off sand after the beach which was great. The kitchen is very nice and modern. The refrigerator has an ice maker, but no filtered water so if that is important to you, bring your own water. There is a Keurig coffee maker and a Ninja blender which are very nice. The pots are excellent but the skillets are older with rounded bottoms that make it a challenge to get some foods to cook evenly. There is plenty of cookware and bowls, glasses, silverware and cooking utensils including barbecue utensils. There's also plenty of storage in the pantry which is great since we cook most of our meals and bring food with us. There is also a nice sized kitchen table. The living room was very comfortable. The TV has Directv Now which we weren't familiar with, along with Netflix and Amazon Music. There may have been other apps as well. It wasn't what we were used to but it worked out fine. The couch was comfortable but sort of dirty which I imagine is a result of renting toward the end of summer. They couldn't exactly get it cleaned in the few hours between renters on Saturdays. The beds were comfortable with a very large closet in the big bedroom and a tiny one in the smaller bedroom, but we had plenty of room by keeping most of the clothes in the big closet. There were also fans provided which was nice. Trashcans in the bedrooms would have been helpful. The bathrooms were standard and the large one had plenty of room with a bathtub and shower with a handheld sprayer which was great. The feature to keep water in the tub for a bath didn't work. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Experience

Lily’s place was fantastic. An absolutely great location, steps from Mission Beach and a short stroll to Belmont Park. The check-in process was easy and the space was fantastic. We are a family of four and had plenty of room to stretch out. We used the patio almost every night and every accommodation we needed was readily available. The owner was amazing, kept us updated when necessary and was always available if needed. Next time we visit San Diego, Lily’s place will be at the top of our list.

Lovely Staycation with Family

This property was clean, adorable and 30 sec to the beach. My family and I enjoyed staying here. It was walking distance to the Boardwalk and restaurants. It came with everything we needed to enjoy our stay, beach towels, chairs, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it to families.

This place is adorable and great location!!

We had a great time, the rental was very clean and comfortable. The unit provided everything we needed including beach chairs and towels. The location was perfect 30 seconds to the beach and a few minute walk to the shops and roller coaster. The owner was very responsive and the property manager was so nice and helpful she made us feel so comfortable. We will be back again!!!! Thank You Denise, AZ

The best location! All the amenities you need and more than enough room for you and your family.

Awesome location, everything you need steps away from the beach! Close to Belmont park and restaurants. Kid friendly location. Parking space fit my full size truck easily. Property management is really responsive if you need them and accommodating to your needs. Washer and Dryer, upgraded appliances, beach items available- Overall, 5/5!

I'm a happy mom of three active kids. I practice yoga daily to keep me centered and grounded. I love living in San Diego and love my little home on the beach.

Varför värden valde detta boende

My family lived here from 2011-2014. We had an amazing time here and fell in love with San Diego here. My kids loved to play both on the ocean side as well as the bay side. This property is close to restaurants and attractions for both adults and children. We hope you'll enjoy our cozy little beach house as much as we did.
