Om boendet

Graces Beach House ägs av Grace Withey och hanterades av Pat och Mike Withey. I december 2012 dog Grace som 90 år gammal. James Patrick [Pat] och Mike Withey ärvde Graces och hanterar fortfarande det. 2009 beslutade Grace att renovera sitt hem som inkluderade att det släpps ner till dubbarna och ombyggnad av hemmet med nytt allt.

Hemmet ligger i South Mission Beach och är ett enda familjhem. Det är en av endast ett fåtal familjhem med Ocean Front kvar de flesta är lägenheter och består av 2 eller 3 enheter vilket betyder att vid Graces finns det [No Shared Spaces]. South Mission är mycket tystare och låg nyckel jämfört med North Mission och jag tror är mycket trevligare och bättre lämpad för familjer och pensionerade semesterfirare. Boardwalk är precis framför fastigheten sedan en enorm vit sandstrand sedan Stilla havet. Detta är en vacker plats och en fantastisk plats att bo eller besöka.

Great location and Management

My husband, sister and I stayed at this comfortable house right on Mission beach. All of us 80 year olds became volleyball enthusiasts watching all the games across from the patio. The house has comfortable seating and provides a great selection of cooking pots and utensils as well lots of dishes, linens and towels. The owners were very helpful. It was a great week on Mission Beach.

Spring Break 2025

We enjoyed using Grace’s Beach House as our home away from home for spring break. The extras were perfect for our group- the kids enjoyed the beach toys and inside puzzles/ games. Thank you for sharing this space with us!

Fantastic Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay at Graces Beach House! The location was perfect on the boardwalk/beach and close to everything. It had everything that we needed and was very clean. We enjoyed our daily walks as well as watching the volleyball games. The sunsets were beautiful! The hosts were amazing! We can hardly wait to come back! Thank you so very much!

Relaxation and volleyball on the beach

We had an incredible 5 nights at Grace's Place. This home is one-of-a-kind: A standalone, 3 bedroom oasis a short hop over the boardwalk to the beach, volleyball, and ocean. The kitchen is nicely outfitted for all of the seafood cooking we did, the outdoor space is wonderful for enjoying the sun at home, and the home is spacious and open enough for everyone to spread out or watch movies and play games together. Thank you for listing this wonderful space!

Adorable little beach house

We absolutely loved our stay here. The beach is just steps from the door. Our 6 year old loved walking every morning looking for seashells and sand dollars. The house has plenty of sand toys and beach towels/chairs. It also has a really well stocked kitchen with basic spices, Tupperware, even Saran Wrap and ziplock bags, a variety of pots/pans that don’t stick and knives that actually cut! It’s in a great location at the south end of mission beach, which is definitely much quieter for families with small children. And a perfect launch point for SeaWorld and the zoo. This place is a real gem!

Great location & house

Very nice location, perfect spot for small family right across from the beach. Our kids loved being able to sit in the patio and run over to play in the sand and water. The house was clean and had everything we needed for cooking or playing. Plenty of sand toys and towels as well as beach chairs. The patio was also really nice. Easy to check in, and we appreciated being able to get in a little early. We would definitely stay again. I also appreciated that it was a single unit.

Perfect beach getaway!

My husband and I stayed with our 2 year old and loved every minute. Being right on the beach was amazing and we were a 7 minute walk to a playground and near so many amenities. The house was great and had everything we could need. We’ll definitely be back!

Mission Beach

The location on the quiet end of Mission Beach. The location was convenient to go to the zoo and Old Town. It was comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The kitchen had the dishes and cooking supplies the make meals. Pat was very helpful answering the questions we had. It was a great trip!

Great Spot!

San Diego Offshore Fishing Weekend

Fantastic property! Location is superb for beach, restaurants, grocery, marina, etc. Communication with owner was easy, along with check-in process. Highly recommend, and will stay there again if we get the chance.

Best Birthday ever!

The property was the perfect cozy spot along the boardwalk to spend my 40th birthday with my husband and our kids. It was outside of the busiest areas so the spot was quiet and peaceful but you could easily walk to Belmont Park for brunch or dinner. We enjoyed our time here and appreciated the great communication, easy check in, and available parking.

Great location and patio

Had a great long weekend stay with family. The private patio right on the boardwalk and all the included beach chairs and toys were awesome to have access to. A little dated, but perfectly nice place to stay. Easy communication with the hosts about check in and check out. We didn’t have any issues during our stay, but I believe Pat is nearby if needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Graces beach house

Had the best time ever! Very clean, comfortable beds. Everything you need to stay! We enjoyed staying there it was easy to get to! Parking was ok for one car! Lots of beach towels, coffee pods and other items! Would definitely stay again

Our mother Grace Withey was the owner but recently passed away in December 2012 at 90 years old and Pat and I inherited Graces. My wife and I live in Topeka KS. and moved here to watch our son Jeffree Withey play basketball at KU. Ocean breezes. sunsets, bike riding on the boardwalk and around the bay, [we have 4 beach bikes for you to use] swimming in the ocean or bay, surfing or boogie boarding, [we have 4 or 5 boogie board you can use] walking along the ocean or bayside, sun tanning, watching people walk by in your front yard or watching the volleyball players play volleyball or you can play yourself, barbeque or just kick back and relax.
