Great Location

This condo is perfect for a couple wanting to enjoy the white sands of Destin Beach. Literally, just bring yourself, food and drink. This lovely condo has everything you need for a beach vacation. Once you walk out you will be on the private entry beach within a couple of minutes. . Two excellent restaurants less than a block away. Great Location.

Springtime getaway

Wonderful space for the two of us plus our dog. Just what we wanted for a relaxing week at the beach. Access to beach chairs and bikes made it easy to have a good time, and it was an easy walk across to the beach itself. Restaurants nearby made eating out or take out equally convenient. We will be back!

Loved the condo! Especially loved the reserved parking space right out front. All the amenities were there. We also loved having access to cleaning supplies so we could sweep or wash the towels after the beach. Great!

A hidden treasure

All reviews were saying it was a 5 minute walk and how close it was but they didn’t exaggerate exactly HOW CLOSE it was. Even though it is not on the beach and you cannot see the water, it was under a minute bike ride and 1/4 of a mile or less from the private access gate and the water. Two restaurants walking distance. Very nice complex where it was located. Two super nice pools and soft grass. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. 11/10 experience. Will most definitely be coming back

This property is located in the perfect location. Wide open space inside. Privacy to take our fur-baby out. Quiet. A stone’s throw from the beach. CLEAN!! We just loved our stay & will definitely be back.

Perfect

I had a great time at Josh’s property. If anything, the description undersells how nice it is. The location is perfect, and the unit itself is very homey, and has everything you would ever need for your stay. I grew up coming to Chateau La Mer, and while Destin itself has grown exponentially since those early days, this little slice has remained the same. The unit itself is very much updated and they have left you wanting for nothing, including everything you need for the beach, from chairs and umbrellas, to all the kids toys. They even have two bikes! I brought my own so did not use them, but Destin is lovely to bike and these beach cruisers fit right in. I would guess that it would be very hard to find a better value in this beautiful area. I even got to meet Josh's nice Mom as I was leaving, as I had to go back because I had forgotten to leave the parking pass in the unit. Great area, great property, and great unit and host. 10 out of 5 stars!

Fantastic location, inside it's very good

Property exterior and amenities are dated but interior renovations are above what the property would otherwise indicate. Location is fantastic. Price presents a good value to be in such a great location. Owner was responsive and helpful.

Great location and easy beach access.

Spring break for my adult daughter and myself. Great location and beach access. Several restaurants close to condo. Pool just feet away for swimming. Relaxing and well stocked condo for cooking!!

Destin beach condo

Communication with Josh was excellent for access numbers for locks and checkin. Beach across street was awesome. Clear water..white sand. Heated pool closeby. Floors needed to be washed..socks and feet got dirty.

Perfect Location

We needed a vacation to celebrate our first year as parents and a vacation to get away from pandemic stress. We wanted a place close to the beach that would be equally comfortable if we had to stay inside. This condo was it. The place is clean and very comfortable with everything you need. The pool is right across from the condo and the beach is less than 5 min walk away. There is also a bike path that was nice to take the dog and the kiddo on a walk while also social distancing. There are also several restaurants within walking distance that would have been nice to visit pre-pandemic. Overall we had a wonderful time and hope to come back again next year. It was also easy to toddler proof and she liked climbing in and out of the cabinets. Only critique is the clothes washer/dryer are quite old and noisy but functional. Everything else was great! Check the place out!

Quick getaway

The overall experience for this rental was good! The condo was very clean! The owner was very responsive to any questions we had! The beach was right across the street! We had a very relaxing stay! Loved it! I would definitely recommend this place!
