Located in the premier Crystal Beach neighborhood of Destin, this condo boasts its own PRIVATE BEACH!
Chateau La Mer is directly across the street from Captain Dave's on Scenic 98, this second floor, one bedroom unit sleeps four and is the perfect getaway for one or two couples or a small family and is less than a one-minute walk to the PRIVATE beach entrance. Chateau La Mer is in a fantastic location and is a desirable, family-oriented complex, perfect for a peaceful get-away. The complex has no through-traffic, so families with children can easily enjoy the outdoors.
On-site amenities include a community pool (heated seasonally), tennis courts, shuffleboard, pickleball, childrenâs playground, charcoal grills, picnic gazebos, community clubhouse, and vending machines. Nearby attractions include shopping, restaurants, water sports and more.
The condo includes a king size bed in the master bedroom and a Premium queen Cozyâą Sleeper Sofa (5-inch mattress) in the living room.
The condo features a spacious, bright, open concept living area with vaulted ceilings. Thereâs plenty of room for everyone to get comfortable and enjoy themselves. The large living room with flat screen television is very comfortable for watching tv or family movie night. A sofa and matching armchair offer comfortable seating. There is a washer and dryer in the unit so you can pack light.
The kitchen provides everything that you need to prepare any type of meal. There is a refrigerator/freezer, stove and oven, microwave, toaster oven, programmable crock pot, electric frypan, blender, 4 slice toaster, coffee maker, and all the pots and pans you need to whip up meals when you want to dine in. When you want to eat out Captain Daveâs is directly across the street and Kenny Dâs is half a block away so itâs an easy walk to two of the localâs favorites in Destin.
The master bedroom boasts a king bed and flat screen television with a private entrance to the full bath and private access to the patio. Itâs great for morning coffee or enjoying an icy beverage after a fun-filled day on the beach or pool.
Everything you need is nearby, and Destin offers so many different entertaining and recreational activities. From arts and culture to eco-tourism, fine dining to quick bites, water sports and adventure to shopping and spas; museums to malls, festivals to concerts, thereâs always something going on and something for everyone. The Destin area has it all. Shopping is plentiful at nearby Destin Commons and Silver Sand Premium Outlets. We came for a vacation and fell in love with Destin. We began doing vacation rentals in 2007. It gives us great joy to rent to our vacationing guests and hear about what a wonderful time they had in Destin. Most of our guests come back year after year. We feel like they are family. We are always available for our guests and take great pride in giving each of them excellent customer service. Making wonderful family memories in Destin is what it is all about. We have so many with our own children.

Chateau La Mer is on Scenic Gulf Drive in the heart of Crystal Beach and is absolutely relaxing. The area is known as Crystal Beach for the exceptionally clean clear water and sugar white sand. It is the best area of Destin. After staying in different areas ourselves this is where we knew we wanted to be. We are certain you will love it too.

We fell in love with this condo the minute we walked in the front door. It is larger than most we had seen. The PRIVATE beach is such a wonderful amenity. The setting is lovely with tropical plants and flowers everywhere. It gives you a wonderful feeling of rest and relaxation. You can hear the birds sing at this resort. It's peaceful and beautiful.
