Everything was nice although the “dead bolt” really wasn’t functional, could have used another light going down outside steps, tub was also very slickOwner bent over backwards to help with cable issues. Loved the location. Have stayed at Sandpiper Cove in past but not this close to the beach. It was awesome.

We had an excellent time. The balcony veiw was just amazing and picture perfect. The ocean view from the balcony and the bed room is absolutely stunning. Kitchen was well equipped with all the needed essentials. We did not have any problem in checkin. Excellent pet friendly place. We are extremely satisfied with our stay and will definitely come back next time.

Anniversary weekend

Had a lovely time- condo was very nice and clean with everything we needed for a long weekend stay. Beach was beautiful as always. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a wonderful time.

Great Stay for the Price

We come to Destin often and though a bit away from the hustle the condo & gated opportunity is amazing. The owners are fantastic to work with and the balcony view and being steps away from the beach is ideal. The decor is a bit dated but don’t let that deter you. The privacy of the units and the lack of a hotel feel make it well worth it. The living room is huge for a small family with the sleeper couch and it’s perfect for a couple. We enjoyed our stay here and will likely make this a Goto for future visits.

Wonderful location!

My husband, 11 year old son, and our dog and I had a fantastic time. Reading some previous reviews, yes, it’s outdated. Yes, the couch bed was old and uncomfortable BUT they ordered another one which if it’s not there yet it will be soon. We highly recommend this condo and we hope to stay there again. The location was 5 star! The condo had everything we needed. To be able to hear the waves while sleeping and see the dolphins every morning made the trip dreamy. I’d definitely recommend this place for a vacation.

Disappointed

The location was great but it stops there. The couch was filthy, the silverware still dirty (no forks at all), i was disappointed at the condition of the unit. There was water damage on the ceiling, the beach-side wall was damaged, only one moving door and the other sliding door was repaired with duct tape and inoperable. Our family rented approximately five other units at sandpiper cove and they were all in much better shape.

Nice Condo and clean inside. Beautiful location with Ocean / beach view. Just a few disappointments. The kitchen window when entering the unit has an overhang of cabinets from the inside and from the outside it appears that it has been wet behind and not a clean appearance.The deck for outside seating needs some work or replaced completely, but at the very least a good coat of paint. Other than these issues it is a nice place and great location to stay. We appreciate the hospitality.

I love staying at this condo. The view is gorgeous. The condo is really nice. Perfect for me and my fur baby. The kitchen is well stocked. Check in is so easy. I had no problem being able to contact the host. This is my second time to stay here and I plan to return. The restaurant onsite is wonderful. Everything is close by.

Great view

While we did have a few minor things, the owners took care of them quickly and always responded quickly. My only issue is the parking to which I have a F350 dually. Great place whoever rents you will like. Beach chair rentals are 280 a week so be ready for that. Thnaks for the great view.

Floors were dirty. Didn’t like that we couldn’t open all the doors and the windows to listen to the surf. Ice maker didn’t work so we had to buy ice. Kitchen faucet loose. No rails or hand bars in the bathroom/shower. Shower door came off

Location, location, location

Great location, we enjoyed our stay even though the weather was not the best. Nice unit but, is in need of some TLC.

Great location

Right on the beach. Great view and location. Fast response to questions. Clean and comfortable. Would be even better if there were a screen door on the patio door or the ability to open windows to hear the ocean when weather is good. Additional $10 pet fee charged by Sandpiper Cove Resort that wasn't mentioned in the description and not included in the original rate. Would stay there again.

Not impressed


Excellent location, excellent view. Property is very old and floors were uneven and sagging. Property needed a deep clean as there was dust and grime in every corner and on lamps, mirrors, tables etc. We choose this property as they allowed pets but for our next stay in Destin we will hire a pet sitter and return to the place we’ve always stayed before as it is much less expensive, nicer, newer, cleaner and they even provide complimentary toiletries, as well as a box of detergent and softener for one load of laundry. Overall, we were not impressed.

Lovely location and view!

It fits the bill as far as on the beach, beach access, and being able to have our dogs with us. We really enjoyed our stay. It's not very updated. Kitchen faucet was broken, but we made it work. All in all, it's fine if you don't mind outdated and a bit old feeling. Fence was broken also on the patio. Just didn't sense it gets much attention, but the location and view are great. Walls are thin. Feels like a 4-plex and you can hear folks up and walking around. Nice enough for a getaway, and we did like the property as a whole.
