Soak your muscles in the new hot tub, stroll over to the Moonridge Corridor for local coffee and donut shops, and catch the ski shuttle up to the resort in the winter months. You are under ten minutes to the marina and downtown Village shops- the possibilities are endless from this amazing base camp chalet!

Enjoy plenty of flat year round driveway parking and a beautifully landscaped private tree lined property that greet your group as you pull up to your home upon arrival day. As you enter the warm and cozy living room area you are met with knotty pine wall accents and beamed ceilings that immediately give you mountain vibes and a feeling like you are right at home. Big open windows will provide you with the perfect balance of natural lighting and views of the quiet neighborhood and snow falling outside as you snuggle up on the cozy couch and warm your toes together in front of the toasty wood burning fireplace and pop on your favorite movie on the flat screen Streaming TV with complimentary hi speed WIFI internet supplied for your enjoyment. (Guests must have their own accounts to enjoy Streaming Services.)

Around the corner you will find a cute dining room with even more amazing window views and the efficiently equipped kitchen which offers the chef of your group all that you will need to prepare holiday meals and home cooked snack for your adventures on the mountain. Great home, convenient location

This home was seemingly newly updated—it has a nice kitchen and bathroom with bidet and waterfall shower head (good water pressure). There is also a new couch, not leather as shown in photos. Be careful upon arrival, the front door is tricky to open. There is an exposed nail next to the door handle that cut into my fiance's knuckle. The jacuzzi was also out of order during our stay, I just wish they gave us a heads up before our arrival. Other than that, we had a nice stay. This home is just around the corner from the mountain.

Nice cozy cabin

Overall it was a nice stay. The place was well kept and cozy. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Just a few comments for improvement 1) some parts were dusty, although it was advertised, there was only one disposable single use shampoo and conditioner. So I would bring my own if I rent this cabin again. I found it interesting no shades or privacy screen on bathroom windows. Loved the jacuzzi

Safety hazard would not recommend

For the safety of you and your family do not stay here. I stayed here for a weekend with my boyfriend and when we got to the property it was 40 degrees in the home. The heater was showing error codes when we tried to turn it on so we contacted our host for help and they said to just wait and it will work. After waiting 2 hours it did not work so we decided to look up the error codes ourselves to see if we can fix the issue. We found out that this specific heater was recalled due to carbon monoxide exposure and the website says to not use the heater due to that reason. We notified the rental company and it took them almost 4 hours to bring over some Space heaters since we were freezing. Regardless of the safety issue and the error codes showing up on the heater, they claim “the heater still works” when it did not. Maintenance even came and advised that a new heater would need to be installed and told us that we could not move homes because everything was booked. We paid 900 for this home for the weekend so we could enjoy a nicer rental but froze our butts off instead. Their team is not very responsive in requesting a refund so it looks like we will have to go to vrbo for help. Save yourself money, inconvenience, and a health hazard - do not stay here!

Easy get away

First time in Big Bear & the cabin was okay for our stay! Location was nice & easy to get to! The cabin had everything we needed. My husband enjoyed the hot tub the most. The bed was very comfortable! Only complaint would be the strange bathroom set up. I’m not sure why the shower “door” is only half present. I had to put towels on the ground to make sure I wasn’t getting water on the floor. There is no counter top around the sink which made making getting ready more challenging but there was one next to the toilet. The toilet paper holder was on the cabinet door that did not stay closed which made it slightly annoying. The cabin felt very old with newer touches, but was a decent place to stay. Walking around the neighborhood was also very pleasant in the cool weather. Thank you!
