I wish I could give this place zero stars. My stay at Fox N Bear Cottages was beyond disappointing. First off, the listing mentioned a fireplace and a microwave, yet there was no fireplace and no microwave. When I brought up these issues to the front desk, the staff was rude and completely unhelpful, acting like I was bothering them just for expecting what was advertised.
To make matters worse, there were no blankets—just thin sheets on the bed. It was freezing at night, and the only heater in the cabin smelled like it was burning, so I couldn’t even use it safely. On top of that, the remote for the TV was missing, so I had to download an app just to use it. But somehow, someone else’s remote kept connecting to our TV, causing it to change channels, turn off randomly, and adjust the volume on its own—extremely frustrating.
Overall, this stay was a nightmare. Between the false advertising, terrible customer service, and lack of basic amenities, I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else!
