We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Michel’s beautiful property. The view was wonderful and we loved the easy access to the beach. The interior was clean, stylish and comfortable. We really enjoyed preparing meals in the open plan kitchen that was very well equipped. The indoor pool was great especially as we had a couple of rainy days. The enclosed garden was perfect for our two little dogs and even though they are very small, there was no way they could escape. We would definitely return!

A perfect gite on the riverbank. Wonderful views, complimented by the internals of the property. Superb! Extremely well equipped and thought out. Lovely, warm and friendsly host and so quiet enabling chance to unwind and relax and explore the area. There's much to do within a short drive, and from the gite itself. Loved having the chickens to feed! Would thoroughly recommend.

Welcoming and friendly host who left some nice local treats to sample after showing us around the property. Lovely house in gorgeous location, excellent comms. My wife (ex-hairdresser) mentioned it would be nice to have a mirror in the bedrooms, but otherwise the place was perfect, comfortable, well equipped, and the views from every room are superb. The television is in the master bedroom rather than the living room, but the views of the beach, tide and wildlife were so good that we did not watch tv during our stay. Lots to see and do in the area, including numerous wonderful beaches, coastal walks, villages, woodlands, although the area is quiet and is not over-developed. We were fortunate and had perfect weather during our stay, with a (rare) view of the Aurora Borealis as a bonus on our last night before travelling home. Highly recommended.

The property appears to be brand new, with everything you need for a great stay. Literally a few meters from the beach, with access direct from the bottom of the garden. A fairly private location - quiet, but with access to a supermarket, bakery etc only a few minutes drive away (or a splashy walk across the estuary when the tide is out!). Very good, will definitely be back!

We spent a week here for our first Christmas away from home and couldn’t have asked for more! The property has everything - great sized garden, sea views, spacious inside, coy log fire and a welcoming, homely atmosphere. Bertrand went above and beyond - we arrived many hours later than planned but he was happy to wait and greet us on our arrival, show us round the property and give guidance on the area! He also went out of his way before we travelled to help with confirming a vet booking made by us (with our very limited French) that was needed for our return to the UK. The house has everything you could need - from plenty of pots/pans/dishes for a full Christmas dinner, large dining table, board games and a gorgeous log fire to relax next to when you’re fully fed and watered!!!! It has been renovated to a very high standard, an amazing match with old and modern. The beds and pillows are SO comfortable and fantastic showers to wake you up in the morning and bedding/bed linen and towels are provided :) It was literally a 1-minute walk from the sea and we had many lovely walks along the coast when the tide was out. Make sure you visit the local creperie - delicious! Thank you so much, Bertrand and Regine, for your hospitality and an amazing stay! Very clean and comfortable home. Everything you need to have a great stay and lovely comfortable beds. Delphine was excellent despite my dreadful school days french. Highly recommended
