This was a trip "home" for our mother. She was living in Eisenerz as a child and left in 1952, and this was the first time she was back with her own adult children. We had a wonderful time exploring the village, chatting with locals, visiting shops and the fortified church, wandering to all the places mom would play. We went to the mine where Opa worked and sat by the shift tower overlooking the village.
The cabin was absolutely stunning! It was close to the village but set in an ideal setting. We were thrilled with the quality of the cabin. Our host took care of everything and we felt pampered. Absolutely gorgeous! 10/10
